If you're after peace & tranquility, then this is it.

Absolutely everything was perfect - the peace & tranquility, the dawn birdsong, the cool green of the forest & the snuggly-warm down-duvets. Nothing was lacking, we had everything we needed for a most memorable stay. We'll definitely be back again ;-)

My stay was peaceful, comfortable, quiet and refreshing

Staying during load shedding, the solar panels installed meant that I had constant WiFi and electricity throughout the day. This was fantastic, as I was working remotely and needed uninterrupted WiFi. The views were also spectacular.

Super rustic cabin, fantastic view. Lovely efficient fire. Very quiet and lovely local walks. Close to other amenities, Karkloof and the Country Club

The dis-connected bathroom on a cold couple of evenings. Could also have had electric blankets for the comfy beds.

A relaxing stay in a picture perfect location.

The Cabin is perfect. It is large, clean and has everything you need for a self catering stay. There was plenty of wood and the hosts were very quick to assist with additional requests.

Exceptional

The hosts were wonderful. The setting was beautiful. They have a few short walking trails around their farm as well as information about hiking in the area. As others mention, the bathroom is in off of the porch, so you do go outside to use it. But the bathroom is very nice and the short walkway is covered, so despite rain we stayed dry. We hope to be back soon.

Peaceful Escape

Beautifully decorated cosy cabin with a fireplace. The host was very accommodating. Near ziplining. Great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city

The bathroom is outside which can be a bit scary at night

It was comfortable and rejuvenating being in the forest and so close to nature.

The cabin was beautiful, unique and creative - it transported us to a different world. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for us and Peta was an exceptional host.

There was nothing we did not like about our stay.

I love going here!! It's so beautiful and peaceful!!! Peta is a wonderful hostess! Always makes you feel comfortable before your arrival, and is always available if necessary. The Cabin is stunning in decor, and this time, I even saw reedbuck.... what a spoil :-).

Perfect getaway

Location is excellent, a few minutes away from Karkloof canopy tours and 20min from Howick Falls. The cabin is quaint and beautiful, we felt immersed in nature among the trees. Absolutely quiet and peaceful.
