Local to city centre
The bed every time you moved it mad a noise kept me awake most of the night
7.0
The bed was comfortable and the room served the purpose of the stay
The room while clean could do with a refurbishment ,as some of the seams on the wallpaper we're lifting and paintwork could do with refreshing ,I understand that they are in the process of renovating the dining room and I assume they are doing the whole building,it is a big large building probably Georgian.

Wir hatten unsere Tochter dabei und haben ein Babybett bestellt.
Daraufhin haben wir direkt ein größeres Zimmer bekommen.
Das war sehr geräumig und auch das Babybett war toll.

Friendly welcome, room was very nice and the car parking was good. Location was central for town.
Lots of work going on and areas of the hotel would benefit from re-decorating

The hotel staff is very friendly, the hotel room is spacious and immaculately clean
The bed was very comfortable and fairly big.

This is an unpretentious, clean, straightforward hotel that’s perfect for short stays in Rugby. Yes, it’s a bit weathered, but it’s very inexpensive and great value for the price. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I couldn’t really ask for anything more for the great price. The room was comfortable, exactly as advertised and clean.
The restaurant happened to be closed but it’s meant to re-open soon, apparently. But there are plenty of places to eat a short walk away. The iron in my room didn’t work but the front desk sorted this out in a couple of minutes.

Beds were comfortable for the price I was paying I couldn’t complain about that. Also, the member of staff didn’t seem to know much and wasn’t very professional but was friendly to me at least.
Old building, windows wouldn’t shut securely, heating was on full blast and couldn’t be turned down, door didn’t shut in first room, no lights apart from one bedside table lamp in second room I was moved to, thin walls and loud neighbour, labyrinth of corridors - got lost in the morning, not professional, bins weren’t emptied, little signs so if there was a fire I’d struggle to get out quickly, probably forgot other things but overall… wouldn’t recommend.

Windows were dangerous bath didn't work it was noisy

Friendly and helpful staff. Close to town centre.
Radiator in the room didn’t work so it was cold, member of staff gave us a portable one but it didn’t help much. Room was fairly clean but the bedding seen better times, it was old and grey and not white at all.

I like the area as I am familiar to it. There is parking although it was not clear that you have to pay £10 when you are actually staying in the hotel.
Paying for parking.
Dated property and overall condition of the hotel.
Uncomfortable bed, flat pillows.

The staff were unhelpful, stayed for 5 nights no-one came to clean the room, ran out of toilet roll, wifi kept stopping and no hot water for 2 days.first day I had a look around and found a member of staff in the dining room in her pj's not what you expect to see at 11'00 in the morning

The staff at reception was fantastic. The hotel is clean and tidy. Good night sleep with free Wi-Fi.
The bed was quite uncomfortable.

The location was ideal for town centre and bus stops.
The unprofessional bits of paper written on the door stating that would be back in 25 mins. The restaurant was not operating so no breakfast could be offered. The whole set up was a disgrace. Very disappointed, I was visiting my home town and attending a funeral. Would not recommend that hotel at all.

Absolutely nothing, it was a disgrace, we had to rebook everyone into another hotel at great cost to the charity.
The list is endless,
- Extremely hot and stuff
- Strong smell of smoke
- strong smell of urine
- the bar was 1 bottle of opened cinzano and nothing else
- urine stains on bed
- paint peeling everywhere
- decor extremely tired

Bed was comfy, flexible check in
The shower pressure was really low.
The door wouldn't lock properly (I did get a new room to be fair)
It is very noisy with other guests.

Fairly good location, about a ten minute walk into town, good size room and decent enough bathroom. Bed not bad.
Pillows were about 1cm thick, but when we asked for new pillows they bought brand new ones to us which were perfect, window wouldn’t stay open, we had to use a prop to get air into the room, there is no bar or restaurant on site, the one member of staff didn’t speak very good English so it was hard to communicate, other than that a pleasant hotel taken into new ownership - definitely some improvements needed.
4.0
I liked that it was close to the town centre.
where do I start. only one cup. when I asked for another, was told that they didn’t have anymore. the same issue with the towels and pillows. the decor was abit dated.

We found the staff friendly and helpful, the location excellent, the facilities consonant with the price, spacious warm room and plenty of hot water, coffee and tea inthe bedroom. We were pleased to find 2 comfortable arm chairs not just one as is so often the case.
I thought the bedding could be better and that the bathroom tlighting should be checked as most of the ceiling lights were not working.. The bay windows rattled., but not so as to prevent sleep. I presumed there would be a restaurant - my mistake.
3.0
The car park, it was safe.
Poor staff, lack of knowledge, room was noisy as I was on the main road, could do with a modernisation, it feels old, tired, cracks in the wall, very noisy bathroom fan, old shower that is a pain to operate efficiently, bed was uncomfortable and I got about 3 hours sleep, lights not working, steep stairs, the hotel is tired, poorly maintained, not cleaned very well, do not recommend this hotel as poor value for money!!!!! There are better out there so keep looking.
