Kahana Sunset is an amazing, private ocean front resort located 1 mile from Kapalua on Maui's beautiful west side. "Keoni Nui" Bay is lovely, and home to many majestic sea turtles and tropical fish. "Hale 'O Honu," House of Turtles, has unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Molokai and Lanai, and is a spacious, beautifully appointed 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome with all the comforts and amenities you'll ever need. Our resort is not in a hotel zone, but rather nestled in a beautiful bay amongst a small handful of luxurious private homes where one feels truly in touch with nature. 5G Wireless Internet throughout the home and a serene lanai with views of the Pacific Ocean, Molokai and Lanai make it the perfect place to work remotely The condo main floor features a gourmet kitchen with state of the art appliances, utensils and a washer/dryer. The spacious living room is tastefully appointed with just enough island effect, and includes a comfortable yet stylish furnishings, a Smart HDTV, a bluetooth speaker for playing from your devices, and a queen sofabed should your group require additional capacity, complete with bamboo shades for privacy in the night. An electric retractable awning provides shade over the lanai, providing an 'outdoor room' comfortable throughout the day! The master bedroom features elegant, tropical dark wood furniture, lovely marble vanity and bathroom, a flat screen HDTV and a spacious balcony/deck with unobstructed views of Molokai and Lanai. The surf will lull you to sleep if the deliciously comfortable bed doesn't! A sliding barn door provides privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. Whether you dine out or cook at home, you have many options. There are dozens of excellent restaurants nearby, or join others on the beach for cocktails at sunset. The grills are always a fun place to meet other guests and owners, share recipes, and build memories to last a lifetime. No need to worry about crowding or not enough chairs no matter what time you decide to take in the beautiful sights oceanside! The "Keone Nui Room" provides ample tables, chairs and chaises in the shade for resting within a few feet of the beautiful surf, and can be used to gather with fellow travelers in groups, and can be reserved for special events. There is also a lovely library shelf for exchanging books. Nearby hikes and walks take you through enchanted MonkeyPod Forests, along world class resort beach trails, and to blowholes and ocean pools which only Mother Nature can procure. We were so pleased with the quality of the condo. The view from the lanai was amazing, the ocean right outside the door. We saw whales in the distance and sea turtles right below our property. The condo had a lovely set of cooking utensils and as my sister and I are “foodie” people it was nice to have the cooking utensils we needed to cook great meals. Everything was clean and well attended. Would highly recommend this condo

This is our 2nd stay at Kahana Sunset. We originally stayed with our kids and there seemed to be much more beach then. This time, possibly due to high surf, much less beach.
Nonetheless, the property is clean, quiet, and secluded. The oceanfront views are beautiful. We saw so many whales right from the condo and turtles right over the sea wall.
The condo was clean and comfortable… just as advertised.
Because of the location, seeing all of the island is difficult without a lot of driving. But, if you’re looking to go to Maui and just relax on this end of the island, then this would be a great place to stay.

Ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. Full kitchen with cookware and dishes. Parking is easy with plenty open spaces. Private beach just steps away. Will stay here again!

I could not have asked for a better first experience of visiting Hawaii. My family and I made plans in April to visit Hawaii and stay at Bonnie’s place however after the fires we were uncertain if we should visit. I was in contact with Bonnie a few times and she was always quick to reply to any and all questions I had…she definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had all of the necessary information. The condo was extremely comfortable and being able to walk out the back door to see sea turtles swimming and witness multiple rainbows was priceless. I look forward to coming back again.

Beautiful condo and an amazing location. Everything in the condo was up to date and terrific. We felt right at home. Loved the closeness of the beach and even got to swim with a sea turtle!! Would definitely stay here again!

The unit was amazing and in a great location. Sullivan properties reached out to confirm I had received instructions for the property which I hadn't yet, but it was resolved quickly.

This is a quiet condo with a cove for snorkeling that is nice. Clean and great communication with Bonnie! I would recommend this location for an older couple though as many of the residents are retired. We had our teen boys with us and playing football down by the beach wasn't appreciated by many (no fault of the condo-just fyi).

We had a lovely time at this condo! I stayed here with my husband, brother and sister in law for more than a week. One if the highlights was just walking out the dirt and looking down at the water to watch sea turtles every single day. There were so many and almost always there!
Good swimming at the beach just down the stairs. Great location and really nice property. Close to a local grocery store for supplies and some great food spots. Would stay here again for sure!

