Situated in Ludlow, this lovely house for $330 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with this lovely historic home located in the heart of Ludlow. With a sprawling floor plan, you will find plenty of space to be together with loved ones. With the original structure built in the late 1800s, this home boasts plenty of architectural character, but has modern comforts including a jetted tub in the primary bathroom and a private washer/dryer. When it is time to hit the slopes, you can walk to a nearby shuttle stop. But Okemo Mountain Resort offers more than just winter activities. In the summer, Okemo is home to challenging, championship-level golf courses with breathtaking views, mini golf for the kids, nearby hiking and mountain biking trails, indoor rock climbing, zip line tours, disc golfing, and fantastic dining options. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Ski shuttle details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This house is as advertised. It has great space for a large family to hang out. The upstairs layout can be tough if you're not too mobile, but that's reflected in the listing. A/C units are now in the bedrooms, so no worry about it being hot in the summer. We didn't cook while we were there, so I can't really speak to the kitchen accessories and supplies. The location is great with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and more a few minutes away; the grocery store is also nearby.
When we arrived, we saw aants walking from the sunroom toward the kitchen. We texted the management company at 6:30PM. We called them at 6:45PM. We sat on hold for 30 minutes without anyone picking up. I texted again at 8PM. My wife tried calling at that point and sat on hold for an hour without response. At 8:30PM they texted me and said they sent the problem to their local office. I responded asking whether my wife should hang up. They didn't respond until 3AM (yes, 3AM) saying yes, she can hang up and asking me to send photos. I sent them at 6AM. I sent more photos at 7:30AM since the ants were still there. At 11:15AM, I texted again. Finally, I called Vrbo to see if they could assist. Vrbo called the company on my behalf. Two minutes after I hung up with Vrbo, the management company called me and said the local office would be out. They finally arrived at 12:30PM to set ant traps. Extremely poor service that they blamed on "higher than average" volume.

Convenient location, cute historic home. Received accurate timely communications from Vacasa. I wasn’t aware there would be someone coming to access the garage during our stay, I think it was someone coming to pickup garbage and recyclables. And if you’re a coffee drinker we left behind Folgers and sugar cubes :)

The place was extremely clean, nicely decorated. Lacked fans but they were brought out within 30 minutes. We had to buy toilet paper and paper towels, salt and pepper shakers. We left them for the next guests. We like the home nicely payed out and room to spare. Owners should consider adding window AC units. It was very hot, I have asthma and had difficulty breathing. Stayed outside more than inside.

We didn't need all the bedrooms but this home was reasonably priced in comparison to less bedroom condo'e etc. Beside gave us feel of living in this neighborhood. Loved the house, although it does have 12-15 narrow steps climb to bedrooms as stated in vrbo description, so anyone with mobility related walking issues should be aware. We did have one let down in communication with problem in kitchen. The microwave oven was not on and seemed to have no power connection. We checked power box for any tripped connections, found none, called number to report, was promised someone would come the next day to check on/repair. No one came, called again and was informed repair person would come the next day, no one showed, didn't bother to call them again nor had they communicated with us about this issue, so did without the microwave, not a great inconvenience but communication about the issue was negligent. Still would recommend this place highly though as place to stay.

Great location close to slopes
Perfect family ski house for an Okemo getaway. Property felt like home - cozy with plenty of various spaces for people to spread out and get comfortable. We appreciated the games, washer and dryer, and mud room area for our ski items. All essentials were provided like dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. Being an older home, it was a bit drafty and unevenly heated. There was also a major need for more kitchen items - cooking and eating utensils and cookery. Otherwise, it was a good value and met our needs.

Some of the home’s features are aging, but it was spotlessly clean. The location cannot be beat, within an easy and beautiful walk of everything you need. What blew us away was the quality and variety of restaurants. We ate out (in) every night and never had a bad meal! Will absolutely stay again!

Best Stay Ever!
I would book this place every weekend if I could. Perfect location right near Okemo mountain, there is even a shuttle that comes right next to the place. The house itself is amazing. There is plenty of space for guests and it is incredibly well kept, we had absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Even the bed was comfortable! I will absolutely be booking again soon.

Cozy Vermont Home near Okemo - Ideal location
House is very conveniently located near Okemo. You have immediate access to town for food, groceries, wine, beer, pharmacy, etc. 5 minute drive to Clock Tower base. House well equipped with kitchen ware, towels, basic toiletries. Beds were comfortable which was a blessing after day of skiing. House has charm. Kids enjoyed it.

We had such a wonderful stay!
We've stayed here before and just love this historic home. It has so much charm and it's always spotlessly clean and well maintained. Being able to walk to stores and restaurants is awesome. Ludlow is such a quaint and friendly town. The house is set back from the main road and is super quiet and private. We'll definitely be back again for the ski season! (We read the previous review and couldn't disagree more-there is no black mold in the living room or anywhere else. The whole house is consistently clean. And that comment about the wallpaper is ridiculous, it's fine!)

Great location and lots of bedroom space. Needs some updates. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls and there is black colored mold in the living room on the walls and ceiling. Lots of seating for meals and family.
