Located in Margaret River, this charming house for $326 per night is a great option for your next break. 3 bedrooms , one with ensuite bathroom. A large Family bathroom with shower and separate bath. 2 separate toilets. There is also an outside shower with hot water. Well equipped kitchen, huge living area, and wide verandahs. There is a large loft that is suitable for school age children (but not in the middle of Summer) This home will easily and comfortably accommodate 6 adults The home is set in 8 acres ( 3 hectares ) of Jarrah/Marri bush with abundant local flora and a family of kangaroos. Margaret River township with its many cafes and eating places is 3 Km away and an pleasant walk. Wineries, swimming and surfing beaches and many tourist attractions are nearby. The bushland setting means that the home retains privacy and a sense of being in the forest whilst being very convenient to town, beaches and wineries. A very comfortable home in a great location. This is not a "party" house. We have neighbours who appreciate their tranquility too. Excessive numbers of people and noise are not welcome. Accomodation Bedroom 1 - Queen size bed. Ensuite bathroom and toilet. Bedroom 2 - Queen size bed. TV and DVD. Bedroom 3 - 2 King single beds . Loft - Double bed and spare mattress. Great for school aged children. Cot and High Chair. Facilities Well equipped Kitchen with modern appliances and ample crockery, cutlery and glass ware. Dining Table that seats 8. Lounges and wood fire for winter. TV area with digital reception. Laundry with washing machine. Bathroom with Bath and separate shower. 2 separate Toilets. Outdoor shower with hot water. Table tennis, Lots of games, books and sporting equipment. WIFI internet connection. Reverse cycle air conditioning in living areas.

We are repeat visitors to Kevill Cottage as we love the peaceful vibe of the bush setting. We spent hours around the fire pit, and wood burning stove We find everything we need in the kitchen well provided for, which makes it so easy to just unpack and enjoy the getaway.

Arrived to a beautiful, clean house with an amazing outlook into native forest with kangaroos mooching about. The aim was to relax and do as little as possible and this property was perfect. Everything at our fingertips. The fire was already set up and ready to go so we were toasty warm within no time. Rod and Kay certainly made us feel welcome. Would visit again in a heartbeat.

Thank you Rod and Kay for a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed waking up to see the kangaroos on the grounds and the wide open space of the house. The table tennis was a hit too! Parts of the house could do with a good scrub (e.g. the floors) but it was perfect for us to escape the city for a weekend. We'll be back!

The cleanliness , Crisp white sheets and fully equipped kitchen where standouts !! cosy wood fire , with an abundance of cut wood and kindling on hand , well kept gardens and kangaroos roaming around was such a wonderful thing to see. Close to everything , Will definitely be returning, Thank you !

A spacious, relaxing home surrounded by bush. The location was perfect for exploring the whole Margaret River area, from Busselton down to Augusta. Our family particularly enjoyed the table tennis and other games.

Kevill Cottage is an oasis of calm and natural surrounds. Kangaroos will literally come by and check you out. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped. It is terrifically quiet, yet Margaret River town is a few minutes away. The Waterfall is minutes the other way and an amazing spot for a visit. Property managers are amiable and helpful. A weather-related power outage on our last night was resolved on the phone to them - much appreciated. I hesitate to recommend the place to anyone, because I want it to be available at a moments notice for us. That would just be selfish though. I've already referred several friends. Visit Kevill Cottage today.

Kevill cottage is the perfect mix of cosy seclusion and close proximity to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. House was clean and had all the amenities and more to make it feel like a true home away from home. We were happy to stay in by the fire playing table tennis and games, but could also easily access activities for the kids in the local area. Rod was in contact if there was the need but everything was catered for. Wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back for another holiday!

The property was private with a feeling of being in the forest although it was in close proximity to town. It had an efficient log fire, was well set up with everything that we could possibly need. It made for a relaxing stay with friends. We were happy to return back to the home away from home after a day touring.

Juat returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Kevill Cottage! The place is exactly as pictured, and the hosts have thought of everything. Absolutely beautiful setting, stunning wildlife, close evough to pop into town, but far enough out to be away from it all. Wonderfully stocked with every amenity, games, firewood.. you name it, Rod and Kay have thought of it! Cant rate this place highly enough, we will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

A lovely property tucked away in the beautiful native bushland of WA's southwest, less than 10 min from Margaret River town center and Prevelly Beach. The property is well equipped with a lovely and effective fireplace that makes the stay so much more memorable. It can easily accommodate a large family or group of friends. We've been visiting many times over the past fifteen years and keep going back.

we had a very relaxing time. enjoyed the Australian bush land setting complete with kangaroos. an easy drive into the town and handy to the beaches. the selection of games was a welcome bonus. TV seems to have a problem with Channel 7, very flickery. all in all a great little holiday and we will recommend Kevill Cottage to our friends.

I was thoroughly impressed with the property. It was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of the property was the fireplace which added a cozy touch to the already beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning scenery and conveniently close to Margaret River and its many attractions. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in the heart of nature.

Had a wonderful break over Christmas. The house was perfect for our group. The table tennis table was definitely a hit and kept us entertained for hours. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped, with lots of little extras, like coffee, pods, oils, vinegars and condiments. We really appreciated the Christmas decorations that had been put up for our stay. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Great stay Rod’s communication was great, there if we needed anything but we didn’t House is great, exactly what we wanted for 5 adults and a toddler. Fire made it very cosy and warm throughout our stay with abundance of cut wood for you to use We will look to stay again if available for our next MR stay
