About this house rental
Nestled in Watkins Glen, this charming house for $544 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This charming house has wonderful sweeping views of Seneca Lake! A 10 minute convenient walk along the lake to downtown Watkins Glen restaurants, bars, shops and other destinations. The house has a sitting room, a living room with You Tube TV, Bose Radio and games, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. You can sleep 7,8 comfortably in this home, 10 MAX. (PLEASE NOTE: we may be renovating in 2025 to alter sleeping arrangements to 8 MAX, please inquire) Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a full sized bed in each. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and another bedroom we call a bunk room with a queen size bed AND two twin beds that includes it's own bathroom. This house is great for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake and wineries in the area, explore the Village, the Watkins Glen State Park, the plentiful hiking, beautiful waterfalls or Watkins Glen International Race Track. Spend the exploring the beautiful finger lakes and then relax on the outdoor deck with a glass of wine overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake. Ample parking with a driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars. We can forward all kinds of info to you via this app upon request and will have a information available to you including suggestions for many of the areas points of interests. (Restaurants, Wineries, Bars, Water activities and short road trips). We have enjoyed seven seasons as vacation rental owners and look forward to hosting visitors this 2024 season at Green Point Getaway! Julie and Joe

You never know how the weather will be in Fingerlakes in the fall. We went from 75 degrees on Friday to 40s on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised this home had something for any season. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake we could have coffee and drinks on in the morning. At night we sat outside and enjoyed the firepit with provided blankets for outside. Julie had helpful labels all over the house answering any question before we had it. Comfortable bedrooms and a small but efficient kitchen. We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday with a few friends and we all enjoyed our stay. Took in a few wineries and walked downtown for dinner. Perfect location for anything you may choose to do in town or on the lake. Thanks for your hospitality and the warm welcome! -Donna & Greg

What a lovely place for a girl trip! Julie was a great host. Communication was prompt, the house was clean, it had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, and the view was fabulous! The outdoor space was a real treat. Even in the rain we were able to be outside on the covered porch.
The location was also perfect...just far enough from all the town activity but close enough to walk where ever we wanted to go.
We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Julie for sharing your home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It is located close to everything and walking distance from town. It is exactly as pictured, squeaky clean and stocked with everything you might need! The owner has obviously put a lot of thought into every detail. Everything is labeled and well organized, and the owner has provided lots of recommendations on things to do, where to eat, wineries to visit, etc. We had a blast sitting by the firepit, drinking wine, and catching up. This is one of the most thoughtfully stocked VRBOs I have ever visited, and I 100% recommend it.

Where to begin? If you are going to enjoy a vacation near Seneca Lake with friends or family, this is the place! Roomy, comfortable, clean, well laid out, great lake views, well furnished, -- and I could go on!
The owner communicates clearly and promptly. She seems to have thought about pretty much everything.

We had an amazing bachelorette weekend staying at Julie’s home! It had everything to accommodate us and we loved that everything was labeled and easy to use! We loved the view and sitting by the fire pit and having fun conversations about marriage and advice! The location was awesome and so close to downtown, super convenient! The beds were super comfy and we all loved the look of the upstairs bathroom! Definitely would come stay again at Julie’s home! Truly a special place!

The property has a beautiful view of the lake and a wonderful outdoor table and a fire pit with chairs. There is also a ton of info on things to do in the area and signs everywhere in the house to help you find things. A really wonderful house and an amazing host. We definitely plan on staying here again!

The house was really wonderful, with so many personal touches that made our stay so welcoming and special. Julie, the host, was absolutely fantastic in providing so many details on restaurants, places to go, the best Vineyards. etc… and she answered all of my questions in the few months prior when I was planning our trip. They were seven ladies in our group and we all had a very comfortable stay, the beds were wonderful, and the lake view was gorgeous. The location was perfect as we were able to take a 15 minute walk to town for any restaurants or shops, and located centrally to many of the vineyards that we wanted to visit. I would very highly recommend this house for rental if you’re visiting the Finger Lakes.

Perfect is the only word to describe our stay. The house is adorable, clean and thoughtfully stocked. There are so many thoughtful touches and Julie’s communication made everything welcoming and as easy as could be. We had plenty of room for our group of 4 friends, and hardly left the house all weekend, it was that warm and comfortable. It’s a great place and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Myself and 2 friends stayed for 3 nights. We loved the house, clean and organized. They really have thought of everything. Sitting out front watching the boats on the lake was our favorite thing to do. Relaxing and beautiful. Very close to many restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay here again.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Julie was absolutely amazing!!! I have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and this was by far the best one I have ever stayed in. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and all the extras you could possibly think of. The view is wonderful. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting outside.
The gorge at Watkins Glen is a must. Breathtaking views!

Julie the host prior to our stay was fantastic with giving me information about wineries and transportation for around lake Seneca! All of her recommendations were right on and we had a fun time on our wine tour! The house was super clean and Julie had everything labeled clearly and had great directions for the house. The view was incredible of the lake and the house set up worked out great for all of us. The sheets and beds were very comfortable and the location of the house was very convenient! I will definitely want to stay again and recommending this place to friends and family! Thanks for a great stay!!

We loved our stay so much. Beautiful views, very comfortable home with everything we needed and more! Everything was clearly labeled which is such a huge plus, she even had sticks to roast marshmallows! The owner clearly knows the area and all it has to offer. She gave us so many great options for activities. My daughter is a Vegan, and the owner provided a great restaurant option in town. Best rental experience we've ever had.

We were a group of 6 friends meeting up for a reunion, and are so happy we picked this house! There were plenty of comfortable beds, living space, and excellent outdoor porch/patio area. We had the absolute best time. The house is in immaculate condition given its lakeview and age. The gardens, condition of the home, and property are very well taken care of.
Julie is an excellent host. Very easy to communicate with, and has thought of absolutely everything. The kitchen is well stocked, everything in the house is easily labeled, and she greeted us with a personalized note and bottle of wine!
Prior to our trip, she gave us excellent recommendations about wineries in the area and a driver service.
If we come back to Watkin's Glen, I absolutely know where we will be looking to stay.

The house was perfect for our family of 8 people. The house was clean and there was a generous amount of all supplies. The morning sunrise over the lake was beautiful and the large deck and fire pit were fantastic. All bedding and towels were provided. Watkins Glen was a lovely town and we would hope to stay here in the future.

Truly one of the best home rentals I’ve experienced. Beautiful views, friendly neighbors, and a relaxing setting.
Julie was meticulously organized with labels that made it easy to figure out where everything was at a glance.
She also made fantastic recommendations for wine tours And driver service.
We were in town for a race event which is generally a stressful experience in of itself, but our experience in this house allowed us relax such that race day was no big deal.
Will be back in short order.

My 3 friends and I very much enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time in playing games at the dining table and chatting in the small room with a wonderful view of the lake. We were on a "Girl's Weekend" and found this beautiful home right on Seneca Lake. The view was perfect from the house and everything was clean. Julie was very helpful with all of her recommendations for everything in the area. The house was so inviting. We absolutely loved our time at Julie’s property. We travelled up to Watkins Glen for my parents 60th birthday celebration. Julie gave us a ton of recommendations for things to do and places to book through. It made the planning process a breeze. Her house was fully stocked with everything we would need, and she was super responsive if we had any questions about where anything was. The view out to the lake was beautiful, and we loved hanging by the campfire at night. It was a short walk to downtown, so we were able to walk to dinner both nights.
