I was pleasently surprised from the welcome drinks, generous breakfast, the modern rooms, well manicured gardens, cleanliness.

Great location, clean & comfortable rooms and lovely staff. Definitely recommend:)

A very brief 1nt stay but we loved Hlangana Lodge. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, close to Oudtshoorn centre & only 20min drive to Cango Caves & 15min drive to Cango Ostrich Safari. The rooms were clean & beds were very comfortable, we loved the little room for the kids which gave us a bit of space. We all loved the swimming pool, especially the children. Breakfast was lovely & we liked how we could order food in, especially after a long drive we all just wanted pizza & an early night. The staff were excellent - very friendly & helpful. We loved our stay at Hlangana Lodge & will definitely stay again when next in Oudtshoorn :)

Our stay was excellent, nice things to do around the area: Cango Caves, waterfalls, ostrich farms …

Nice view from our room, ideally for families, breakfast was excellent! Swimming pool was more than ok and nice to have some relax chairs around the pool so we can relax after a long drive.

Nothing that I can think of.

great option for a stop-over

we just stayed for one night on the drive through back to Cape Town. The gardens are lovely and the rooms spacious. the staff is very friendly, and helped us in securing a dinner reservation for the evening

the walls are very thin, and given the layout of the lodge, privacy can be compromised. But for one night (or a couple), that was perfectly fine

The lodge is situated in a beautiful garden

Friendly staff

There is no generator for when load shedding happens, so the aircon doesn't work during a shed, and Oudshoorn gets super hot. There is backup power for the wifi and lights.

Schlechtester Service auf unserer gesamten Reise durch Südafrika. Man hat keine Lust auf Gäste die ein Problem haben.

Wir hatten in der Honeymoonsuite kaltes Wasser. Niemand hat uns geholfen. Wir mussten mehrfach nachfragen. Selbst der Owner hat sich erst nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen gemeldet. Es gab eine Entschuldigung, sonst nichts. Wir konnten weder duschen noch den Whirlpool benutzen. Uns wurde auch keine andere Möglichkeit zum duschen angeboten. Alles anderen Gäste hatten warmes Wasser.

Lovely place

Location, good breakfast and rooms are beautiful. Nice and quiet. The only place I will stay when visiting Oudtshoorn.

Great hospitality, welcoming space for a family with young children and a dog. Excellent!

The room was immaculate, with all the little comforts that are nice to have. The staff were all super-helpful. And the buffet breakfast was fantastic.

The pool wasn't as clean as I would like.

Way above our expectations.

From the minute we arrived, it was impressive. We were met at the reception with a welcome drink. I was the organiser for our group for Accomodation, my fellow companions were all very impressed. It was such a surprise when we got to our room, the room was way exceeding our expectations. Well done and thank you.

Lush, green and peaceful, with friendly staff, I would definitely return.

The room was very tastefully decorated, with a lovely carpet and with the aircon on was quite cosy. It was neat and clean with no unnecessary furniture. The bathroom was a bit small, but since it was just me, it was okay. I always appreciate the availability of soap, shampoo, lotion, a vanity kit and a shower cap.

Though the establishment has back up power, it only powers the lights and not the TV and the Wifi. Though they offered to wash my car, and I said I would take them up on the offer, they never did.

Exceptional

Nice lodge with a view on the grass and on the pool which we could not try since it was winter. Breakfast very good. Boys enjoyed the gym too.

The place is full of cats, which I like. Maybe not everyone does.

Comfortable and welcoming

Lovely staff who went out of their way to help. Was really cold while we were there, would be fab in summer as it had a lovely pool area. Continental breakfast was very generous with lots of choices!

Room smelled very strongly of cleaning products/bleach.

Lovely stay, perfectly located in my opinion and extremely good value for money!

Wonderful environment for kids and very relaxing. The staff are amazing, extremely helpful, and friendly. The room was much larger than expected and the facilities were perfect.

The very last day (Saturday morning) the breakfast staff on duty were oddly unhelpful in comparison to the staff on duty during the week.

Amazing place

Beautiful facility and thevl location is amazing. The rooms are spacious and very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The fact we have to pay extra for a warm breakfast. Why not include the breakfast in the price.
