Close to the centre of city
Room was too warm - needed air con as windows didn’t open far enough and with windows open it was really noisy - event going on outside the hotel until 2am. Also, they didn’t pre-warn me that the roads outside the hotel cat park were closed the next day for a running race - so I was stuck there until the late afternoon, long after I needed to leave.

The room was as expected. Breakfast served was nice but not alot for people that don't eat meat. Food and Beverage team very welcoming. Even after their busiest time. Credit to them.
Found the reception staff very dismissive, almost as though it was the end of a long shift and they couldn't be bothered. We were given our room key, Sent off, nothing was explained about the lift, needing a key to access it, breakfast. We went out for the evening for a concert and upon trying to get back into the hotel the doors were locked and a security guy did come and let us in but again very abrupt: Name, Room Number. That was it. It made us both feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Based on this experience alone I would not be booking with an Ibis again.

For the price the location and breakfast are fantastic. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable and have all you need
Parking is a bit expensive at £15 per 24hrs, there are local car parks that are a bit cheaper

Friendly and professional staff, looked newly decorated and the bed was very comfortable.
Not enough room at breakfast meant we had to share a table, staff handled it very well and checked we were OK.

Great location for 02 venues. Room is big enough and breakfast was good. Parking is a bonus.
Rooms are a bit dated.

Clean hotel and lovely staff
The toilet/bathroom had a awful, strange smell, almost smelt of gone off veg.

Ibis hotels are always clean and comfortable, which is why I use them if I possibly can.
The sound of a local night club was bleeding through the walls all night, right up until 4 am.
The constant bass made sleep completely impossible.
I complained about this in the morning, caveating my complaint knowing the situation was beyond the hotels control. The helpful lady assured me that the manager would be made aware when they returned to work on Monday, my number was taken to contact me.
A week has passed and no contact.
I paid over £130 for a room that I couldn’t sleep in and a my complaints completely ignored.
I expected better from the hotel.

Breakfast was filling and hot. Friendly staff member working in the restaurant area for breakfast. Room was warm and cozy. Enjoyed relaxing in the bar area with drinks. Felt safe. Great places to eat nearby.

Very clean and strategic to connect other locations in Birmingham
The rooms are not spacious but still good

It's good to be closed to the train station but the surroundings of the hotel is a mess. Look dirty and unsafe
No air conditioner is fine but the fan in the hotel was useless it’s quiet challenging to survive with that fan in a 28℃ hot day

Location
Could hear the neighbours. Key cards kept failing to open the door and I had to go to reception every time I wanted to get back in my room.

Equipment
Drilling noise and the aircondision full of dust (caused strong allergic reaction as we have allergy to dust).

The room was cozy and so was the bed.
There was drilling, construction work we presumed. But it was very irritating, we would have to shout over it to actually talk or when we would nap/sleep it wsd just constant in the afternoon/evening when we arrived and thr next day in the morning.

Location was great, clean & good breakfast
Hot! It wasn’t even hot outside but when you walked in it was like the heating was on. The room was warm even with a fan & the ‘air con’ on constantly
