Amazing location with great view!
Super quiet.
The chalet was a bit dated.
The road that takes you down to the chalets is very steep and tricky. The gravel is slippery in spots for the car to go down and back up. It would be nice to get that ashphalted.
But we still very much appreciated our stay.

Location with a view of fjord was very nice. Bathrooms were very clean and nice
Lightning in the room was lacking and room was dimly lite for my taste. The walk to bathroom was uphill and a bit far for those who make frequent nighttime visits.

Taking care of cleanliness.... shoes-off areas...

Very nicely renovated cabin, with a big terrace, overlooking the Geiranger fjord and town.
Great to watch the big ships go by.
Extremely steep hill, so I did not dare to ride my motorcycle to the cottage.
There could be a bit more hooks or cupboards to store clothes. In the master bedroom there is none, so you have to keep your stuff on the floor.
On rainy days the gravel road to the site, feels slippery, at least with a motorbike.

We had a very pleasant stay for one night. Hosts were welcoming and location was nice. Loved that they had motorboats available for rent to a reasonable price so that we could explore the fjord. Facilities were good, clean and easily accesible - overall one of the nicest campings we’ve visited:)

Geir was extremely helpful in all respects and was a pleasure to talk to. The views were also magnificent and a truly special experience.
The beds could have been better - the mattresses could have been thicker and some were so worn out they were sinking into the frames.

Beautiful place overlooking the fjord. No question.
You have to pay extra for linen on your bed. Not super clear upon booking. 100NOK per person. Even more if you want towels. The price may make sense if you stay for several nights but we stayed for one night. That just changed the value for money equation for us.

Super location with a lovely view, and closeness to hikes. The boat to a great hike we were recommended to walk goes from this camping, and the owner who also drives is really nice. The end of the hike path is right at the camping, so we also did not have to walk the 4km in to Geiranger that others had to do.
Nice ans cosy cabin. Liked how clean and warm the bathrooms were (these are shared and located by the reception).
Nice chairs both inside and on the terrace for enjoying the view :)
The most annoying is that one need to pay for shower when the price is already high. There is no hot water in the cabins so washing oneself a little there is not so nice either. Possibility to boil so it works fine for other stuff, but it would be convenient for doing dishes etc if there were hot water. Also a bit bad lightning. Many lamps but weak - not vert annoying but an easy fix!

Sonja and Geir, the hosts, were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional.
One of the highlights was when they informed me in advance about the road closure to Geiranger. Thanks to their timely notification, I was able to plan accordingly and find an alternate route. It saved me a lot of time and hassle, and I really appreciated their thoughtfulness.
Unfortunately, due to the road closure, I arrived very late. However, Sonja and Geir were incredibly understanding and waited for me. Even though it was already 11:30 in the night, they made sure I had everything I needed, including fresh linen. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident.
I can't praise them enough for their attentiveness and willingness to assist me, especially given the late hour. Their exceptional customer service made a huge difference in my overall experience. I felt valued and well taken care of throughout my stay.
I had an unforgettable time exploring the breathtaking surroundings. I highly recommend staying with them if you're in the area.
Thank you, Sonja and Geir, for going above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. I couldn't have asked for better hosts!
