We requested a quiet room and were put next to a huge family that were very very noisy

children friendly with a kids pool play ground and kids club, we had our granddaughter with us . love the odd duck, female emus running around and a few others to say the least.
our room was a bungalow and a little tight fir a cot, otherwise nice. staff were so friendly especially lovely to our granddaughter.
we wanted to extend by one night, they told us we needed to move rooms which was okay, not ideal but it accepted that so packed up on our last day only to be told after the fact we are staying in the original room, no communication at all so that was time wasted .
also the laundry service isn’t available as yet. it’s all about the convenience with a 22 month old Bub while her parents had a small honeymoon elsewhere

Kid got ear infection, probably from the pool water

Thre grounds of the hotel were lovely. The new Bird Cage restaurant was also very good and beautifully appointed
The main pool only had 3 umbrellas and minimal lounges. If the hotel was really busy you would never get a seat at the pool. At check in they had us booked in for only 2 instead of 3 nights. It took a phone call and almost an hour to get our luggage sent to room. We arrived at 10pm at night. The room was adequate, however there was a huge sofa at the end of the bed making it almost impossible to get around it. Nowhere to put the luggage and no bedside tables! Unless we kept the curtains drawn we felt like we were in an open goldfish bowl!

Great pool, great breakfast, rooms were clean, facilities were good.
Wifi was accessible throughout the entire complex, no issues ever connecting, although it was a little slow at peak times.
Bungalow rooms were a little small

Beautiful gardens, clean and comfortable rooms. Gorgeous pools and great breakfast.
Breakfast service at Byrd was great - lunch and dinner, not so much.

Nothing. We liked it all.

It has been 27 years since we have stayed at Segara Village and we were amazed at the changes. The property is lovely, staff very friendly and helpful.
We don't like the new bike, electric bike and scooter path. It has made the walk along that entire area frustrating and quite dangerous. It has taken the relaxation out of the walk and so the peacefulness and beauty of the area is lost.

Staff were marvelous, location perfect, food and drinks spot on! Can't go wrong in beautiful Sanur everyone is so relaxed and friendly!

Location, facilities.
It appeared to have a public childcare centre within the property and had functions in the grounds. A child’s birthday party was held while we were there. If you don’t mind children screaming all day while you’re trying to relax by the pool …..
I think the childcare activities should be disclosed to potential clients.

Very beautiful hotel area with lots of tropical trees and flowers; nice swimming pools; great buffet breakfast; modern hotel restaurant with delicious food and good music; friendly staff, great service (we could stay at the hotel area after check-in and use swimming pools without extra charge)
Beach is not very beautiful; restaurant prices are relatively high for Bali; very high spa prices

The gardens were amazing as well as the pools, restaurant, buffet breakfast and location right on the beach
Not really walkable to Sanur main shops

Amazing grounds with beautiful gardens and attractive pools. Very close to the beach and the promenade which has markets, massage and numerous cafes and bars. On-site restaurant also fairly decent.
We were disappointed by the quality of our room. Felt like the photos really exaggerated how modern and spacious it would be! And the shower was very weak. Would be much better if the rooms were of the same standard as the beautiful grounds.

The room itself was quite spacious with a nice open balcony. The gardens and overall ambience of the resort are excellent. The pool, the birdcage restaurant on the beach and the overall feel of this resort is outstanding for the money
Nothing really. From the pricing perspective it is that the higher end but certainly not in the league of the Hyatt etc

This is a typical resort property - lots of facilities for kids, but geared towards people that don't really want to see Indonesian culture. Food was 90% western but a very big buffet breakfast. Right on the beach which is tidal but quite nice, and a couple of good restaurants nearby or a 5min walk to the main strip. Several nice pools
Food was incredibly expensive for the region - 190k for a burger (270k for Rendang). There were several pools but could benefit from a little shade around them. Leadership staff who ran the desk or the restaurant were very knowledgable and friendly, but most others were inattentive and very slow.
