About this house rental
Nestled in Seneca, this charming house for $1,236 per night is a great option for your next break. Our lake home is located on Lake Keowee in Seneca, SC and is 7 miles from Clemson University. 10 person maximum 8 adults and 2 children. Adults are considered to be 13+ at our home. This luxury 3500sf home is fully furnished and offers a retreat for family and friends including a private cove for swimming , Two huge patios with seating and a third patio with a sunken firepit, shuffleboard, basketball and an outdoor shower. Our home can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The main living area’s open floor plan has cathedral tongue and groove ceilings, rustic 5' planked hardwood floors, a floor to ceiling 52' gas stone fireplace and floor to ceiling windows. The spacious kitchen was built for two or more cooks to move about freely. Included are two dishwashers and two sinks and a walk-in pantry. Off the kitchen is a full-sized laundry room with an extra large front loading washer and dryer. Off the laundry room is a deck which leads to an outdoor shower. The dining area seats 10 and there is an enclosed sunroom with comfortable seating and table for 8. Only steps away is the grill deck which includes a large gas grill. The master suite has a cathedral ceiling and a king-sized luxurious bed with separate reading area and private deck. The master bath has a separate tub and huge shower with rainhead. The walk-in closet has built-ins for his and hers. The lower level has 2 luxurious king suites including their own private baths with large showers. The bunk room has queen over queen bunkbeds. The bathroom includes a large walk in shower. The common area is a game room and has a Pool Table and pinball and a self-service wetbar with refrigerator, microwave and a 3rd dishwasher! Linens and beach towels are supplied. Outside: Gas Grill, Parking for 3-4 cars, Basketball, Shuffleboard, corn hole, Deck, Dock, 2 concrete patios, screened porch, Outdoor seating, Huge fire pit with seating.

The house was perfect! We had four couples stay for a Clemson home football game. Easy drive to Clemson and surrounding areas. The house is equipped with anything you can possibly need. Would definitely stay again! We've traveled down for many home games and this house by far is the nicest/convenient we stayed in.

This is a beautiful property on Lake Keowee very close to Clemson, SC. We stayed for a long Clemson football weekend with friends. Perfect size for our group of 7 senior adults. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The house itself was nice but it really needs a deep clean. We washed dishes before using them but the pots and pans weren't coming clean. I don't know what was going on with the stove top but we could never get it clean. Just about every draw I opened had stuff other renters had left behind so I had to clear that out before I put my things away. I travel with my yoga mat and when I was on the floor I saw dirt under the furniture. We didn't have some paper products and dishwasher detergent but when I contacted the owner she quickly responded and told me where I could find the supplies so that helped. In general I think the property needs some TLC.

The home was even more beautiful and well-appointed than it appeared online. It has so much to offer for a family who wants to enjoy a lake week. Lynn was a wonderfully communicative property owner. We would absolutely rent this property again.

This was my first trip to the area. We went with my brothers family who had previously stayed on the north side of the lake. We brought our own boat and the marina couldn’t have been more convenient to put in. You could literally walk to the grocery if you want, 5-10 minutes to just about anything you need for the week. The best part was the secluded little cove. Zero boat traffic as it’s the end of the cove- perfect for tying up a tube to float or letting the kids swim. We met some of the neighbors who were also sweet and welcoming. The home itself is very comfortable - so many vacation homes can have stiff uncomfortable beds and furniture, but not this one. It was stocked with everything you need - even some spices which is so nice when you don’t have to individually buy a new everything just do you can cook for the week. Multiple sinks, dishwashers, etc. I only had to reach out to the owner once because we thought we’d tripped a breaker- turns out it was user error :) - but Lynn was super responsive. We saw deer multiple times, lightening bugs, had a fire in the fire pit - good family time! Highly recommend

My friends and I (in our 50s) used this house for boating and for going to a Clemson game. We arrived on a Thu, rented a boat from Keowee Marina (less than 2 miles away) on Fri, and went to the game on Sat. The location is awesome for all of that. The house itself is wonderful. Fun basement with pool and pinball. They also have shuffleboard, cornhole and basketball. The place is huge and roomy. I had a couple of minor issues (not the owners fault) and had to call the owner and she was very responsive, friendly and responded to my issues right away. This is a great place for friends or family. Everything was so convenient. I hope we get to use it again next year when we get together for another Clemson game.

Great Lake Keowee party
My family rented this property while visiting my parents in Upstate SC. The property is as pictured. Lynn was a welcoming host. The house comes with all you will need including a stocked spice cabinet. I would recommend this property without hesitation!

Clemson Football Weekend
We had an amazing Clemson football weekend. The house was great and as described. Loved the 3 King bedrooms as we were 3 couples visiting our Clemson kids. The additional double queen option allows for another couple or other guests. The kitchen was great for cooking and well stocked.
We enjoyed cooking and having our kids over for dinner one of the nights. Plenty of seating for meals. The location was perfect. Close to Clemson and other amenities but still on the lake. The weather was not great so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor space but would love to return and make use of it including the firepit.
We will definitely plan another stay in the future.

Family Fun
Our twin ten year old grandchildren had never kayaked or used a water board. It was a real treat for them as the owners provided the kayaks. Their Daddy had the water board and we were amazed how quickly they learned. They had so much fun jumping off the dock and swimming in the cove. We had a pair of mallards who visited us every day. We also saw a blue heron every day. The fire pit provided fun as we roasted hot dogs and s’mores. I highly recommend this home and we look forward to visiting again in the future. JMM, Greenwood, SC

Wonderful lake house!
This was our 1st time staying in this part of SC and it won't be our last. In fact we look forward to staying at this property again. The place was beautiful and as comfortable as it gets. Perfect layout, roomy bedrooms and nice sized bathrooms. The owner was super nice and very responsive. Kayaking, fishing boat rental availability it has it all. It was a relaxing week given it was our 1st time being anywhere since pandemic.
