It was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Excellent laundry facilities, an outside shower, lovely grounds, very peaceful.
It was a little disconcerting not having blinds or curtains at the full-length windows to the front. However as the property is so secluded one assumes they are not necessary.

The most amazing and relaxing accommodation I’ve ever stayed in 🤗 Whenever I think about Byron Bay the first thing that comes to mind is the Lily Pad. Attention to detail and a multitude of personal touches makes this property my one and only ‘go to’ place to stay and relax.
There’s absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.

The gardens where fantastic, the kitchen was perfect with high quality utensils.
It was relaxing and tranquil - the owners where lovely, Everything was well thought out .. The out door shower was perfect .
It is hard to beat and honestly one of if not the best we have ever stayed
The only thing which didn’t really bother us as it is cooler months ( April ) there was no AirCon , Had ceiling fans which was actually quite nice but might be a bit hot in warmer months .

Thank you Julie and Paul, for having me in this paradise of a studio! All the amenities in the studio were perfect for a short and longer stay- I felt right at home. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and immaculate! I appreciated your help with sorting out transportation while I was there. Bike riding in and out of town was so convenient, and such a gorgeous ride!
Everything about this place was truly an amazing retreat!

Beautiful apartment with stunning outlook to tropical gardens. Spacious lounge and outdoor area with modern furnishings. Beautiful apartment.
Luxurious accommodation, however some blockout blinds or curtains in the lounge would make it perfect. No bedroom door so the light streams in. I’m not a early riser.

The location setting , outdoor area and facilities were of high standard and thoroughly enjoyed it .
The hosts and especially Julie were helpful and friendly , privacy was not an issue and the whole stay we felt right at home .
I highly recommend Lily Pad and will stay again if I'm in Byron bay .
the lack of a bedroom door would be the only thing to dislike for me , but everyone has their own preferences .

Located within close proximity to town but felt like we were staying in the middle of a beautiful tropical rainforest. It was lovely to sit on the deck and have a cup of tea while hearing the birds sing.

The property was beautiful and the grounds exceptional. Julie, the host, went out of her way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. We arrived late in the evening and she supplied us with a lovely basket of produce, including fresh laid egges, bread, a few veggies, and lovely bottle of wine and some pasta and pasta sauce; to get us through till the morning when we could go and purchase some supplies.

Absolutely fabulous, the property has everything you could wish for and some. The gardens are stunning and there’s nothing we would change!
The weather but that’s not The Lily Pad’s fault!!! There is truly nothing to dislike 😊

We booked it for our honeymoon and the place was a perfect retreat for us. The place was very private which we loved and it felt tropical. The whole place was beautiful with gardens and outdoor patio. Also the outdoor shower was amazing! Would stay here again when we visit Byron the next time.

The Lily Pad is a secluded garden paradise with nature right on the doorstep, yet a short car trip away from the heart of Byron Bay. Run by a beautiful generous couple, it’s a must stay

The fact that you are only a few minutes drive to the centre of town, you wouldn't know it. This place is so comfortable and relaxed. You can wander around the grounds, look at the bountiful fruit trees and listen to the sounds of nature.
