the Monasterio was gorgeous - a beautifully restored monastery with an elaborate chapel and original works of art throughout. Impeccable.
We had two different rooms and each was as lovely as the other. I cannot say anything negative about it. The Monasterio and staff were one of the highlights of our trip.

one of the extraordinary and beautiful hotels my husband and I have ever stayed in! Roger and Edson took unbelievably great care of us and our friends during our three-night stay. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough…it is an experience. divine rooms, delicious food, and unbelievable setting in an old monestery.
we loved EVERYTHING!!

The service was very on point and the hotel’s historical courtyard is really pleasant for an end of day drink or for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was very generous with delicious food and the hotel staff is really attentive and always willing to help and ensure your stay is comfortable. The hotel also offered us an upgrade which was a very nice touch and much appreciated.
This hotel would deserve a 10 if it wasn’t for the outdated decorations in the indoor areas. The bar area has a lot of potential but it needs a revamping and the bathrooms in the rooms look outdated. we really appreciated the historical furniture in the rooms but some of the other non historical items seemed to miss the mark. we stayed at the hotel twice and would definitely recommend the rooms in the main courtyard where the chapel is.

We arrived to the location as part of a package with Belmond. Due to this our experience may be slightly different that for others.
The staff is really helpful and kind. Service is fast and thorough.
The venue is really exciting! It's an old monastery with all the needed modernity added.
Our room was spacious, spreading on two levels.
The hotel is 3 minutes by walk from the main square.
The dinner experience with the opera night was excellent!
Nothing, perfect place! 😊

The staff is courteous and competent, meeting the highest standards of customer service. The building and individual rooms are historic and comfortable. The courtyard in particular is a peaceful haven where it is possible to simply relax, have breakfast or lunch, or have tea and cocktails later in the evening. In the Peru State of Emergency crisis, they came through with flying colors--ready to help in any way they could.
