About this condo rental
Nestled in Seneca, this lovely condo for $255 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. BIG MAY & JUNE DISCOUNT! 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condo with a small loft located in the town of Seneca SC. Views of beautiful Lake Keowee from 2 balconies and a cozy screened-in porch. The unit has Wi-Fi, nice large outdoor swimming pool with grilling area and boat slip that can be made available. This small quiet complex is conveniently located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains; only seven miles from Clemson University. Clemson is not just a quaint college town known for academics and sports; but also home of the John E. Walker Senior Championship Golf Course. We are a fifteen minute drive to numerous trails, scenic waterfalls and historic sites. Restaurants, grocery stores and Ram Cat Alley/downtown Seneca are literary minutes away. The Keowee Marina is five minutes down the road where you can rent a boat or grab a refreshment at the Tiki Hut lakeside bar. Keowee is one of the prettiest lakes in the Southeast with over 300 miles of pristine shoreline. To enjoy a longer stay our rates are significantly discounted. When making a reservation please indicate if you will also be needing a boat slip. No pets. But in case someone has an allergy; our short haired dog joins us at the lake.

This place was BEAUTIFUL and well stocked!!. However... the reason I feel compelled to lower my rating is my husband and I had booked this for 32 nights almost a year ago, as it was advertised as a "no pet allowed" property. Within 30 min of our entrance we noticed visible dog hair on all the cushions inside and out. My husband has emphysema, asthma, and is severely allergic to dogs. We immediately went to purchase some bed linen to cover the furniture. I then contacted the host and asked if the property was pet friendly. His response was that typically dogs were not allowed, but he had a good friend spend a couple weeks there in Jan with his two dogs. I explained that my husband had severe allergies to dogs. He apologized and offered to refund us for the linen ( which he never did).. and suggested we purchase a vacuum and he would reimburse. We decided to see how it went with the linen. My husband developed a cough, congestion, headache, and needed to use his rescue inhaler. That evening when we returned, I vacuumed and used a wet swiffer to clean the floors ( using 4 pads). I sent photos of the dirty pads and visible dog hair to Drexell. His "cleaner " was supposed to have been there Mon. We arrived Wed. We opened all windows Thur and Fri, leaving for lengthy times. I told Drexell of my husband's symptoms . He then informed us his "cleaner " could not come until Fri. With the "return" clean, my attempts, and aeration, my husband's symptoms did not improve. I considered taking him to an Urgent Care. Sat morning he called Drexell, asking if other arrangements could be made , since given his new health issues it was very unlikely we would be able to stay the full time- until March 13. We were led to believe that Drexell would check into other accommodations for us. Within minutes, our reservation had been cancelled without our knowledge!. Drexell also admitted that his own dog had been there for a week in January. So THREE weeks in January there were dogs!! "NO PETS ALLOWED". is how this property is advertised. We lost money and had to move on. How can this be ok? ? We notified VRBO and were told they couldn't help. We were reimbursed 2/3 of our cost. We do appreciate the partial refund we received, but this was NOT our fault. Stayed only 31/2 days. We needed to move on. Also, in Drexell's cancellation he notes that his profile pic had himself with his dog.. therefore, we should have asked if dogs had been inside!! REALLY!!????

Interesting Peaceful Respite On Lake Keowee
A quiet, picturesque, spacious accommodation located immediately on the lake with a well equipped kitchen (so important during the pandemic when we hesitate to dine out) and other amenities such as a well stocked supermarket minutes away and some good restaurants for takeout as well. Walking the nearby hills were a challenge at first but soon became managable with repetition.

My husband and I stayed at Drexel and Sally’s property for the month of February 2021. They had just repainted the entire property along with new upstairs carpet, new master shower, and other improvements. The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a months stay. It was a great location near the Marina. We enjoyed being right on Lake Keowee. Drexel is a great host and is very quick to respond to any issues that arose during our stay and made sure those issues were resolved quickly. The neighborhood is great and people there are very friendly. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely would stay there in the future when we are in the area in the near future.

Great Stay in Seneca, SC
My husband and I stayed at Drexel and Sally’s property for the month of February 2021. Wonderful condo on the lake!
This place was perfect for a winter visit with our Clemson Tiger! It's very clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We burned lots of wood in the stone fireplace, and enjoyed coffee on the porch with a view of the water. We hope to return next year!

This location is perfect for a quick lake getaway. The location is convenient to town and the marina. The town house was very spacious, and the balconies were perfect for relaxing. Drexel was very accommodating and happy to help with any questions. We definitely will be back!

Beautiful, peaceful location
Great condo close to everything! Clean and easy to access. Quiet, great screen porch and deck overlooking lake. Owners were very helpful, responsive and gracious! We will definitely be back!

Lovely home—peaceful setting
We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this lakefront home. The setting was so peaceful, the neighbors kind and friendly, and the home itself has a convenient floor plan that lends itself well to interacting with friends and family. A unique feature in the master bedroom is the king-sized bed set right inside a sliding glass door overlooking the lake—what a lovely way to wake up in the morning!
The hosts were very kind and accommodating , adding sweet touches to make our stay personal.

Wonderful stay
Loved this condo! It had lots of room, very clean, great views, close to restaurants. Easy check in and check out. Drexel was great to work with. Perfect place for attending Clemson graduation. We will definitely stay here again when we can enjoy the lake.

Mother’s Day Meet Up
My husband and I met my daughter and her husband and our grandson there to celebrate Mother’s Day. First of all, the place is even cuter and cozier than the pictures can show. Then I would say it was one of the best stocked rentals we have been to. It was like being in your own home with hand soap, dish soap, spices, everything most rentals expect you to bring.
And finally, the owner was great. He texted us when the cleaning crew left, so we got in hours ahead of time and he stayed in touch even though we didn’t need a thing!
We will definitely stay there again!

Awesome Views
We were there for Military Appreciation game and visit our daughter. Close to Clemson and access to everything. Hope to rent again next fall for another game. Maybe put wifi info on your welcome sheet on refrigerator.
