Nestled in Healy, this lovely house for $464 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. About this space 2400 Sq Ft. 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths. 2 Living Rooms, Big Kitchen, Amazing Views The space Our 4-Bedroom / 3.5 Bath Luxury Home with spectacular views and full amenities is the perfect base for any large groups' Denali Adventure. Our home borders the National Park Boundry and is close to all area services and activities. Our 2-story, 4-bedroom, 3.5 bath home was built in 2007. It is modern and spacious. The kitchen, dining and upstairs living area has an open floor plan with spectacular views. Downstairs also has a 2nd living room with 2 queen sofa beds and is a great space to spread out. All the bedrooms are modern and spacious with brand new pillow top beds. The back deck has amazing views, a propane BBQ and there is a private fire pit in your fenced back yard. We are located on 2-acres in a tiny little subdivision off the Parks Hwy. You will really feel like you are living out in the Alaska Wild but there are neighbors around. There is an attached mother-in-law unit with its own private entrance and facilities which is also a vacation rental. You will be staying in the perfect location, a short 15-minute drive to Denali's only Entrance Rd. and less than 1-mile from The Parks Highway and the Town of Healy which has a full-service grocery/liquor store, bars and restaurants and all area activities. Healy is where you want to be, away from the congestion of glitter gulch and all the cruise ship hotels. Our home gives you the feel of being secluded inside the National Park, yet you have all the creature comforts of modern living; a well-stocked large kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, High Speed WIFI, Direct TV on both floors, ATT 4G and a private deck with a BBQ (propane provided). Our housekeepers are the best business, you should expect your unit to be spotless. Please read the hundreds of 5-Star Reviews for our properties. FAQ’s I will email you detailed driving directions and the key code for entry 30 days prior to your arrival. Self-check in any time after 4pm. You must have a rental car to stay at our property. There is plenty of parking and we are very easy to locate. Our property is 4.5 hours north of Anchorage and 2 hours South of Fairbanks. There is only 1-highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks which makes navigation very easy. Follow the mile markers. We recommend you book your park bus tour prior to arrival We recommend taking the Park Bus all the way to East Fork. There is only 1-road, so the least expensive bus takes the same exact route as the most expensive bus. You can book all other activities upon arrival depending on weather and your groups desires. All activity brochures are located in the entry way to the house, and most are nearby and/or can arrange pick up at the house. You can drink our water. We recycle. We provide all linens, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. The Coffee Maker does not need filters and we provide drip coffee and powdered creamer and sugar. From time-to-time people leave condiments and other non-perishable foods but please do not expect anything in the way of food items to be provided. Please bring everything you will need. We provide propane for the BBQ. For larger groups there is 1-other private vacation rental on this property (a 2-bedroom momin-law unit) available for rent. Quiet area and nice view of some mountains. 15 minute drive to the park entrance, town and rafting. Great restaurant close to the house. Great space in the house for our group. 2nd bedroom upstairs has only a half bath across the hall-no shower. We enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house in Healy! Plenty of room for all of us, space to spread out and be alone, or gather together in the huge, well stocked kitchen. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers available, which was an enormous benefit toward the end of our trip! After busy days enjoying as much as we could do in Denali it was perfect to sit on the deck and take in even more beautiful sites, enjoying beers from local breweries. David was fantastic about answering my questions and was spot on in his recommendations of things to do, see and eat. Can't recommend his place high enough, we loved it!

We had an awesome stay! The house had plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner & everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There were some condiments in the fridge which was very helpful because grocery shopping is limited. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. We had a power outage and within a few minutes, someone had checked on us to make sure we were all ok. It was a great location for activities. Only a 15 min drive to Denali and some activity shuttles were able to pick us up in Healy. I wish I could give 6 stars!

The house was spotlessly clean and instructions and directions were clear. Communication with the owner was very easy. The backyard was a beautiful forest with mountains in the beyond. Our family of 13 loved this house. It is very well equipped. We got to enjoy an evening at home with the grill and fire pit. Plenty of room for sleeping and playing. It was only 10 miles from the park. We were surrounded by wilderness yet close to highway access. The laundry was top notch.

We spent several days in Healy on a family vacation - 7 of us in total. The directions provided to the house were spot-on and easy to follow. The house was clean and well-equipped upon arrival. It is incredibly spacious, and even with 7 people we never felt like we were on top of each other. The living space on each floor allowed for the "night owls" to hang out and talk without disturbing the early-to-bed crowd. The double washers/dryers were also utilized by our crowd prior to leaving.
The location is perfect. Maybe 3-4 minutes to the grocery store and a restaurant or 2. Denali Park is a short drive, maybe 10 minutes? A very convenient location overall given the remoteness of the area.
Overall, the property was perfect for us. Large, spacious, comfortable, and convenient. Highly recommend for groups and/or families.

This house is just as advertised. Nice quiet location and only a 20 minute drive to Denali. This house is surrounded by spruce trees and the views of the mountains were beautiful. Plenty of room for our family (6 adults) and we all had our own bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is perfectly represented in the listing. All was as expected. 11 quick miles to the entrance to the National Park and tour operators. The kitchen was well equipped (could use some more drink-ware). Nice view to the mountains from the deck.

We're a big group of 14 people and had two-night stay in David's place. The kitchen is so spacious with full amenities. All bedding and bathing was well-prepared. We all had a nice and happy stay. Thank you David.

David the host, was extremely flexible given the 2 covid postponements in 2020 and 2021. The house is located in a quiet area and has stunning views from the back deck. We got a bonus by seeing some moose near Lester Rd. A couple of items missed getting restocked prior to our arrival, NO PROBLEM David had things resolved in 15 mins. The house was spacious for our group of 9, it was clean, and exactly as listed on the VRBO website. We had a great time and would surely book this property again if we travel back to Denali NP. Thanks David for being such a GREAT HOST.

We highly recommend these houses for vacations. Plenty of space and beautiful accommodations. We had 13 in our group with ages from 5 to 75. We were all very comfortable. The scenery was phenomenal and the kids were able to run freely in the secure back yard. Groceries are close by and the laundry facilities very helpful! Loved it !!

We saw a moose and her calf on the property right by the deck twice! Close enough to park and stores and restaurants (5-15 minute drives) yet far enough away from the busy area to be relaxing. Beautiful mountain views from back deck. Property manager was immediately responsive with a few questions we had. I would say that the carpet in the living room is quite old and worn/rough, as is the upstairs bedroom carpet, really could use a replacement with something more durable, this is the only suggestion for improvement that would have enhanced our enjoyment of this already great property.
