Nestled in Point Lookout, this lovely house for $535 per night is a great option for your next break. Straddie Beach House 1 is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house situated in a desirable Point Lookout location. Located a 2-minute walk from Home Beach and a 400m walk to the Stradbroke Island Hotel, it is convenient for all your holiday fun. The house is designed to sleep a maximum of 10 people which makes it ideal for two families to stay. The fully equiped kitchen has all of the essentials along with a dishwasher, microwave and Kitchenaid Nespresso Coffee Machine. We also supply pantry staples (coffee pods, tea, olive oil, plain flour etc) The 2 bathrooms are also stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There are ceiling fans in the living, dining and bedrooms and the house is fully insect screened. There are two deck areas for entertaining with a barbeque located on the upper level deck. There is a laundry with a washing machine and clothes dryer. The house offers free wifi and two smart televisions. The upstairs living room television also has Foxtel. The house is toddler friendly with slide in timber barriers to the top & bottom of the stairwell as well as a highchair. The house is pet friendly so please enquire regarding bringing your pet along. We want you to enjoy all that Straddle has to offer so we are happy to extend check out time on the day of your departure until 3pm, subject to our booking calendar. Should you like an extended check out time please request this the week before your arrival and I will advise if this is possible. Extended check out time is not available in peak/holiday seasons.

Loved it! Day one feeling pretty stressed from a busy year at work. Day two totally relaxed! Best holiday ever. These were comments my son and wife who stayed in the property told me. I organised the holiday for my son’s 50 th. The owner of the house was so helpful and supportive. Cheers Anne

We had the most magical holiday ever at Straddie beach house. There was enough room for two families. The house is very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were amazing and the beds were very comfortable. So close to the beach and a sturdy cart thoughtfully provided to pull our stuff down there. Also you could walk to the pub. The two decks were great as the kids could have one and the adults have the other. Our host gave us wonderfully clear instructions and was very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Thanks very much for this awesome accomodation. I have previously stayed in this house and we couldnt fault it in any way. Great location not too far away from the pub/ beach and walks. Check in process was simple and easy and amenities and bedrooms are a great layout for larger groups. Would 100% recommend and would stay a 3rd time!

Fabulous location and a typical Straddie style holiday house. We would stay again if there were some additions like air conditioning, fixing the outdoor shower which is completely overgrown but still works, some general maintenance/clean up, the home is older and in need of some TLC in the bathroom downstairs etc. Overall we had a lovely weekend but for the price we just would love some of those things taken care of if we stayed again.

We had a family gathering at this property (Feb 2023). Kristen was fabulous to deal with, very clear with the instructions and easy to communicate with. Excellent sleeping set up with 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom downstairs, plus a bedroom / ensuite upstairs. A good size deck with bbq on the top floor, same level as lounge room & kitchen. Ideal location, very short walk to the beach and a easy walk to the Straddie Hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Duncan & Lisa

We had a fantastic stay at the Straddie Beach House. The location is amazing, close to the main and cylinder beaches, and local pub. The house is spacious and nicely designed! Lots of light and different spaces for quiet time and time together. We loved it!

This is an ideal stay for those with small indoor pets or children. Beautiful house, loved the ideal location at point lookout. Close to rental scooters for hire. Within walking distance of several beaches. Would absolutely stay here again, on a quiet relaxed street. Had my 2 Jack Russells with me, who had the best time. Had access to baby gates for my blind Jack with no eyes. To ensure he didn't fall down the stairs. Thank you again.

Unfortunately my wife fell on the lower internal stairs and we ended up at dunich hospital with 2 possible fractured ankles. I really think if a railing was fitted this could have been avoided.

We had a nice stay, it was great to be able to bring our dog and easily walk to a lovely dog friendly beach. Kristen the owner is very easy to deal with and our first ever trip to Minjerribah/Stradbroke Island was a big success.

Booked a year in advance, the owners were very accommodating. Had 4 of our party cancel at the last minute and the house was comfortable. Close to the beach was terrific.

Great location, plenty of bedrooms. Good beach supplies. Could be improved by culling redundant kitchenware. Would also have been nice to have somewhere to lounge outside e.g. daybed on lower balcony rather than a 3rd dining table.
