Comfy in Broadfield

Quiet but close to amenities. Clean comfortable well equipped studio. Friendly hosts. Large breakfast.

It suited our needs but wd love to come back on a summers day

Lovely, we were greeted by our host on arrival. Breakfast was lovely and it was lovely and warm.on arrival too.

We felt there cd have been some solar lighting up the drive to see where we were going and around the area in which we were to park our car. We cdnt see a thing. Sadly we cdnt get the bed side lights to work even plugging them in and the only other lighting was way across the room. Other than that very comfy and very roomy

Cleanliness, fully equipped kitchen, continental breakfast

First night there was a magnitude of noise coming from upstairs but after I messaged the host it quietened down but the next night Unfortunately we could hear every foot step coming from upstairs - a lot of walking around, and right up until 11pm so as people who like to be in bed early, this was difficult to deal with.

Location was great. We met friends/family in both Christchurch and Rolleston. Breakfast was a nice touch. Thank you.

My GPS needed to be updated which made finding the place a little difficult the first time. No fault of the hosts at all.

Superb

Hosts very friendly, we arrived at Christchurch early in the morning and could leave our luggage even before check in time, allowing us to visit Christchurch without luggage in the car. Very nice and quiet location outside town, but easy to find.

It provided everything we wanted and we would use this accommodation again.

It was lovely to be in the country, very quiet. Breakfast was great. Towels were new and fluffy. Very clean, big unit. Owner was very friendly.

Was a little more “ out of the way” than we expected, but this was due to State Highway changes. Once we knew where to go, it was fine. Very easy to get into Rolleston or Highway South, takes a little longer to get back to Christchurch.

Broadfield Stay

Everything was perfect. Best place to stay if visiting Christchurch. By adding smart TV and closed lid bin for kitchen will make it even more fabulous.

Wonderful friendly hosts. Accommodation felt like a home away from home, not like a motel.

Country location, wonderfully peaceful. Large area to enjoy lying on the carpet with the sun streaming in! Loved the "normal" things - towels that had dried on a line outside rather than white fluffy ones that had been bleached and dried mechanically. Same with the sheets. Loved the big share bag of coffee in the fridge and the share containers of shampoo, conditioner etc. At last, common sense prevails!! Mary went the extra mile for us - greatly appreciated! Very memorable accommodation and hosts. I hope we get to come back and stay again

Perfect for our requirements, very quiet and relaxing.

Good selection of breakfast items nicely presented. Very nice kitchen and bathroom in a spacious apartment set in park like surroundings - what more could you want.

Great 3 different selections

Towels smelt a bit musty . Plug by heater was a bit dodgy my hairdryer kept turning on and off when using and bottom plug didn’t work

Home away from home in the country side

We Had a lovely stay highly recommend. Mary and John are great hosts so welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. Broadfield is a great little place in the country side for getaway not far from shops and restaurants. Super toasty and warm, comfy beds, great shower, clean and tidy has everything you need for that getaway. My boys 7 and 4 loved waking up in the country side too seeing the cows, sheep and cute little kitten plus a random duck.

Nothing we where very happy with the accommodation and our stay will defiantly return.
