Really nice hotel, modern, big rooms with AC. I liked that the pool is open until late evening so we could relax after a day of exploring. The location is great, close to the main road and beaches but in a quiet area.
Staff was lovely and helpful. We asked to check out at 8pm to make most of our last day in Sri Lanka and they accommodated the request for a fair fee.
Breakfast was alright but could be improved with greater variety and better quality to really make the experience a 10 out of 10 (but maybe we have been spoiled by previous home stays’ hosts who cooked delicious Sri Lankan homemade food for us!)

El servicio es excepcional, muy atentos y pendientes de que todo estuviera bien. Las instalaciones del hotel son buenas, piscina, restaurante tiene de todo.
el wifi podría funcionar mejor, pero es igual en toda la isla.

Staff really helpful. Dealt with any issue immediately. Nice pool area and bar. Good location, security guard on the door. Owner greeted and made an effort to speak. Hotel stood out above the rest.
No safe.
Not clear about order for soft boiled eggs.

It was such a lovely hotel to stay. We stayed there for 8 nights and the staff were amazing. The bedroom that we were given was just perfect for what we needed. The swimming pool was lovely and the hotel was so close to the beach. The staff sorted everything out for us (airport pick up, drop off, rental scooter, laundry, etc).
There is nothing we did not like!

Location is fine
Room very bad

Breakfast was good with different options and they made me a fresh omelette. Staff was helpful and responded quickly when there was an issue.
WiFi did not work in my room and it was poor throughout the hotel. Mosquitoes and ants in my room. Curtains were broken and not possible to open. Pool didn’t seem too clean. This is not Ok for a hotel charging these kinds of prices. And I even booked the room on a discounted rate.
Also, I missed having a mosquito net, but that was on me, because I just assumed all rooms had them.

The location was great! We came to Mirissa for whale watching and were only 4 minutes walking to the boat company. The spa was fantastic. I would highly recommend the massage along with the steam bath. What a great experience! Doctor and therapist were great! Checking blood pressure before steam bath as well as knowing when it was time to come out. Staff at front desk was great, helpful in scheduling massage as well as transport out. Breakfast was a good selection.
The room was not good. The standard rooms are in a very old building that smells of mildew. Tge shower is a bit disgusting, smelly. Bed was a bit hard especially after such a great massage. Would recommend booking the Deluxe rooms rather than the standard rooms. Chaise lounge chairs at the pool are not at all comfortable.

The staff was very nice and friendly
The location is full of mosquitos - the room are not well isolated so you can hear a lot of noises

The staff were fantastic, always on hand to help. At points it felt like there were more staff than guests as it was off season. The room was great and had everything we needed, overlooking the pool. The shower was hot and powerful. Didn't spend much time by the pool as we were at the beach but it was heated which made it lovely to come back for an evening dip.

The rooms were a good size and cleaned every day. The lunch was great and the staff are very helpful and personable. Very good location - 3 min walk to Mirisssa beach and 10 to secret beach. Good restaurant options within a 10 minute tuk tuk ride
Breakfast options could be more varied but overall it was enjoyable!

This hotel is perfect if you stay in Mirissa since it is in the city center. Its facilities are super clean and well cared, speacially the swimming pool which is amazing. The hotel manager was so nice and she made our stay feel that perfect that we decided to stay one more night. I recommend their amazing spa for a good massage!

Great location and lovely pool, friendly staff.
Some building works going on - so maybe avoid this place for the next 2 weeks - after that go for it!!! Breakfast a little cold.

