Charming, classical apartment in quiet area of old town

Excellent location on quiet residential square in Plaka with no restaurants below to disturb you. Old worldly and charming decor. Great balcony overlooking an old church in the square. And yet steps away from everything you want. Coffee shop next door to pick up fresh orange juice in morning. The hostess, Aliki, was wonderful. So helpful with restaurant reservations, airport transfers, ect. We loved this place.

Nothing really. The apartment was on the third floor. We used the little elevator to get our bags up. We were asked to use it sparingly unless absolutely necessary. I think because the neighbours were elderly and require it. This was no problem for us as we’re walkers. If you need it, it’s there.

Fantastic stay in great location. Quiet street amongst all the hubbub.

Great balcony and view. Amazing location. Very comfortable. Lovely host. Hope to stay there again on our next trio to Athens.

While the elevator was not working when we arrived, it got fixed during our stay. Plus our host was very helpful and accommodating about it.

Fabulous break in a gorgeous apartment and in a great location for all that Athens has to offer.

A stunning property in a fabulous location in Plaka. Really didn’t want to leave after a wonderful week. Our host was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and recommend the property to friends and family for future visits.

I was traveling alone so I tried to find accommodation in safe neighborhoods where I can just walk to the main attractions of Athens without using the metro and this place is perfect! Great value. The actual place was as shown in the pictures. There is also an elevator which is really convenient! It is in a really nice area, just few steps and you are on the shopping street of Plaka. I felt really safe in the area. I also booked taxi transfer through Aliki. The driver was really polite, nice, and on-time. Everything went smoothly from checking in to checking out. This place has a really nice cozy vibe and very spacious. It has everything you need!!! I felt right at home. I was greeted by the cleaner since Aliki is not available when I was checking in, but the cleaner was also really nice and welcoming. She helped me with the luggage too! I just loved everything about this place. Would totally recommend this!!! Hopefully, I’ll have a chance to come back to Athens and stay at this place again :)

Ideal base for Athens visit

The host was phenomenal, responsive, and very friendly.

Our arrival coincided with the transportation stick day which impacted our checking time. The host made sure that she was always available to us and on-prem once we arrived.

Beautiful, clean apartment with separate seating area and balcony overlooking a little church. Small kitchen but had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunches including a fridge and kettle. Welcome bottle of wine a real treat. The host was most helpful - thank you. Ideally positioned for all the sites and right next to the beautiful area of Plaka. Apartment was on 3rd floor but there was a lift. Air conditioning worked very well. Had an amazing 4 nights there.

Cute and convenient!

This was a very cute place with extremely easy access to the majority of the major sites in Athens. Right in Plaka, everything was between a 5-10 minute walk. This is perfect, especially in the very hot climate of Athens. Temple of Zeus, Acropolis and museum are such short walks from this place. Also there are so many places to shop and great restaurants nearby. I loved the location and the place itself was very clean and cute. We were also given complementary wine and provided with helpful information about the house and areas nearby. There are tons of books as well about things to do in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the help from Aliki on helping us with transportation from the Ferry and on the last day, to the airport. Amazing customer service and amenities. This was the last place we stayed for our honeymoon and it was awesome with an amazing view of of a church. We were very impressed. We highly recommend. Thank you Aliki!

Lovely!!!

The most perfect apartment right in the thick of it. The location is 10/10! We loved exploring Athens from here, easy to walk to everything. The apartment was very clean, owners left tea/coffee/wine on arrival. The little balcony has great views and morning sun. Great to sit out with a coffee and breakfast. Bed was comfortable and rooms have aircon. Plenty of storage made available. We loved everything about it and would recommend! Perfect for a couple.

Beautiful apartment on great location in cosy neighbourhood. Everything in walking distance.

Very friendly Hostess who also arranged taxi transport from and to the airport with a good and reliable taxi driver. Very comfortable apartment, good bed, well equipped kitchen. Everything in walking distance. Cosy and safe neighbourhood. Supermarket and restaurants nearby.

Nothing. Just a small suggestion: It would have bee nice if there was a hook to put the handheld shower on. :-)

home from home

The apartment is very cosy, it felt like a home from home. the furnishings are beautiful and thoughtful - such as a faux fur blanket on the bed for the slightly colder nights. The location is so wonderful - right next to everything but peaceful, your view is of a beautiful old church in a square and the hills beyond. Aliki, the host, is so warm and helpful - I accidentally locked my passport in the apartment on the last day (you leave the key inside) and she responded to my frantic email straight away and the cleaner was there with a spare key in 15 minutes 😊.

I only have two very small suggestions. One would be to get a fixing so that the shower can be mounted on the wall. The other is to have a small kettle to boil water (for your tea drinking guests!)

The perfect location in Athens...

Great location, quiet in a residential square and nonetheless in the middle of it all. Everything could be reached by foot or public transport, no car needed. The balcony is superb, the interior newly decorated with taste and style. The communication was very easy and fast responses at all times.

Exceptional

Great apartment in the historical heart of Athens, but at the same time quiet, stylish, cozy and lovely decorated. No road noise, and balcony with view on the church. For our case it was perfect option for city tourism. We will no doubt want to come back again. Special thanks to Aliki for hospitality and meeting.

Wi-fi connection was enough for work and conferences, but could be improved if there is a technical possibility.

Amazing flat and location

We loved everything! The charm, style, room layout, balcony, view of the church and location in the heart of Plaka and 200 metres from the entrance to Acropolis / Theatre of Dionysus entrance. This is a much more authentic experience of Athens living than staying in a hotel. Beware of the church bells ringing on Sunday mornings! Air-conditioning units in the living room and bedroom work well.

Everything was perfect for us. Please note that the kitchen is not modern and a little small - but this is part of the charm of authentic Greek living.

Perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is literally in the centre of Plaka but in a very peacefull street. The bed is extremely comfortable and the views of the terrace are beautiful. Aliki was also very helpful :)
