The fitness room/gym and clubhouse are closed until further notice.*** An upstairs Legacy Villas studio with a king bed, mini-bar, fireplace, full bathroom and private balcony will make your next stay in La Quinta comfortable and enjoyable. The bedroom opens to a private balcony overlooking a fountain and interior courtyard within the Legacy Villas community. The bedroom provides ample living space with a closet, desk and chest of drawers. The mini-bar contains a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Disposable utensils and dishware are located in a cabinet above the mini-bar. The bathroom has a shower and a separate soaking tub with adequate linens for use during your stay. The condo is a short-walk to the community fitness center, clubhouse, Legacy Grille and community pool and spa. The villa can be combined with LV102 (Upstairs One Bedroom Legacy Villas Delight) to create a spacious two bedroom condo with two master suites (subject to availability). The vacation villa is located at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Legacy Villas is a community of 280 resort condominiums and townhomes. The community is nestled in a mountain cove on the western side of La Quinta with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate mountains throughout the property. Enjoy 12 saltwater pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and a community clubhouse and barbeque. Legacy Villas is a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The community is a 5-10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and only a short drive from Old Town La Quinta, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the Indio Polo Grounds and numerous other desert attractions. La Quinta is home to over 30 public and private golf courses. The PGA Tour's Humana Challenge is hosted at several of the city's courses each January. The BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament is hosted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden every March; only a 10-15 minute drive from a majority of our properties in the city. Don't forget the Riverside County Fair and Date Festival in February, La Quinta Arts Festival in March and the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals in April. The Coachella Valley is a wonderful destination for outdoor adventure in all seasons. This vacation villa is the perfect place for your next visit to the California desert! Legacy Villas is beautiful grounds but this unit is mediocre at best. Shabby around the edges and adjoins another room that was incredibly loud.

The location here was fine for me. Once I got into the unit the large trashcan near the hamper was completely full and had not been emptied. The Internet did not work and I could not get it reset. I sent multiple messages and made four or five phone calls. Staff was not able to fix the Internet but gave me a secondary connection that worked during the day but it did not work at night. Of course this meant I could not connect to Netflix and other things on the television that required Internet.

The desk chair was broken and was not able to be used. Due to the fact that management was not responsive to the calls or messages sent no one helped me as it’s related to the trash rattling air conditioning broken chair. I feel most bad for the owner of the unit as the management failed them and me the gas this time. I have rentals with management companies that are certainly more responsive.

Wonderful stay! The property and it’s amenities are fabulous, we felt like we were at an exclusive resort. The room setup was perfect and what a treat to sit out on the balcony with a cup of coffee listening to the fountains and watching the palm trees sway. We will definitely be coming back!

Love the area
We love Legacy Villas; it’s a beautiful area. This particular one is in a great location overlooking a fountain. Cons: some maintenance issues that tell me the property manager is overwhelmed, but trying. The door connecting it to the unit next door is thin, so dealt with neighbor noise. I would not suggest a studio again.

Stay review
The location and grounds are perfect. The condo was ok. Furnishings are old and outdated. Under the bed was disgusting! There was enough dust under there to fill a dust pan. Clearly the owner doesn't check that the cleaning crew does their job. Then my daughter returns to the area after being gone so has friends locally but she isn't allowed even a visitor? That's ridiculous. Definately won't be recommending this place or returning to stay.

We are having a house built and needed to get away. We found the Villas in La Quinta for a good price. We ended up staying two weeks. The security is excellent! The pools, grounds and clubhouse immaculate. The studio room was perfect and the community barbecue station was perfect.

Everything was clean, comfortable and as advertised except the AC was extremely loud, with a vibrating metal sound. Do not rent this property without the owner’s assurance it has been corrected. And the shower drain was clogged. Minor point, but needs attention as well.

Dislikes: car parking limited beside apartment. Not suitable for anyone travelling with larger suitcase. Coffee maker provided but only paper cups and plastic cutlery available no crockery. Bathroom outside bedroom. Poor soundproofing could hear neighbours clearly.

This property is located in a beautiful gated community, with lush landscaping and lots of fountains and pools. We even got to sample a couple of grapefruits from the trees on the property. It backs up to the foot of the mountains, which we could easily walk to. The room itself was very adequate for what we needed. Nice bed, spacious bathroom and shower. The balcony was a good size. The reservation was pretty easy once we confirmed. We booked through Expedia and had a little confusion on the payment, but after calling it was easily resolved. Overall we highly recommend, it was a beautiful location that was very reasonably priced. And close to the Tennis Garden, which is why we were in town.

We were beyond impressed with the beauty and peacefulness of the Legacy Villas complex. This place feels no different than a regular resort, with several pools, a hammock grove, an outdoor fireplace, fitness center, etc. The room has everything we needed, and we loved the balcony and fireplace. The grounds are truly beautiful. One note - we needed more instructions for arriving late at night - we were not expecting the gate, and the guard wasn't there at first. more direction on that process would be nice.
