Convenient transportation from hotel to train station. The hotel is about 800 feet up a steep hill from the main road. You need to be in shape to climb to/from the main road to the hotel.

I’m glad I had only booked a one night stay here. It was adequate for a single night, but I would not recommend to a friend. Rooms are dated, and the whole cabin was more rustic than pictured in photographs. The bathroom was small and the only toiletry provided was a single bar of soap.
We booked a king bed with pull out sofa and there was a problem with the sofa so they were going to put a roll out bed in the room and we said fine. Then he switched us to a room he said was a Queen and double bed, and we said fine. When we got to the room it was 2 doubles.

Overall I could not ask for better place to stay. The view is breathless !!

Nice spot overall.

Exceeded my expectations! The cabins were adorable with lots of privacy, clean rooms, comfortable beds and amazing views! The management and staff were excellent and went above and beyond! They booked my excursions, helped with luggage transport, shuttled us to and from the train station, provided coffees and waters in the rooms, happy hour in the evening and recommended local restaurants. Looking forward to returning next summer and extending my stay!

The view wss amazing! Room was clean, bed comfortable. The many steps to our room was too much for us, but they were gracious enough to pick us up from the parking lot in a golf cart. Very kind staff.

Fun to stay in our own cabin. Few hiccups with the plumbing since its the end of the season but we got hang of it. Short walk down to the boardwalk where restaurants/shops are. Easy van into park. We came from thevtrain and they were waiting for us. No need for a car. Front desk was very helpful with tips on park

Charming! Lots of flowers and landscaping around the whole property. Wonderful restaurant, easy walk to the local 'boardwalk' of shops and eating places and easy drive to Denali NP. Very helpful and friendly staff. But it is on a hill. Lots of stairs and walking. Do not recommend for travelers with disabilities.

We were on our honeymoon and it was perfect. We loved our room and how cute it was, we had amazing views, and it was a great location in Denali Village.

Totes adorbs little cabin. Fantastic view, and unbelievably great restaurant onsite. My only complaint, if you can call it that, was the price, which seemed pretty high for the size/appointments

I like that they had coolers for use… and ice for them😊

Loved our individual cabin with a king bed, couch and bathroom, gorgeous views of the valley!

Cabin was great!

Initially, the place is remote and very ordinary. The cabins are VERY basic, they only provide a small piece of soap unless you ask; our front window was broken (both the glass and handle); nails were sticking out of the bathroom wood; and you need a ride to get up hill to the room. Too remote and sparse for our taste.

Parking lot was used by restaurant patrons so you had to wait for the restaurant to close to find parking. Our cabin's heater did not work and only one extra blanket. It was cold. To get to the little cabin you had to travel numerous stairs so not senior or handicap friendly. Jacuzzi and sauna were not working.

The positive is proximity to the park. The major negative is the condition of the classic cabins. The shower and toilet are add-on and are not level or sealed - you can see light coming through the wall. The door to the cabin would only latch if you pressed down on the handle and the dead-bolt would not engage. Light, rain, bugs could enter around the top of the door - it did not seal.

The cabin was very cute. Water for the showers were warm, not really hot but not cold either. Golf carts weren’t always available for rides up and down the mountain but if your mobility is good you should be fine with going up and down the hill or stairs. Staff was super nice and the location was perfect as there were stores and restaurants around so never went without anything. Overall the stay was great and would stay again.

It was so nice to have an individual cabin with chairs outside and a cooler and ice to keep extra food and drinks inside. The walk down the hill was long but getting a ride up by just calling the front desk was great.

Great place with amazing views! Clean and cozy. Be sure to note if you need a lower cabin or yoy may be walking. Although the staff is very good about taking you around in the golf cart.

I liked the location of Denali crows nest, on the same side of the street as the shops. The staff was helpful and friendly. The view was beautiful, we stayed on the 4th level and it was very peaceful. For those who have trouble with steps they have a golf cart that will take you up and down as needed. They have a to-go breakfast for those on early excursions, which we ordered at checkin. Unfortunately what was offered and what we given were very different. The staff was understanding and took the charge off of our bill. We did not get to try their restaurant/bar as they were closed the days we were there. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it to a friend and stay there again.

I would not recommend staying at Crow’s Nest. We paid over $350per night to say at this cabin hotel, which is a ridiculous price for what it is.
It is high up a very steep hill, though there are also 100s of stairs you can take from the bottom. If you don’t have a car and are unwilling to walk you are completely dependent on the shuttle to get anywhere. There is no Uber around Denali. It is highly inconvenient, and one night my husband and I called more than 30 times until he finally walked up the stairs to find out their phone wasn’t working.
The cabins are on various levels, some up flights of stairs. The rooms are very rustic and include one soap by the sink but no shampoo. The sink is by the bed, so if there is anyone else in the room with you you will wake them up washing up or getting ready.
A problem that plagued us all three days, was getting into the room. The key to our room either did not work and/or the door required brute strength to open. You could not quietly open or close the door which meant if one person was asleep the other person had to stay in the room so as not to awaken them. We also needed to make sure we were in the room by 10 when the front desk closed in case the key didn’t work.
The restaurant on the premises is only open for dinner.
Our last day we ventured across the street to the Denali Princess, which was a beautiful resort that was slightly more expensive. To say that our experience in the area would have been different

The staff was wonderful.each person from the initial contact with reservations to the shuttle to check in and throughout our stay was welcoming and attentive. They offered great suggestions and did all they could to accommodate our needs. The cabins were well maintained for their age and the beds were comfortable. This is a great property to get a real sense of Alaska and Denali.

This place is dirty and noisy. Constant trick, bus and railroad traffic. Mice feces and cobwebs and smell of pet urine. Sink stopper didn’t work. Screens let in mosquitoes. I do have pictures to upload. Terrible stay with no sleep. Emailed manager with no response back.

The septic system overflowed into the rooms during our stay. Neither the hotel, nor hotels.com refunded any of our booking.
The next morning an emergency septic vaccine truck arrived. Yet, that was our checkout day.
Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service & non-hygienic experience, especially during Covid!

The individual cabins at the property were really neat, and the views from the hillside location were great. The property also did a great job of dealing with the challenges that the pandemic has brought. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the Denali area.

Unique log cabins- very rustic. Unfortunately, restaurant & amenities like hot tub were closed due to lack of employees. They did their best, but woefully understaffed

Cute little cabin. My first time staying in a cabin was amazing. They are short-staffed but amazing at customer service. The view is the cherry on top for your stay.

It was quite and cozy tucked away in the trees with some Mountain View. Staff were very friendly. I don’t remember all the names. The gal in the office was friendly and helpful. Isaac in the bar was friendly and welcoming. Excellent service and nice place to stay.

Great location, right up the hill from the town of Denali. The staff was very friendly and took good care of us. They have a very nice outdoor hot tub with an amazing view. They closed down the restaurant early which we didn’t know was going to happen when we booked this hotel. Finding a place to eat was a challenge. The bed was super comfy. Expect lots of stairs to your room which we enjoyed the workout.

I cannot say enough good about this hotel! It was so wonderful. The staff was warm and accommodating. The room was adorable! The shuttle made everything so convenient. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. Even though the season was coming to a close and they said they were short staffed we could not tell. The hotel restaurant was shut down due to Covid, but they made up for it by taking us to local restaurants more than the normal shuttle ran. Our stay was truly magnificent. Beautiful property and superior customer service from every single member of staff.
