About this house rental
Situated in Mountain Village, this attractive house for $533 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Quiet, secluded, one of a kind, custom home 5 minutes from Telluride Ski Resort. Beautifully tucked into the quakies with world class views of Mount Wilson 14,017', also know as Coors Mountain. House is on two acres of aspen trees with privacy. You can't see another home from this special spot! The living/dining/kitchen is open concept with a wood burning fireplace. Relax and enjoy with views all around. The two Master Suites have a King beds with comfy new mattresses. One Master has a fireplace and one has a cozy sun room. Each Master Bedroom has a private bathroom, The third bedroom has a day bed with a trundle twin below the day bed. This bed can be converted into a King. Three loft area beds throughout the home are best suited for children. One loft is in the lower Master Suite, one in the bedroom with the trundle bed and the third is above the dining room in a sofa sleeper. There is a large recreation room on the lower level with a large sectional couch....recliners and cup holders included! Behind the sofa is a custom built bar, conveniently located near the hot tub on the outside patio! The views are gorgeous! It is a beautiful setting with views as a backdrop like you wouldn't believe!

The house is beautiful, with amazing views and amenities. Quiet and serene, yet incredibly conveniently located. Very clean from top to bottom. And each room is equipped with everything you need to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible. We loved everything about it. Overall, a perfect stay. We cant wait to come back!

The location was great. Could have been cleaned better, crumbs on kitchen counter and floors. No dish towels available and not enough bath towels. With a little maintenance could be an amazing spot.

Loved how close the home was to everything but also able to escape the crowd. Loved to hot tub with views and wildlife. Would definitely bring my family back for sure.

Great location and views. My only critique is interior lighting and electronics. Several track lighting fixtures not working as well as not enough lumens in the kitchen and TV room. It would be nice to have blue-tooth connectivity with a speaker system (sound bar with remote speakers) so we could connect with our devices.

NO AC. NO KITCHEN TOWELS. The patio's and decks were filthy, weeds everywhere on the main patio. Hot tub is almost inaccessible with all the plants / weeds in the way. The outside chairs provided were cheap and flimsy. NO AC. NO KITCHEN TOWELS. No place to put your trash bags outside.

This house is great! It is located in a peaceful private location. The house is multi level and nicely layed out. The views were incredible from the porch and inside as well. It was well stocked with everything you need. It is just a short drive to the gondolas. We would happily stay here again! We had a great visit.

We went to the jazz fest night shows in town and the commute was easy. It was less than 10 min to drive to the mountain village gondola, which took us right down to town.

This unique property made Telluride so much more enjoyable. With the lofts that my children loved to the hot tub that we sat in at night watching the stars. There was a small herd of deer that joined us for breakfast in the mornings.
It is a very secluded home and you can not see anyone from the property.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay. With any older property, upgrades would take this place to the next level.

The views from the driveway, decks and hot tub are unbelievable just about any time of day or night.

Wow! Great place! We have stayed in Telluride many times, skiing, festivals, etc. From high-end, on slope hotels to “in-town” VRBOs, this large home is the very best! Cody, your host,is very receptive and always available to answer your questions.
Three of our party were skiers and found the location to be excellent for hitting the slopes…and great for the other important part of skiing, relaxing afterwards. A large living room and a huge media room/ bar.
The other of our group stayed to “stir the soup” and loved the amazing views, especially Mt. Wilson, as well as the peacefulness.
This VRBO is well equipped with everything you need in kitchen and in bathrooms with nice linens in the bedrooms that have very comfy king beds. Kitchen has a SubZero fridge and a great 6 burner gas range. Cold water is ice cold in the Rockies and Telluride is known for theirs, but the hot water is quickly hot, too.
The floor plan is interesting and has three levels so everyone feels they have their own space. Three lofts provide fun sleeping areas if you are bringing kids.
Wanting to come back in summer as the yard area around the house looks inviting with a grill and a hot tub that we just never got to as we had so much other stuff to do. Big TV in media room and stocked with a large cabinet filled with every game you can imagine. Oh, good Wifi reception, too!
You can tell that we were all happy staying here. You will be, too!

