A beautiful, peaceful and special place to stay for a couple of nights.

Wonderful, welcoming hosts who were so friendly. A lovely room with great decor and a great ensuite shower room. The kangaroos came up for a feed mornings and evenings which as amazing and made this place extra-special. The bird life was great too. There was an additional, communal eating area under cover and with heating and BBQ, table and chairs. Each room opened onto a verandah which had their own table and chairs. There was also a large outside communal fridge/freezer.

Very comfortable stay.

The bedroom was nicely decorated and bathroom had all the amenities. The bed was super comfortable.

Unfortunately with WA’s new legislation, they no longer accomodate breakfast.

couples bushland view

lovely setting on the edge of bush land. far enough out of town to be quite, but close enough to drive in and get supplies/dinner.

the property is shared with up to two other couples/guests… so if you’re looking for privacy you might be better elsewhere.

Peaceful, close to nature, and as fantastically clean and comfortable as you can get.

Everything. This is a bushland property surrounded by and visited by nature, which will be your outlook for your stay. At the same time it’s close to Margaret River, Prevelly, Caves Road and wineries etc. The property is super peaceful, the comfort is excellent and the hosts James and Joanna are fantastic- definitely get the full breakfast!

Loved our stay here, there was nothing not to like.

excellent hosts, enjoyed the breakfast cooked to order by chef James coffee by Jo! . ease of parking. highlight for us Norfolk uk folks were the kangaroos on the lawn just outside our door.

Exceptional accommodation. Would go back there in an instant.

The breakfast was amazing, better than any restaurant. We felt special and pampered. A total relaxing place to be. It was out of town which meant it was quiet. In this sort of area you need a car anyway, so this was not an issue.

James and Jo are always warm and welcoming, the rooms are exceptional, clean and comfortable. Waking up in the morning and seeing all the wildlife in the gardens, as you go in for what can only be described as the most incredible breakfast I've ever had, just tops off the whole experience. Hands down our favourite place to stay.

Relaxing stay i peaceful surrounds.

Our hosts Jo and James were very welcoming and made us feel "at home". Good choice for breakfast with home made muesli and all hot meals made while you waited. Very nice room with bush surrounds offering the opportunity for a nice walk and an evening visit from the local kangaroos. Highly recommended.

its serene location and gorgeous setting - divine property

nothing, it was perfect. one suggestion would be the Spa bath needs a wall handle to aid getting in & out, especially after shampooing.

Great guest house in a beautiful part of the world.

James & Jo are wonderful, treat everyone like family and are happy to recommend best places to visit. James is a super cook and the breakfasts are superb. Beautiful garden with kangaroos and exotic birds to greet you every morning. James does a great wine tour and will customise it to suit you. Close to beach and town. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay if you want to get away.

Excellent start for the day with great breakfast and company. Being slightly out of town into natural setting and with only few other visitors made it very relaxing and to be a 'good get-away' place for a few days.

Just wish it was longer … will return .. loved staying here .

The breakfast was fantastic so beautifully presented in the garden room for us … all fresh produce and so much thought gone into everything. Just loved feeding the kangaroos that came in the garden and watching the beautiful birds … certainly paradise found staying here … back to nature . Lastly Joanna and James such wonderful hosts … will certainly return .

We felt spoilt rotten!

The location and the grounds of the guest house are fantastic. Breakfast was beautiful and the hosts were very friendly and generous.

A small fridge inside the room, would also give more table space on top to place the tea/coffee equipment on top.

Beautiful place to get away from it all

Beautiful property, very clean and well maintained. Plenty of local wildlife that came to visit while we were there. Breakfast was OMG good, it's a place we'd like to return to!

Bed was the only let down - don't get me wrong, not overly bad but not the best we've had... spoilt by the previous place we'd stayed at as that had the most comfy bed we've ever been in! But that is the only criticism we had and won't stop us from returning

The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. The property is surrounded by beautiful green bush land and visitors include Kangaroos and beautiful birds.

James and Jo go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the breakfast goodies were amazing !!!
