Easy access, AC in bedrooms and all of the amenities make this the perfect rental Dramatically perched 60 ft. over the calm Caribbean Sea, 'Cliffhanger' presents stunning views across Coral Harbor, into Hurricane Hole and beyond to the BVI. This waterfront villa offers everything new; a new modern full kitchen with all the amenities, new bathrooms with stunning detail, and all new furniture, appliances, and electronics. 'Cliffhanger' is ideal for couples and perfect for families, as it comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults guests with its 3 air conditioned bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The master bedroom, kitchen, extra bathroom and living space is located on the main level and can accommodate extra kids in the living room if needed. The other two bedrooms, king or two twins and a queen, each with their own entrance on the lower deck, can be reached via an exterior staircase. Having our home set up this way allows us to offer the master bedroom alone or in combination with either one or two of the downstairs bedrooms. Our first time on St. John. Everything was perfect, optimum location between north and south beaches, house is beautifully placed right on bay shore, equipped with absolutely everything you would need during the stay. Close to shops and restaurants, communication with host also great, having a greater lead us from the dock and giving a tour of the house was really helpful. We had a great time!

This was our first stay in St. John and we couldn’t have had a better experience with this villa. The property management team was perfectly on time with each communication, very responsive, and made it very easy. The property was very very clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, and there was lots of room for our party of 5 to spread out. Stunning views, beautifully decorated. Very highly recommend to anyone.

Great views, very clean and nice property. Ok now the bad. Mosquito’s galore. They must be getting in through the screens or the floor. We spent most nights killing 20 to 30 in the main master room. Also the main room with kitchen is not air conditioned. Makes it a real problem when that is the main room family gathers. Also not kid friendly if you need the other rooms for kids beings they are on the second floor away from the main house. Other than chasing mosquitoes every night and being sweaty while we ate this place was great.

Beautiful views and comfy beds
This property was great ! All the previous reviews were correct in saying the pictures don’t do it justice. Beds were really cozy and kitchen has everything needed for your stay. Parking is tight on a main road so if you can squeeze your guests into one car that is definitely recommended !

We were literally minutes away to a grocery store in either direction. Snorkling at the rocky entry below was fun and easy with reef to the left and right. The views were Breathtaking and the entire house promoted utter relaxation. Jared, Keri and Clare were amazing at communicating and providing us with everything we needed. Easy check in and check out process. We would not hesitate to stay again and cannot wait till our next trip! Thank you!

Paradise!
Wow is a under statement! Property description and pictures were spot on. The 2 decks were our favorite place to just relax and the views were awesome. Loved having the sunrise in the mornings. House was very well stocked with all the utensils we needed. The day we arrived our greeter was waiting for us and was so nice and showed us all around and all the details. Keri was great with helping with all my questions and helpful with information about the island and rentals. We had 2 boys 8 & 11 and a girl 13 and the rooms worked out perfectly for them. They loved having the ring game on their deck as well. The house is close to restaurants and several grocery markets which was very convenient. We hope to stay here again soon.

The cliffhanger was a wonderful experience for our family. The house is well stocked and everything you need, plus more, is there. It is in an area convenient to all the beautiful beaches. Out only suggestions would be. To invest in a generator as we lost power 2 days during our stay and it was very hot and we had no water during the outages.

Paradise Found
Cliffhanger was true paradise! Hearing and seeing the beautiful water all day was amazing. Coral Bay was perfectly remote. The layout of the house was great for our family of six – together but separate. The grill was in fine working condition – not always the case with vacation properties. Other added touches – beach towels, bags, cooler, chairs and noodles. I can’t thank Jared enough for going above and beyond on our arrival. We reserved, in advance, a rental car at the airport only to discover they were out of cars. We did not have a backup plan. Jared responded immediately, reserved a car on St John on our behalf and gave us instructions to take a taxi to the ferry. Things were smooth sailing from there on out. Woo meet us in Coral Bay to take us to the property and give us the house tour – very helpful. We did not want to leave!

The home was lovely-lots of great touches throughout. Very nice kitchen that was good for our group to hang out in. The only small issue was that there was not any shampoo in any of the bathrooms. Other than that the house really had everything-kitchen was well stocked with pans etc and lots of beach towels and bathing towels too.

This house is beautiful and conveniently located in Coral Bay Area of St. John. The decks look out to a perfect view of paradise.

Amazing views, excellent condition, great service.
Thank you to Jared and Austin for such great service! The home exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend Cliffhanger to anyone, especially a family with young kids. Our 3 children (ages 8-13) had a wonderful time spotting 2ft long iguanas in the trees as they lounged in the hammock and hammock chairs on the decks after our daily snorkeling excursions. (I think we visited 7 beaches in total, each with their own unique character!) Salt Pond Bay is a short drive away with excellent snorkeling. There, we swam with sea turtles, floated above stingrays, befriended a few barracudas, chillaxed with a squad of small squid, and saw much other flora and fauna during our snorkeling adventures. Definitely a life-long family memory for the record books. We were thankful for the cool A/C bedrooms too! A few things about the "above and beyond" service. Austin met us at the docks and patiently waited at the car rental place and then led us over and gave us a personal tour of the house. On the second day, the control unit on the dishwasher went out. ( I figured it was my penance because I promised my wife I would do the dishes the entire week. Hand washing and drying dishes for 7 takes getting used to. ) However, I texted Jared and Austin and they answered within minutes and installed a new control unit by the time we returned from snorkeling the very next day! (I was ecstatic, my wife thought I got off too easy) I can tell you, for an island where everything has it's relaxed island time, this repair service was incredible. Jared also recommended Flyaway Charters for a full-day private charter around the island which to sum that experience up in one word I would say ...Magical! Captain Jeremy was an awesome guide, a great storyteller, an experienced captain, and was very generous of spirit. Learning about pirate history, snorkeling at "hidden" spots, and clowning around at Lime Out floating taco bar were all part of our fun day on (and in) the crystal blue waters of St. John.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cliffhanger. We had three teenage boys that fit very comfortably. We enjoyed the deck with views every evening for sunsets. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!

Family Vacation
Staying at Cliffhanger was a great experience! We appreciated Austin meeting us at the ferry and helping get our rental car and then Jared taking us to the property. The house was extremely clean, and the kitchen had everything you would ever need. The view was beautiful, and we enjoyed seeing the sting rays and nurse sharks every day. The location was perfect for the beaches and local restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful vacation for our family!!

Beautiful spot
This was our second time on St John and the seven of us spent 9 days at Cliffhanger and thoroughly enjoyed the house and the views. The house was exactly what we wanted and was very well maintained and decorated. Great location and we felt very well taken care of. You will not be disappointed with this house!

St.John's break
Very nicely and completely appointed home; clean and welcoming. Met by agent's representative Andy in Cruz Bay at the ferry and led to the house which was very helpful.
State road # 10 is full of potholes from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay and would ask them to bring you on Road #20 which is maintained by the National Park system and only about 2 miles longer in duration but a much more pleasant drive.
The views from the home are beautiful and the beaches exquisite; restaurants in Cruz
Bay better than in Coral Bay, but many quaint and quiet features of Coral Bay that were lovely, including the donkeys, goats and chickens that wander freely but not intrusively.
Definitely St. John is a better choice for beauty and peacefulness than St. Thomas.
Generally speaking, the accommodations and the ease of dealing with the HomeAway system has been very straightforward and problem free.
