Come relax in our serene indoor / outdoor palapa poolside living. Bring another friend or 2 – we’ve added another bedroom suite plus a tv/games/kids' room. Now, even more perfect for families and friends! Casa Ilusion is a unique, luxury private beachfront home. Located on just under an acre of land with towering palm trees and 120 feet of beachfront. Ideally located on the quiet north side beach, The villa is a short walk to the town center. No car is necessary – restaurants, cafes and lovely Sayulita shopping are within an easy 5 minute stroll. As soon as you enter Casa Ilusion, you will see through the beautifully appointed main house to the professionally landscaped, tranquil grounds & spacious lawn lush with magnificent palms to the ocean beyond. Relax under a palapa, umbrella, or in a hammock by the ocean, with the sounds of the waves and the sea breeze. Carry your board 200 yards up the beach to surf the left or right, or walk down the beach to dinner. Casa Ilusion’s main house and casita are ideal for 5 couples. The five spacious, air conditioned suites, each with an ocean view, offer the highest level of comfort with luxury Frette bedding on king beds, all complete with their own en suite bathrooms. The new separate TV/games room can be converted to 2 twin beds for accommodating 2 children (kids only please!). This room is next to our first floor bedroom and can be configured as a family suite as needed. In addition to the main house comfortably sleeping 8 adults + 2 children itself, there is a beautiful beachfront Casita, just steps from the ocean, which comfortably sleeps 3 (King + Single bed). The Casita is air conditioned 600 square feet - a real "Honeymoon Casita" suite with full bath, and a beautiful, open palapa style ceiling. In all, Casa Ilusion has beds for 10 adults and 3 children. We also can provide 2 cribs and highchairs. The main living space comes equipped with all of the amenities you could need; flat screen HD TV & satellite cable & Wi-Fi connection is accessible throughout the house and the grounds. Please note that the wifi can not support multiple zoom meetings at once, but is fast enough for general surfing and email. Thank you. Casa Ilusion features its own private beach area with palm trees situated atop a five-foot seawall so you can either lie in the sun at water's edge on the wide public beach, or find some shade to take a nap in a hammock on our own private beach frontage. This feature is unique to Casa Ilusion. Daily Cleaning Service is included six days per week (not Sunday). We had a lovely stay at Casa Ilusion with our close family friends. The home was wonderful, as pictured. The pool, yard, and private beach were perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The location was great - just far enough from the bustle of town - we loved being able to walk in to town, and enjoyed exploring some of the owner's favorites. Thank you, we hope to return!

We had the most amazing time at this property! It is in the perfect location on the quiet side of the sayulita beach and can easily walk to the busier beach and down town. Theo is the best manager and goes above and beyond to make sure you will experience the best vacation at the villas. The owners of the property where also very on it to ensure we had the best stay. I would recommend this villa to everyone it was such a lovely place for me and my family to stay!

We had the trip of a lifetime staying at this gorgeous property. The manager was extremely helpful and got us everything we needed from golf carts to chefs to prepare meals. All the staff are warm, professional and talented. The cleanliness was impeccable as was the food. The rooms are gorgeous with no detail left unthought of. The pool was perfect for kids and adults and the beach in front was spectacular. Truly the trip of a lifetime!

We loved our stay at Casa Illusion and really appreciated how attentive Theo was to our every question and request. One of the prettiest views I have ever stayed in and the house was perfect with lots of privacy. Fidelina, the housekeeper, was so kind and attentive and made our stay so comfortable. This was our 2nd stay at Casa Ilusion and it was just as magical as the first. The property is spectacular. The decor is simple, elegant and authentic. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms which gives everyone lovely privacy. Theo is wonderful and helped us plan many activities, the most incredible massages as well as special requests. It is away from town so the beach is not as crowded, yet it's a simple walk into town. There are 2 cafes across the street and 1 has yoga on the roof. The entire situation is dreamy and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to go back. Thank you Theo and to the owners for sharing this gift with us! Hasta proxima vez!

We can not say enough about this property.
The host, gardens/pool area, beach access, walk ability to the town center.
We had an amazing cook, massage therapists, and yoga instructor that came to the house making our trip that much more relaxing.
Our host was so attentive helping us with booking all these things to include transportation to and from the airport.
We will be booking again next year!

Fabulous property that actually looks like the video of the place! Everyone from property manager, to cook, to house cleaner to pool guy so friendly and great at what they do. Location wonderful. Pool lovely and warm (pool toys for kids greatly appreciated). Lots of room to spread out for everyone in our family of 10. Just so relaxing all the way around. Pricepoint fabulous….Highly recommend!

Pictures are great, but the house is even better. From the moment we walked in we knew we chose wisely. Theo, the house manager is super helpful to prepare transport, chefs, cooks, etc. Fidelina was a great cleaner, Zuli a great cook, and Chef Daniel Murillo knocks it out of the park. The house was great for a group of couples. Every room is nice and has it's own bathroom. There is a bit of wear and tear here and there, I'm guessing because it's in constant use, but everything also gets fixed promptly. All in all a great place and we look forward to coming back soon.

The property is truly amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice. Theo was amazing at helping with everything we needed. Everyone who stayed in the main house was happy. My boyfriend and I stayed in the casita which was cute. However halfway through are stay there was an odor that we noticed in the evening and we were not able to stay in the room. The following day in the late afternoon, a dead possum was found near the vent. Obviously not an ideal situation but Theo did everything he could to resolve the issue the following day. I would say if you have a choice definitely stay in the main house.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home and the onsite team were professional and friendly and saw to our every need. We soaked up the sun, enjoyed swimming, yoga, massages and long walks on the beach. We hired the recommended "home-cook" as well as the Chef for a celebration on our final evening. Couldn't have asked for a better destination to take our family.