You can't go wrong staying at the Kahana Sunset. Waterfront condos and your own private beach. Unit A7 was beautiful. Any closer to the water and we would have been in it. The condo was clean, well appointed and perfectly located. We loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean and waking up with the turtles and whales.
The owner was fantastic and always available for questions and tips.
You would be hard pressed to find better accommodations than A7 at Kahana Sunset.

Our family of 5 had a fabulous stay at this updated townhouse. The unit was incredibly clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked. The views from all areas of the townhouse are incredible. We saw turtles everyday. The complex was quiet and was wonderful to return home to after a busy day at the beach. The owners were extremely pleasant and communication was great. They provided a lot of information about the area and went out of their way to accommodate us when our return flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Highly recommend.

The townhouse is beautiful, very well equipped and maintained, and the view is spectacular. The only down side is that there is very little privacy. Just past the Lanai is a common area where people walk past, and inside the condo the second bedroom does not have a door on the bathroom, so there is no privacy there either. Also, the beach is being eroded away by the waves, and when the surf is up, as it was during our stay, it is pretty much impossible to get in the water. Too dangerous. Other than that it's a great place. We would come back.

Everything was a breeze setting up our stay , communication was perfect and the property and location was top notch, sunset views from the patio every night and swimming with the turtles on the private beach everyday……Holiday the family will never forget!

This was an amazing trip! The condo overlooks an incredible lagoon that has several turtles that come by. We were able to snorkel within a few feet of them and then walk back up to the condo to watch them swimming in the lagoon. The kids loved every second, and the views were perfect throughout our stay! Definitely will come back.

This condo was perfect for our Maui getaway. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed stepping off our lanai to watch the sea turtles below (we always found 2-8 turtles at a time!). The condo itself was well taken care of and perfect amount of space for our family of 3. They had everything we needed including all the beach gear (chairs, umbrella, sand toys). The beach access and pool were great when we wanted to stay on property, but the location was also so close to Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay and Kaanapali beach.
I can’t say enough about the hospitality that Bonnie provided. Her communication both prior to our trip and during the trip was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be coming back to this condo again!

Great location, great property, highly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay here. Bonnie was very responsible and inviting.
The house was charming, comfortable and well maintained. It was a little smaller than expected, but to be fair we are a family of 7 so we were pushing the space limit. That did not matter because everything else was above and beyond expectations. The grounds were immaculate, we used the pool and private beach every day. There are 7 shared grills that were always accessible and very clean. I like to grill so getting to do so while watching a Hawaiian sunset was a bonus for me. The location was close to many options but still felt very private.
And the sunset view was postcard perfect!

While the condo itself was exactly as described and had enough room, there were other difficulties. The view was as described, perfect, very good from both upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs patio had no privacy. I had emailed Bonnie with my concern from the pictures showing lack of privacy and she stated there were enough bushes between condos. There were not! While the stairs in the unit are pictured, the steep 10 to 12 stairs to get to the unit were not pictured or mentioned! I was sent the wrong password and while this is not the worst thing to happen, they knew I was coming in at night and were not available by phone or email. We almost had to stay at a hotel that night. The pool is very small. The directions specifically to parking Lot for A building were very poor.

Loved our stay!!
The beach was so nice - and never crowded - that we didn't need to go anywhere else. Make sure to bring your snorkel gear! Swimming with the turtles and beautiful fish right off the beach was amazing. Both lanais look out over Moloka'i and Lana'i with breaching whales and beautiful sunsets in between. We're already looking forward to scheduling a week or two next year.

My husband and I stayed with our 3 elementary/middle school aged kids right before Christmas. The views from the condo and all around Kahana Sunset were just breathtaking. The sea turtles were amazing. Overall, it’s just a low key and lovely place to stay.

We've been coming to Kahana Sunset for over 30 years and love the garden setting of the grounds the beautiful pool and BarB Q facility. Step out the back door to a beautiful sunset or enjoy the turtles swimming just below. The Field's Maui home makes our Hawaiian visit one of our most memorable vacations.

This property is so beautiful and quiet. You have your own secluded beach to enjoy. Everyday we watched numerous turtles swim around the property! It seems very secluded but at the same time within walking distance to coffee, grocery store, and other shops in Napili.
