you can hear through the walls its very loud and the parking is tough to get a spot close to the rooms but it has a great view of the mountains and very clean looking hotel
6.0
Nice position, staff fairly friendly. Parking far from room.
8.0
Good, clean place to stay with convenient & very good restaurant. Since it’s on a hill/ bluff, you will have to roll your luggage up or down hills to get to your building. If you are on the second floor, there are no elevators so you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Also parking seems limited & you may have to roll your luggage thru a gravel parking lot to get to your building.

Could not control heat in room
Could hear neighbors and road noise all night
Shuttle to Denali visitor center was nice

Great hotel, walking distance to cruise terminal, restaurants and shopping.

We loved our room (clean, comfortable, nicely furnished), and we had a nice view of the mountains from our balcony. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant in the hotel was very good. The front desk suggested other restaurants nearby and we enjoyed dinner at the Moose-aka and lunch at Denali Doghouse, both a short walk from the hotel. Free shuttle to Denali National Park is convenient, but only runs once an hour and has a two hour gap in service in the afternoon. But other hotels nearby also have shuttles and during the gap, we caught another hotel’s shuttle from Denali Visitor Center and walked back to Denali Bluffs from that other hotel.

Great service and nice location.

Beautiful location. The shuttle was very helpful. The main lodge was a comfortable place to relax. The dining in the mountaineer grill was excellent.

The staff is nice and friendly. Location great - 10 minutes drive to Denali Bus Depot. A much better value than Grand Denali as there are inexpensive food options in pantry and
not the noise from tour busses unloading and loading like the Grand Denali.

View, quaint

We were very unhappy about having to drag our luggage uphill for 10 minutes to get to the room. There were not enough parking spots so we had to walk even further on several occasions. They did not clean the room and we ran out of soap and towels and had to trudge up to the front desk to get more. The restaurant food was mediocre and very expensive. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk people were not friendly or helpful.

The restaurant had a very limited menu, the quality of the food was not good and the staff was surprisingly rude.

Wonderful property! Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Staff unfriendly and inflexible. Check out is at 10am, never heard of that before

The location of the hotel and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. Lot of shuttle services to nearby park and activities are available. Rooms were clean, lot of nearby restaurants, grocery available. Highly recommend to stay here.

The rooms are very basic, on a par with economy motels.
The restaurant has a very limited menu. Prices are outrageous, even for a remote tourist area.
Staff, on the other hand are very friendly and helpful.

This place is a tourist machine. We arrived late and our front desk clerks were inundated with other requests and did the bare amount of getting us checked-in. No orientation, no small chat (which is fine), no making sure we knew what amenities were available or where to get food. Just here's your key and you are at the building on the entire other end of the property... [good luck]. We asked for a late check-out as the standard check-out is an audacious 10AM. I am sure the reason being it is challenging to clean so many units in hard to reach locations but still. It wasn't a difficult request but they have a policy to not honor such requests. Fine. I only needed late checkout as I had a business meeting at 10am and would have been nice to do the zoom on WiFi (3Mbps btw). So we woke up early to be sure to get done with breakfast and be out of the room before my meeting. We were bags in hand walking toward the door at 9am sharp when some male housekeepers knocked on the door "just checking" to be sure we knew that there was no late check-out. Almost as if for asking for a late check-out I had raised a red flag that meant I needed some extra assistance in leaving on time. The buffet at the Grande lodge was great for the view but was a pretty average buffet with oddly fluffy eggs, sausage patties and belgian waffles. They did have Lox and cream cheese with bagels which was amazing. $29.99 per person.

Parking was a pain. If you did not get one of the few spots up top then you had a long walk from the lower level. we spent 3 days there and when we checked we were told no house keeping. Really for what we paid i want house keeping daily.

Air conditioning was broken. Room was full of filthy cigarette smoke. Hotel didn’t care enough as they were sold out. Expedia was not able to help resolve the issue. My biggest mistake was to book the hotel prepaid. Couldn’t even do anything through my credit card company to protect myself as it was late. Denali Wilderness Lodge is your better bet.

Appreciated the cleanliness of the property

We liked the location. Room was to dark and expensive.

I am huge when it comes to reviews. At this property some of the rooms are updated and other rooms are not. We had a room that was updated and it was very nice end unit. My only complaint is the wind was strong that night and you could hear it in the room. It was very loud at times. Otherwise the bed was great and the room was a good size. I would stay at this property again.

Actually checked out after one day due to the sewer smell right outside our room. In addition, the room was so noisy from the walkway to parking lot and room above us.

Outside the rooms there was a noticable sewage smell. Did like that the hotel was very close to Denali Park entrance

The smell of septic tank was bad in the bathroom and the area where my room was located.

There aren’t many choices for places to stay at Denali NP. This hotel was dated and poorly appointed but the shuttle was convenient to get to to the park.

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location for exploring Denali National Park. Beautiful views, great staff, and close to the (small) downtown. My only complaint would be the strict 10am checkout, as we had most of the day remaining, but they did hold our bags. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We would have liked to have the bathroom sink in the bathroom.
We appreciated the nice staff and clean room. They were very helpful. We loved the free shuttle. Everything was organized and timely! Lights were not bright enough.

The rooms are compact but otherwise very good. The restaurant on the premises has a decent menu and is wonderfully convenient. Shops and other dining options are in easy walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The disappointing part was the restaurant. We were expecting good seafood at a resort of that size. The food was dry and overcooked. Great place to stay but eat somewhere else.

Very pleasant and close to Denali. Great water pressure and hot water, quiet, ac works great. It would be my go to to stay here again if I was in Denali again

The room was very noisy. Could hear adjacent room occupants urinating in toilet.

Our room is very modern and spacious with the perfect Mountain View. room service is just right and anything we need is just one phone text to the reception. We can walk to the town center for groceries and parking is very easy. The property is not to big and not too small. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place for Denali! Thanks
