Staff disappointment

The beds are really comfy, I stayed in 3 different rooms, one was really mouldy and twin beds. First was a sweet great room but too big, the last room ground floor also mouldy but after leaning the AC on I couldn't smell it as much. Their English is not so good so I couldn't be bothered complaining. DO NOT GET A GROUND FLOOR ROOM ALL ARE MOULDY you can smell it, they try to hide it with disinfectant. did my rounds ask for second or third floor. It's very close to everything, Including the Samui night markets The boxing stadium Street food, messages and entertainment On the ocean, pool is nice. Tv had Netflix The bathtub was great,

The mouldy rooms, clean but smelly First it was pool staff even tho they take a deposit you can't bill the room 'pay now, pay now". Not very nice. Everything I asked I was met with " can not " ?? Who carries money in your bathers?? Why did they take a 1000 baht deposit? Ú So this is a huge RED flag for me after all if they can accommodate them client in a hotel leave. Wouldn't give me an iron they wanted me to pay house cleaning to iron my pants?? I'm not hard to please. But some of the staff in particular the restaurant manager was extremely anal, the first time I thought it was because she was having a bad day, when it happened the second time I checked out! With 3 days remaining in my stay forcing me to find a new hotel. The senior management offered me a better room. But I would still have to see this woman every morning to ruin my day. And deal with the pool staff. Imagine the waiter taking away your food whilst your eating because it was after 10 "breakfast over you go now". Lol who does that. I jumped in the ocean because it's like 35° no AC in the dining area, I come back my desert was gone, they saw me go into the ocean left all my stuff there, they didn't ask, just took, when I complained instead of apologising and getting me a new bowl of fruit and yogurt, the manger starts blaming me for taking my food to another table and not eating fast enough. The staff will just stand around all day like they normally do, I don't understand the problem. Their only job is to serve the people and keep them happy so they don't want to leave the hotel.

Immer wieder sehr sehr gerne.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Vor dem Hotel tobt das Leben. In der Anlage selbst merkt man nicht, dass man mitten drin ist. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Am Abend kann man am Strand wunderbare Strandbars aufsuchen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das Personal. Es ist so zuvorkommend und freundlich. Eigentlich verdient dieses Hotel einen Stern mehr.

Preiswertes schönes Hotel, für Leute die den Fluglärm aushalten können.

Lage, Pool, Restaurant, Strandnah, direkt im Zentrum, Personal Mittags kann man am Pool mit chilliger Musik liegen und Drinks trinken. Strandabschnitt nicht groß, da fast direkt am Wasser und auch keine Liegen. Ist auch an einer Bucht, also kein direktes Meer. Man kann aber ein paar Meter weiter gehen... Direkt im Zentrum, aber kein Lärm von der Straße oder Clubs.

Fluglärm ist wirklich laut, störte mich allerdings nur morgens ab 6.00uhr.. tagsüber nicht so schlimm. Je nachdem wo das Zimmer ist auch Nachts, Lärm durch Tiere von außen, da die Türen sehr hellhörig sind.

Holiday review

Very good location next to main road on which you can find lots of restaurants, taxis etc.

Very, very, very bad sound isolation between rooms. You can hear every single noise, whats happening in other room our outside on the terraces. Was not able to sleep normally because of this fact that some loud background noises was disturbing me. As well worth to remind other guests that after 11PM should be quiet time not party time in their hotel rooms till 3-4am. Very disappointed about this fact!

A fairly quiet, good value hotel with nice pool area and very nice bedrooms

Central location but limited street noise. Spacious well furnished bedrooms, with nice balcony, nice pool area with direct beach access, close to bars & restaurants

Not enough sun beds, no evening bar or restaurant in the hotel, flights were overhead & noisy(but not too frequent), mostly quiet but we had noisy neighbours & rooms not very sound insulated. Air conditioning broke twice but was immediately fixed

Great location

Fantastic location, steps away from beach, bars/restaurants/shopping. Nice pool. Bed is comfy and not hard. Average breakfast buffet. Egg station, mix of Asian and continental foods.Many services available at hotel reception such as laundry, taxi, tours etc. Morning birds sounds are pretty magical :D

Walls are very thin and all sorts of things can be heard. No views. No elevator but they do have ground floor rooms.The hotel beach restaurant closed at 8p on Weekdays. Worst thing about this location is the airplanes going by all day/night. VERY LOUD! If you're outdoors it's not so bad but they fly right above the resort and start at around 630am and go to about 9pm. They run around every hour or so. Any place within this location will be the same.

Personeel was super lief, fijn zwembad.

Geen bedjes aan zee, kamer was mega vochtig bijna tot nat toe. Was hele verblijf geen wifi. Alle bedjes al vanaf de ochtend bezet met bezeten mensen die bang waren geen bedje te hebben. Gelukkig niet in de drukte, als je voor je rust komt zou ik niet naar chaweng gaan, tip v flip.

Overall a good stay

The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast was included in the price. The location is ideal, right at the city center in the front and the beach at the back.

Front desk staff can be more friendlier and more helpful. The check in can be more welcoming. Breakfast can be better with more variety for people staying more than a night.

Chaweng keskustassa. Mielenkiintoinen yöelämä!

