Estadia relaxante !

Love it!

Breakfast was lovely. Our room was large and very comfortable. The pool and spa facilities were amazing. The distance to Old Town - a good and easy walk. The staff were always very cheery and helpful!! Nothing was a problem.

One of the best hotel experiences - A must stay in Dubrovnik!

Everything about this hotel is excellent!! Our room was huge and overlooked the old city of Dubrovnik and the beach, making it the perfect view to start and end our day. Since the room was so spacious, we had plenty of room to unpack our bags and sit comfortably. The complimentary breakfast each morning was incredible. Not only was the selection was extensive, but the staff was fantastic. They would take us to our table, bring us our coffee orders, and offered us a selection of made to order breakfast meals - all included in the complimentary breakfast! The views from the breakfast patio were also beautiful and made each breakfast extra enjoyable. The hotel is location a short walk away from the old town entrance - we are both in our early thirties and it took us only 6 minutes to walk from the hotel to the old city gate. The walk is very easy - there is a clear path and you are able to see beautiful views throughout the entire walk. The beach and pool area are also fantastic! The pool area is huge and has several complimentary spa amenities (sauna, roman bath, hot tub) that all can use. If you are interested in being able to swim in Croatia then this hotel is the place for you! The outdoor beach area was some of the best swimming I've experienced in all of Croatia! The water is crystal clear and you are able to jump right into it! The hotel also provides guests with lounge chairs so you can comfortably relax between each swim. The outdoor pool area is also really cool and was a nice place to calmly enjoy the water in between jumps. Finally, the staff at this hotel is phenomenal. They were all very friendly, helped us make reservations at top notch restaurants, and gave us great advice for planning out each day. My husband and I are pretty well traveled and we considered this hotel to be one of the best we've ever stayed at! Definitely a must stay for anyone coming to visit Dubrovnik!!

Phenomenal location walking distance to old town, beautiful views of old town, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, access to the sea

outdoor pool would be preferred to indoor pool, but not a big issue given sea access

Stunning stay

The hotel was located 5 min walk from the Old Town and it had a perfect view over the Adriatic Sea - the Prora restaurant was superb and the service at the restaurant and the hotel was fantastic- we hope to return soon

I HAD A WONDERFUL LITTLE BEACH VACATION AT THE EXCELSIOR.

The (concrete) beach is WONDERFUL: great views, superb swimming water, comfortable lounge chairs, great service. When I said I did not like the room I was assigned, the manager graciously moved me to a far better room. Great service, with smiles, throughout the property.

Breakfast food was not up to par.

The service is second to none. Location second to none for the Old City. Breakfast to die for. To dine and swim while seeing the vista of the old town is sublime! What a treat!

it’s a 9.5 hotel but due to a complementary upgrade to the joiner suite, it was 10+ stay

Best location, as you get a non stop view of the old town, a few min walk from the South Gate. The complementary room upgrade to the joiner suite with an incredible sea and old tenon view made our stay unique and special. for us it is the best hotel in town.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Excelsior for 5 nights and i could not have asked for more. From the moment we arrived all hotel staff were very friendly and more than accommodating. I would recommend booking a room with a sea view as our room was to the back of the hotel. The location is ideal as a 5 mins stroll brings you right into the old town. The breakfast spread was very nice with both table and self service during the times. The hotels swimming pool facilities were very nice which open out right onto a private sea front.

The hotel has two restaurants which are very nicely finished, however a better variety of menu choices would have been nice.

Very comfortable hotel with an Amazing location and views to the Adriatic Sea and Old Town

The locations is unbeatable with the Adriatic Sea and amazing views to the Old Town. Our room was very stylish, with a really nice terrace with stunning views. The bar at the hotel is beautifully displayed and staff was really helpful and friendly. The hotel has also a nice spa and restaurants.

great location with Wonderfull view of the city, but still a short walk and you are on stradun. nice beach below, big room with nice balcony and big bathroom.

breakfast should be better with a higher quality food and more local food, expensive drinks
