Spring Break groups and events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, etc. are not permitted. Shayna Playa sits only a half mile from the Pier Village. If you're up for a walk, impeccable dining, shopping, and beach hopping are no more than a 9-minute stroll from the front door. A stay at Shayna Playa makes it a breeze for guests to easily balance time outside exploring and spending time indoors cozied up in style. Exterior Features The freshly painted exterior (2024) of Shayna Playa is paired with inviting brick accents which provide for an eye-catching contrast within its lush surroundings. While guests never have to travel far from Shayna Playa to find exciting stops to explore, there's also plenty of fun to be found right on-site. This home features two sprawling front porches to relax, sip coffee and enjoy conversation with friends. The backyard is equipped with a private swimming pool (12x24) which can be heated for an additional fee of $45/night. Lounge chairs are settled around the pool and a poolside gas grill offers up a chance to make for a savory alfresco moment during any stay. Interior Amenities Space, light, and a collection of tasteful furnishings are yours to enjoy from the moment you step through the door of Shayna Playa. An open concept design with high ceilings and a combination of hardwood floors and tile flooring throughout makes for easy entertaining. The living room in this home away from home features two cozy gray sofas settled around a sleek gray coffee table and in front of a large flat-screen television when guests are up for some added entertainment. A collection of board games is found stocked in the living room, ideal for enjoying some friendly competition while the chef amongst your group prepares a savory meal in the fully equipped kitchen. This culinary space pairs white cabinetry with stainless steel appliances and beautiful countertops matched with a white tile backsplash. When it's time to enjoy a meal, the dining room table is suitable for eight guests with additional dining on the screen porch for four. Getting a rest is simple in Shayna Playa. While all of the bedrooms are inviting, the oversized primary suite upstairs hosts a king bed, oversized walk-in-closet and massive luxury en suite bath with double vanity. The primary bedroom also has a private entrance to a spacious porch. Also located on the second level are two guest bedrooms that share a hall bath. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed with new mattress and the second guest bedroom offers twin over twin bunk bed perfect for your younger guests. A third guest bedroom is located on the main living level which has private access to a full bath with secondary access to the hallway. While the cottage can comfortably accommodate 8 guests, there is space for two additional guests on the large futon located in the sitting room for a total occupancy of 10 guests. The home seemed better than described! We had plenty of room for our 9 people. The children loved the pool, the parents loved the nearness of the beach and the ease of biking to dinners. We hope to return again!

We enjoyed a fun girls' weekend in St. Simon's and this was the perfect house. We had plenty of room and everything was extremely clean. We appreciated the beautiful, well-appointed kitchen as we had several meals at the house. We also loved the pool. Close enough for a quick drive to the downtown area and no problems with parking.

We absolutely loved our stay! House is stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space in the house and the pool was perfect. Our 3 kiddos loved that there was 3 beds in the bunk room! Highly recommend staying here!

For the most part our stay was enjoyable. The only negative was that the upstairs queen bed was so wore out and uncomfortable to sleep on. The property manager was very responsive but they couldn’t resolve this issue for us unfortunately. Other than that it was the perfect location and walkable to everything we wanted to do.

Opted to pay for the heated pool, and it was definitely worth it. Outside temp was 58 degrees at night, but the pool water was warm enough that even when I got out to go back in the house, I did not get uncomfortably cold. The pool is lit, which is great for those evenings when the sun is going down early. The house was very clean and a nicely updated.

We had the perfect week here!! The property was very clean and location was perfect! We rented a golf cart and had a great time! The pool was a huge plus and the realty company was super responsive!! Only suggestion is to put a tv in the upstairs queen bedroom since the others all had tvs.

Kids, parents, and Grandparents stayed in this large house for a week. The pool was a perfect size for 4 kiddos and a few adults.
The house had many more items available than what was listed like dishwasher pods and laundry pods. We cooked at least two meals a day for 10 people.
The upstairs children’s bunk room was VERY hot. No matter how many fans we tried, it was stifling. The rest of the house was perfectly comfortable.
Parking was ample for 3 cars, and the kids really enjoyed our trip.

Great Place near the beach
We loved the rooms, and space the home has. Everything was clean and well maintained. Some small complaints would be the outdoor shower is opposite of the pool and it's at the edge of a deck so falls could happen while trying to wash the sand off. Also, the water pressure in the showers could be better. All in all, it's a great place and we definitely enjoyed St. Simons.

Nice, clean home. Walk to beach access is a manageable shady walk. We rented a golf cart, which worked out great, with parking a beach access. The pool is on the smaller side but worked out great for a mix of adults and small children. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

We loved the location and especially the front porch sitting. The pool was our youngest daughter's favorite part. We enjoyed our stay and plan to book this home again in the future. The place and the location were great. The pool was the best-totally saved our stay because the weather was soooo bad the whole time we were there. We cranked the pool up to 92 and it was really really nice. Only problem with the place was that the TV sets weren’t working quite right. The one in the downstairs bedroom was not a smart tv and we couldn’t actually get it to do anything at all. The others barely worked. Wouldn’t have mattered normally, but, again, it was really bad weather. Overall, we loved the place and would totally go back!

Our only issues were that one of the beds needed to be repaired and that there was dog feces on the living room carpet.

Beautiful home
Took a girls trip to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. There were 7 of us and it was plenty comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the close walk to lighthouse/pier. Only challenge was finding the key to get in when we arrived. Also the queen size bed upstairs could use to be replaced. Overall the place was perfect!