Tykkäsin että hotelli oli lähellä Chaweng keskustaa. Paljon hyviä ravintoloita, hyvä hinnat! Siivoojat siivosivat joka päivä ja vaihtoivat pyyhkeet uusiksi. Respa antoi meille extra tyynyt, ihanaa!

Kylpyhuone oli tosi likainen…WC-pönttö haisi, siivoojat eivät siivonneet sitä 9 päivään mitä olimme hotellissa. Sängyt olivat kovia. Huoneissa ei ole ääneneristystä. Olimme huolissaan että emme saaneet passikopioa takasin, yleensä muut paikat antavat. Sanoivat, että säilyttää huolellisesti ne. Jos haluaa kunnon rantaa niin tässä hotellissa ei ole sellasista. Isot aallot oli kaikki 9 päivää, mutta uiminen oli kuitenkin mahdollista illalla, kun merivesi oli vähän laskeutunut.

Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt

Sehr freundliches Personal. Nach meiner Anfrage, ob ich einen neuen Duschkopf bekomme (meiner war sehr verkalkt) wurde dieser innerhalb 5 Minuten ausgetauscht. Lage ist optimal, sehr zentral und auch direkt am Strand. Touren, Wäscherei und Roller Vermietung direkt beim Hotel buchbar und hat super funktioniert.

Leider rochen die Handtücher etwas merkwürdig. Ich hatte ein Zimmer direkt hinter der Rezeption, daher hat man die Musik nachts von der Straße etwas gehört. Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

Says there is a beautiful beach but it was very dirty and the tide is nearly always in staff linn very rude wanted me to pay for a dirty pillow case which I can assure you was like that when we arrived they also had to change our room as we had cockroaches 🪳 the sheets were never white and getting a roll of toilet paper was practically impossible .safe battery went we were an hour waiting for someone to come help us it was a mess

Worst experience so far in Thailand.

The worst staff I’ve ever met in Thailand. I asked for a later check out as I had to work till 4 am and a reception lady said it’s no problem. Check out day they called my room saying I have to go out right now and were absolutely ignorant to any arguments. I understand that people are making mistakes but normally they at least try to solve themselves. In case with Combo you will always have to pay for their mistakes.

Would return to this resort

Beautiful view over ocean from the pool area Breakfast buffet has a good selection. Resort has delicious coffee machines but takes too long to make during busy times. 1st world problems.

Everything was great for us. but one needs to know before booking: 1)Noisy with planes flying over top of the hotel during the day, didn’t really bother us as we were not in our room that much. This resort is literally across the street from the end of the runway of Samui international airport! 2)Some guests complain about street noise at night, as it is in a central location, but we didn’t mind at all listening to music and people having a great time as we went to sleep. 3)Walls are not soundproof. 😁

De locatie is perfect. Het hotel ligt in drukke wijk met alle vertier. Alles is op loopafstand. Hotel ligt ook direct aan het strand. Ontbijten doe je in het open restaurant met uitzicht op de zee. Voor ontbijt kun je eieren krijgen in verschillende uitvoeren die live worden klaargemaakt. Verder is er fruit, salade, sneetjes brood en pancakes. Wij zaten op de begane grond. Handig anders moet je traplopen want er is geen lift. Je krijgt ook gratis rit van airport naar hotel of van hotel naar airport. Personeel is behulpzaam.

Er heerst een vieze schimmel/grondlucht in de kamers. (Begane grond kamers) Wellicht dat dit te maken had met regenwater maar weet het niet zeker. Heb hier melding van gemaakt want kon er gewoon niet van slapen… Als “oplossing” kwam men met een geurspray….verder nog wat mankementen dat het water ineens niet meer warm werd en lekkende kraan waardoor er grote waterplas op de grond lag. Dit is na mijn melding gelijk opgelost. Verder zijn de muren dun. Heb je luidruchtige buren (zoals wij die hadden) dan heb je er last van.

Nice hotel

Great hotel, very central. Lovely pool & lots of loungers. Rooms are nice & spacious, there was a nice shower too.

Receptionist was quite rude and seemed to be very focused on upgrading another woman he had been chatting to rather than checking us in. He kept putting out check in aside to chat with her. No lift to our room & we had heavy bagsb

A gem of a hotel!

I stayed here for a month and have to say everything was perfect! The location is amazing, facilities are great, for the price I paid I felt it was way above 3 star. Staff were fantastic and I will be recommending to my friends.

Good value and location

Great location. The room was a good size and clean.

I believe it was the area of the hotel I was in but the thud of music till 5am was every night. I would have joined in if I knew where it was coming from 😀

Budget resort in a bustling part of Koh Samui offering us a pleasant stay for a couple of nights

1. The staff are very friendly. 2. It's good value for money. 3. The breakfast buffet was very nice and had a good selection. 4. The location is great, you're right beside the beach and on the main street. 5. Door to beach was a 2 minute walk 6. Pool was clean 7. Poolside table service and a la carte menu

The only things I could find worng with the room. 1. The safe in the room didn't work and staff said if they locked it for us they might not be able to open it. 2. The pillows were uncomfortable, little too hard and too high for me. 3. The AC had a bad damp smell coming from it 4. No warm water from the shower
