Oh my!!

Staff was pleasant

Carpet was horrible, rust in shower, we stayed 4 nights and our trash was never removed, we had to ask for towels. We could not recommend nor would we stay again

Moldy stench and filthy .

If I could give less than a star, I would. This just has to be the filthiest place that we have ever stayed at. It's presentation on the internet is misleading. We booked the room while on our way to the hotel. Unfortunately, we booked 2 nights, un- cancelable. It was the weekend and pretty much everything else was booked, so we stayed. We stayed in room # 7 which was in the back building. The room reaked of room freshener, and after that smell subsided, the true odor came through... a moldy and rotten stench. The floors haven't been washed in...EVER. I cleaned the spots in front of the beds were our feet would hit the floor. The soap holders at the sink have most likely never been cleaned. We lined the bathroom floor with towels to step on. The floor in the bathroom was soft and wobbly from, I assume, the mold that has festered underneath. The entire room was a health Hazzard. I don't recommend this hotel.

Ok as there are not major affordable hotels in the area.

the location was great if you wanted to just walk around town or go to the main park.

The property needs work. We stayed in the back motel portion. Beds were not comfortable. Rug was stained, bathroom needed work. We didn’t even feel comfortable using the shower.

A very welcoming place to stay.

The location was amazing. We could walk to the park as well as the pier. The ice cream and pizza were amazing. Rockers on front porch. A living room and solarium to hang out on rainy days.

Nothing. We stayed in the inn which is an old building. Very charming.

Convenient, comfortable - far exeeded our expectations at a very reasonable price.

The motel is located on the main street in the downtown. We were able to walk to the Watkins Glen State Park and easily tour the gorge. This is a big plus if you are intending to hike the gorge and you will save the $10 parking fee at the park. There were lots of good restaurants within walking distance. There is an outdoor pizza restaurant on the premises where you can eat your pizza at tables at a shaded patio and watch the pedestrians and traffic go by. There is also an ice cream parlor that seemed very popular in the building. Customers can sit in comfy chairs by the lawn to eat their ice cream. Although, the motel is on the main street, our room was quiet. We were pleasantly surprised by how large and bright our room was. We were able to park right beside our room.

Wonderful place to stay beside Watkins Glen State Park

The location and the easy checkin-checkout process. It is a wonderful place just beside the Watkins Glen state park.

This motel is perfect place to stay if you are going to Watkins Glen multiple times on your stay.

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to Watkins Glen, which was a two block walk. This was perfect! Everyone in my group loved that we could come and go and not have to worry about parking. There are several restaurants in walking distance as well.

On a personal note, I have to do a little work when I travel. There was no space at the motel for me to go and work. I managed and this was the only negative aspect for me.

We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Location was very convenient…easy walking distance to restaurants and the Watkins Glen State Park. The management was very accommodating and helpful, and housekeeping went out of her way to make us comfortable.

We would stay here again.

This was a small local hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but clean. Perfect for a short stay!

Couldn't work the coffee machine without assistance. A small hand towel rack in bathroom would have been nice. Otherwise, no complaints

Disappointing

Great location, staff member that texted the room information was very nice and helpful.

Very outdated, dust balls and someones party wrist band under the bed. It really needs update and better cleaning.

Nice but not worth that much money

Great location and easy checkin and check out!

The room smelled musty and bothered my asthma all night. Room could use some updating. Wifi did not work which was a bummer for us.
