Located in the quiet Beech Hill neighborhood of Lake Placid, just a block from the shores of Mirror Lake, sits this lovely, private lodge. This home features over 3700 Square Feet of space on three levels with plenty of room for everyone ! With great views of Cobble Mountain from the main living area and stone patio, to the private back deck with perennial gardens and outdoor hot tub, you will not find a nicer rental with a proven record of excellence ! (just read our reviews) As you enter the main level from either the grand front entrance or the back mud room, you will find an expansive dining and family room with plenty of windows and light, two seating areas and a gourmet kitchen with island seating and top of the line appliances and cookware. Also on this level is a queen bedroom with private bath, perfect for those that may not wish to climb stairs, a powder room and laundry room with new front loading washer and dryer. Outside, there are covered porches on both the front and back of the house along with stone patios featuring outdoor dining and fire pit, or in the back, a 6 person hot tub with built in speakers and light system. Back to the living area…there is a smart TV and Upstairs, on the open loft that overlooks the lower level, is a game table and views of the lower level and mountains. The lower level which is accessed from a lovely open staircase in the dining area has a full size pool table, spacious sectional sofa with Home Theater with Xbox Kinect and a futon sofa. Upstairs bedrooms are as follows: Master suite with a king size brass bed, private bath with large natural stone tiled shower and a bonus room with a twin bed, the perfect family suite. Queen bed with window seat and also a private bath Queen bed and bunk beds - room sleeps four also with private bath Added benefits are plenty of parking, summer or winter, and a HEATED two car garage which will have at least one space available and plenty of room for sports equipment. The house and property were both fantastic. Exactly as described. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. There is so much to do in the area around the property. We had a wonderful time, and honestly i could have stayed for months. The area around Mirror Lake and Lake Placid is simply stunning. There are plenty of great places to eat very close (walking distance) to the house. And even more within a short, gorgeous drive.
We found this house, and this area, to be a great spot to call home during our exploration of the Adirondacks.

We were in town for a wedding and blown away by this cabin! It was the perfect combination of modern and rustic, extremely convenient, and overall a great place to spend a long weekend in the Adirondacks. Strongly recommend!

My family rents a house before Christmas so we can all be together and exchange gifts and enjoy each other's company. The house was amazing! The host already had a beautiful Christmas tree up with lights. We brought ornaments and decorated it.

This VRBO home was the perfect setting to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family. We always love visiting Lake Placid and we’re totally delighted with our accommodations. The home was spacious, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with complete amenities for our family. The house was exactly as described in the listing and was so convenient to walk into town. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Lake Placid!

The property is absolutely stunning inside and out. We loved the open plan of the main floor, the Adirondack decor, and the fact that each bedroom had its own private bath. The entire house and all immensities (hot tub, washer/dryer, gas grill) were all extremely clean and came with clear instructions. The owner was quick to respond to communication and easy to work with. We loved the location - private enough to feel intimate but just a 20-30 minute walk into downtown Lake Placid. Also, the house is located close to the Cobble Hill Trailhead, which was a lovely hike. Overall, I highly recommend the property and the owner - I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week at this house central to so many activities in Lake Placid. So many items were provided for our family group spanning ages from 2 to 73! Any questions or issues(dryer replaced) were immediately addressed by the owners and maintenance manager. Loved the design of the house which provided more than enough room for our group. Hope to come back again!

We were very happy with this rental. The house was just as listed. The house was clean and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. I especially appreciated the comfy master bed. I would stay here again and highly recommend this rental.

This house is outstanding! The location was very convenient for our athletes competing in Lake Placid, and close to town if you want to walk around the lake to Main Street. The house was super clean, had plenty of space, and was a lot of fun to hang out, play pool, relax in the hot tub, and make a great meal. Linda was a great communicator and very accommodating! If you are coming to Lake Placid, you have to check this place out. We really loved it - thank you!

BEAUTIFUL HOME! Had everything we needed and a nice large kitchen for all our gourmet meals! PERFECT! We Xcountry skied and went sledding on the Lake Placid Resort Golf Course - wonderful! Went ice skating, hiked Cobble Mt, stopped in at the brewery, all just around the corner! So glad we had this opportunity to experience this lovely home.

Excellent property. Firewood on-site. The care taker was very helpful and timely with snow removal each morning to allow us to reach the slopes.

Three (over age 60) couples stayed in Linda's beautiful house. Clean and comfortable. Quality furnishings, plentiful linens and towels. We skied each day and ice-skated early evenings (slopes close at 4) We hope to rent from Linda again next year!

Our family visits Lake Placid for a long weekend every October, and enjoys trying new rental homes. Our group needs a lot of space, and this house fit us perfectly! Linda responded quickly to our questions before our trip, and was in touch during our stay as well. We love to cook, and the kitchen was well appointed for large dinners. We loved the fire pit out back which was a hit for roasting marshmallows. The rooms were comfortable, and appreciate the ample supply of linens. Walk to the village was safe and accessible. Overall, this house exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!!

We totally lucked out b/c the Ironman race was reconfigured this year and the house ended up being directly across the street from the bike transition area (and also right near the swim exit). Regardless of that, though, the house is very centrally located....it's not a super-quick walk to town, but still a very doable stroll (probably about a mile).
The house itself was great. Everything was clean and in great shape. Perfect accommodations for a family. We really enjoyed the patios, cooking in the well-furnished kitchen, and relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great family vacation in this house. The house had plenty of space to sleep and hang out. It is great that most of the bedrooms have their own bathroom. Everyone loved the hot-tub! It was also great to have the pool table and games in the basement. My only issue is that 3 of the beds are listed on the site as being queens when they are actually full beds. In addition, some of the neighbors were quite loud at night (although the home and yard were generally private and had trees/plants blocking views of the neighbors, which was nice and provided privacy). Otherwise, the house was in a great location--within walking distance to the lake and village area. The outside/yard area was really nice, too. We used the fire pit in the evenings.