The pool area was probably the best part about the hotel.
The Rooms are ok, pretty clean but definitely in need of a little refreshment.
The ladies provided some water, which we are thankful for. Appreciate their smiles.
Beach is not too far, walkable distance where you can find decent beach bars to spend your day!
Where should I start.. firstly we’ve stayed in a few similar budget friendly hotels during our three weeks in Sri Lanka and I must say this wasn’t the cheapest and probably one of our least favourite.
Currently there is construction work being done at the front entrance area… nobody mentioned anything anywhere and that to me is what started the bad experience. Please warn your guests.
Most of the staff seemed to be preoccupied with playing cricket, together with the construction guys… I’m all for it just not when your guest are alone in the pool area and there isn’t a barman …or anyone around for that matter. If everything was smooth then I’d join the game also..but it wasn’t the case!
After the first night we woke up to some hardcore construction noise, like super loud and then music blasting.. I looked outside cause I was surprised how loud it was compared to the day before and saw that the room below us was being refurbished, with a speaker blasting on their balcony. Not the most pleasant wake up and certainly not very resort like.
Wi-Fi was not great.
Bathroom in the lobby area was not clean.
Food for breakfast wasn’t amazing as some mentioned earlier, welcome drink is a full of sugar not fresh juice.. it was our first time in Sri Lanka to not have a fresh juice offered for breakfast also.. again this sugar orange drink
:(
We also overheard a conversation were some fellow guests had some safety issues and visibly were upset.. so we were happy that we were checking out at that moment.
I would love to recommend this place but I unfortunately cannot as I believe places need to improve and live up to what they call themselves….. and most importantly be honest and straightforward about the condition of the establishment. It is unacceptable, at least for me.
My first and only bad review throughout our stay in Sri Lanka..
Best of luck and hope you can improve and become better!

The location of the hotel was great just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
Nothing we didt like at the hotel.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a weekend getaway, and overall, I would rate my experience as a solid three stars. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions or provide recommendations.
One of the hotel's highlights was its prime location, just a short walk from the city's best attractions and restaurants. The on-site restaurant was also a nice bonus, serving decent food at reasonable prices.
However, there were a few downsides to my stay. The hotel's exterior and common areas were in need of some updating, and the Wi-Fi was spotty in my room. Additionally, the walls were thin, and I could hear a lot of noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms.
In conclusion, the hotel is a good option if you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel with a convenient location. Just keep in mind that it may not have all the bells and whistles of a higher-rated hotel.
The manager at breakfast was intrusive; shaking hands and kissing was too much for a simple morning invitation.
Also, the young lady at the reception needs thorough training to provide adequate information and good service.

The location of this hotel was good, we managed to walk to most places whilst we were here. The staff were also friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with.
The best thing was the warm, powerful shower.
-Loads of mosquitoes in our room and the corridors
-Cigarettes in the pool.
-The double bed was two single beds pushed together
-Breakfast was very standard
-Old decor and furnishings

The room was great with a pool view. The secret beach and Mirissa beach are at walkable distance from this resort. Highly recommend this place. The staff were very kind.
The room freshener was little too much when we entered the room and it took some time to settle down.

We spent two nights here as part of our three week holiday in Sri Lanka. It is ideally located for Marissa beach and going on whale watching trips. This hotel has lovely comfortable modern rooms and is quite well sound proofed in a town location. Breakfast buffet has great choices including Sri Lankan dishes.
Drinks and dinner buffet prices seemed expensive compared with other places we had been especially as all quoted and charged in US$.
WiFi was not available in our room and poor elsewhere.

In one word, I must say it was great and I recommend this hotel.
I spent more than two days to choose this hotel and checked the nearby hotels, and now after the experience of staying in this hotel, I can confidently say that it was a good choice.
The hotel staff were very polite and kind. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Had a hearty breakfast.
The view of the rooms was to the pool and also to the palm trees in front of which the peacocks came around at sunset and made the view more beautiful.
Nothing
It's just that they cleaned the pool every day, but the pool water was a bit cloudy

Nice and spacious room, big bathroom, A/C, cleaning service every day, big and tasty breakfast :) Good location, only 3-5 min walking to the beach.
We stayed here during the weekend, so we heard party noises all night long coming from the beach (not too loud though).

The staff is amazing. The lady in the reception and the two girls were more than helpfull and kind :). Although we were late for the breakfast, the ladies arranges a quick breakfast for us. The old man in the breakfast room was one of the most heart warming, kind and nice persons I met in Sri Lanka.
The room is not clean and the facilities are poor.
