The views from the property. We could lie in bed and see the sea although better experienced sitting outside in the garden. The breakfasts were also a delight.
Maybe a little remote but that was also a positive as the views were incredible.

Big clean room in flat and private bathroom in the appartement. There was a common room with TV and board games as well as a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The patio was really nice with seaview and with good weather you can even enjoy breakfast outside. Paula and Johan were great hosts and helpful with finding local a tour guide.

Johan and Paula were exceptionally nice people and the breakfast they made was fresh and high quality. The freshly baked products were especially wonderful. It helps that the location was extraordinary.

If you want to find paradise, look no further. We sat outside, having an amazing breakfast, prepared by our incredible hosts, Johan and Paula, and saw the humpback whale swimming in the bay in front of us. You think I am making this up? Nope. It was just like this. This is an awesome place to experience the friendliest hosts ever and to have all the beauty of Canadian nature and wildlife in front of you. We cannot wait to go back.
Are you kidding? This place is paradise.

Great and hearty breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent. We just loved Paula's muffins and suggested to her that she should be selling them. The view, location, the outdoor sitting areas, the bed, and the owners were great. The owners were completely unobtrusive, but they were around if you need them (which we didn't.)
Nothing!

At Frigon B&B you very soon feel more like a friend than as a paying guest. Johan and Paula are great hosts, absolut friendly and they know what hospitality means. The view from the pergola is amazing and with some luck you see bald eagles picking up the fishbones directly from the garden. The varied breakfast is super tasty.
If you plan a fishing trip, let Johan organise it with his neighbour John and you won't regret it.
The few little issues we had were solved promptely so nothing to complain about.

The location is awesome. Right on the water and walking distance to pizza place, coffee shop and the marina. The breakfast served every morning was more than we could finish and very tasty. Port Alice is a real gem and I recommend everyone to visit to experience the sleepy town amongst the backdrop of some awesome nature excursions. When you do come, you have to stay at Frigon Bed and Breakfast.
The bugs loved me ( my hubby was spared though). So make sure when you come to bring some bug spray.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Frigon. We were fortunate with weather so could enjoy the spectacular breakfasts in the gazebo. We shared a kitchen for other meals with the other room. An important consideration since there aren't any restaurants in Port Alice. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed and then some. Also the BBQ in the gazebo worked well. We really enjoyed talking to our hosts. We now want to visit the Faroe Islands.
We weren't aware that there aren't any restaurants in Port Alice. We should have asked but it would have been handy if that was included in the information that was sent to us. (There is a chance it was and we missed it.) However, it wasn't really a problem since there is both a grocery store and liquor store so we could get most everything we needed.

This is a delightful location in a remote part of BC. It is quiet, restful, yet offers an array of opportunities to recreate. The hosts are both charming and knowledgeable. They provide excellent service.
Everything worked.

The access to kayaks was amazing and the breakfasts were delicious. Having access to the bbq and patio was helpful since the town has next to no dining options.

The hosts went far beyond expectations for breakfast! It was incredible. Beautiful location right on the waterfront with lovely flower gardens and a gazebo with stunning views.

The bed is sooo comfortable. The food fantastic and we loved the space that we had.
Kitchen, living room, wood stove, gazebo all with beautiful views.
I have nothing negative to say about this property.

This B&B is one of my new favourite locations. Sitting right on the water, the place has a beautiful pagoda and an uncovered deck side-by-side where you can easily spend hours reading and watching the mountains and water. The B&B is very large with the owners upstairs - but felt very private and quiet.
Breakfast was one of our favourite experiences - beautiful homemade scones and jams, as well as eggs and bacon. Breakfast on the deck watching eagles fish and sea otters swim is an experience we will never forget.
Johan is super friendly and accomodating, greeting us as we arrived and showing us everything we needed to know and then left us to our relaxing break.
Robes and slippers were a beautiful touch and could have spent the whole stay lounging in these if we didn't have hikes and tours booked.
Cannot recommend this location enough! Not only didn't disappoint; but exceeded our expectations!
Nothing; absolutely nothing! I am going to return. ;D

Johan and Paula are great hosts! Very sympathetic and made us feel at home immediately! Breakfast was awesome. Freshly baked scones, jam, cheese, fruit, eggs, sausage, joghurt and more! We would have loved to stay longer!!!
I highly recommend their BnB!!!