We absolutely loved our week in this house. It is beyond glorious and my husband and I loved the Casita, being the grandma and grands of the group, it provided a bit of luxurious privacy for us! The ocean swimming and kayaking were marvelous, and the pool was simply perfect for in between. Our every question was answered by Theo. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with my family ♥️

This is a lovely and comfortable home. Every bedroom is beautiful so nobody has a bad room which is typically the case with a family as large as ours. The house is spacious and the grounds are amazing with many separate outdoor spaces and amazing birds and bright green iguanas that visit. The ocean was a little rough for the younger children so we did spend a lot of time at the pool. The house is completely set for children with pool toys, high chairs, cribs. The housekeeper Fidilina comes everyday and Theo the house manager was responsive with the little safe gliches that we had. Unfortunately 6 of our party did become quite ill to no fault of the house. We actually think it was the ocean or maybe the food in town. Sayulita has had a problem in the past with raw sewage dumping into the ocean but thought the new water treatment plant fixed that but maybe still a problem. Something to be aware of. Except for that it was a great stay. Definately a great house.

This house is THE house!
From the staff to the bedsheets, our entire experience was next level! This house is amazing. Theo, the house manager is so great and responsive! It is big enough to provide privacy for up to four families. We were not on top of each other at all. I will stay here a million times over again. Can’t wait to go again.

Great property and location
We had a great time (and our 2nd stay at this property!). It is just as pictured, has a nice warm pool (not all properties have heated pools), and has plenty of space to unwind and relax. We will be back!

An Amazing Slice of Luxury
What a beautiful house with everything you could possibly want for a family vacation or a romantic couples vacation. The maid service was exceptional and we all went home with nicely folded, clean clothes. The house manager was very helpful arranging airport transfers, securing a private chef, recommending excursions and promptly addressing all needs.
The house is just as good as the pictures. Just a wonderful slice of luxury. Staying at La Casa Ilusion is the best of both worlds. You have complete privacy and seclusion when you want it and the town is easily walkable or a 3 minute golf cart ride to everything. Five stars. If you get a chance have Chef Daniel wow you with his artistic and delicious dishes.

Perfect house for our vacation
We were looking for a vacation spot for our adult kids and needed a place for 4 couples. The house was a perfect fit offering just the right mix of closeness while having plenty of areas for alone time as well. The staff was great. And as others have said, it's a beautiful house.
Based on our experience, we'd agree with a number of the recommendations of Theo and other reviews. Carts are nice to have. Use the taxi service from the airport instead of renting a car. Having a cook makes life so much easier. Splurge on a chef for at least one meal.

Wonderful house and property
Girls trip - loved having the 5 bed/bath setup. The property is beautiful and very large lots of places to relax. We also enjoyed the pool, the furnishings and being able to walk into town. Fidleina was also very helpful. The bed upstairs (bedroom 3) could use a refresh hard as a brick.

Lovely oceanfront home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa llusion. The location was perfect being on the sand, Margarita bar next door, coffee and yoga across the street, with an easy walk downtown to the markets. The ensuite bedrooms were nicely separated and allowed privacy for our two families of 10 adults and 3 young children. The grounds were beautifully maintained and having the heated pool was a must. Our housekeeper Fidilina was wonderful as well as Zuli who cooked for us and chef Daniel for an extra special celebration dinner! Property manager Theo was very helpful before our stay and easy to communicate with during our stay with any questions or needs. (which were few) The morning barking dog reminded me of home :)

Absolute Bliss
This property is amazing. There is literally not enough one can say about how beautiful and relaxing this place is. We had a group of 10 and it was so spacious there could have been twice as many on the property and you would still have room to find your own little nook to read and relax. Easy walk to restaurants and mini supers. We did end up renting a golf cart about half way through our stay and that was awesome to run and get things and make quick trips around town. Not needed, but a great convenience. I do recommend only getting the 4 seat carts however, we got the 6 seater and it was not easy to park in town. Get two 4 seaters if you have a larger group, it will be worth it.

Beautiful Beachfront Property in Sayulita
Overall, this property was such a huge hit with our family during our stay in Sayulita for our wedding. The location is unbeatable and the layout is perfect with each bedroom having its own en suite bathroom! Theo was quite accommodating and flexible with requests. There is room for improvement on the cleanliness of the kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms, but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and hope to return soon!

Beautiful, private Sayulita family vacation
Property and house were stunning. Very clean, very well kept up, and very private. More than enough room for our family of 10 to spread out. We loved having laundry on sight. Loved the margarita bar next door, and coffee & yoga across the street. Kitchen was very well appointed, (we're restaurant owners, knives need to be sharpened). House keeper was a dream. She made us coffee, guac, and fruit platters. Highly, Highly recommend!

Great Family Vacation Home
The property matches the pictures! It was overall a wonderful stay. All enjoyed the pool, and the beach is right outside the gate. The ocean is rougher in this part of the beach, but kids with adults can still splash and have fun. We liked being away from the main part of town. Except for a barking dog next door, it was quiet (he mostly barked early morning). We had Zuli cook for us three nights, her food was spectacular and well worth the cost, which was very reasonable. The housekeeper was wonderful as well. We didn't need to bother Theo the property manager for anything related to the property. Walk into town was only 10 minutes, but we did rent golf carts since we had smaller children with us. We plan to return!