We had a group out to ski - only about a 7 minute drive from the house to the parking garage in Mountain Village. House has spectacular views, and was the perfect space for our group. Only run-in we had was a lack of extra supplies (paper towels, trash bags, towels, wash cloths, etc.) as well as the trash bin out front being full. Hot tub was great, just an icy walk from the back door to the tub. The many stairs in the house are certainly not for the faint of heart, and should be considered if any future groups have elderly and/or disabled guests. Overall a perfect space for us this weekend.

Overall, this place is priced fairly low likely because it’s not very nice. The entire house was just dirty in general… There were hairs on the floor and in the beds when we arrived, there was dust and dirt on the floor, the hot tub water was smelly and green with floating dirt and hair, and there was trash spread across the driveway when we arrived. It was also clear that no care was taken to the driveway before arrival, because there was a huge mound of snow that my dad had to shovel out so that we could enter the driveway. The host responded to one question and then stopped responding. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. That said, the pros include that it is a large space, the views are nice, and there are certainly potential assuming it is better managed and cleaned up.

The oven had caked on food, dust was thick, made us sick, since we have allergies, decon under bath sinks. Doors were unlocked in basement and were missing locks. We had to put stools on door tracks to be safe. Right next to the hiway. Had ER, left a day early. Owners have yet to respond.

Beautiful location. Very close to mountain village. Amazing views from all angles of the house and very homie. House was very clean and well kept! Home owner was quick to respond when I needed help with the hot tub.
Make sure you have an off road capable vehicle if staying in the winter. We had no problem making our way to the house but the driveway is steep and narrow. Best to show up in the daylight.
Absolutely will be staying again when I visit telluride.

This house has potential with updates.
Unfortunately the inside of the house needs lots of work. The carpet is old, bunching up and nasty. Every kitchen cabinet is filthy inside and out. One of the doors has a panel that is rotting away and ready to fall out (safety issue). The windows have a heavy dirty film on them which is a bummer because it messes with the view. On a sunny day the home heats up to about 80° inside even with windows open. Many windows were broken, not able to crank open or had no screen so the bugs would come in. Two of the three toilets would barely flush. The subzero refrigerator & freezer vents are caked in dust. The potholders provided in the kitchen are hardened with filth. The basement patio door has a ripped screen. One of the master bathrooms has signs of mold starting in the shower. The inside of the oven is filthy and smells a little when you use it. Material on couch and pillows are worn. Took 20 minutes to clean the grill before we could use it.
Not happy to pay a premium price per night for a home that is not premium.

The primary concern was no hard wired or even working smoke detectors in fact the master one was removed from the mounting bracket. Toilets would barley flush,flickering lights some exposed wiring missing door hardware and screens on doors and windows missing. This made it hard to cool off. Needs a deep cleaning. First poor experience ever with a VRBO property. From a former property manager for over 20 years in a resort town would never rent one in this shape.Agreed to pay cleaning fee and other fees since it was to late to find another property (moved to great one after the one night) but requested refund on stay. No word back will be disputing charges.

The property is in a nice area and has great views. However it is in need of some updates and upkeep. We were there on some warm days for that time of the year and we could not open some of the windows because they did not have screens on them. When we did, moths and bugs came in. Some of the windows did not open. I was surprised at the lack of paper products: toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for instance. We purchased our own. Plus we purchased our own shampoo and bath soap. There were no extra linens: pillow cases, towels etc. The driveway is very narrow and steep. You need to be comfortable with backing up quite a long way.

The house is located on a very private lot, in a beautiful neighborhood, and very close to the Mountain Village. The views from inside and the large hot tub were spectacular. Like some of the reviews noted, it’s a little dated and there was a large crack in one of the windows upstairs. But overall, we had a great stay.

The only issue we ran into was how hot the cabin was when we first got there - I guess there was no AC due to the high elevation, but we got there during a heat wave and had to turn down all the thermostats and open what windows we could to cool it down.
