Aziz took care of us at every request, the location is great, really easy to find. The bed was comfortable and the room was big, The wifi is great in the location. Aziz accommodated our requests for vegetables for breakfast. At night the place was quiet. :)
Nothing :)

clean and comfortable rooms
the dinner booked in the riad was below expectations and quite expensive if u compare to other options in the city.
keep in mind that this riad is a bit further from the touristic streets so u can feel a bit less safe at night, specially if you are traveling alone

Amazing position
could be done more for the breakfast

The Riad is located in the heart of the Medina. The host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
While authentic, the Riad is dated and facilities need an upgrade. The beds were not very comfortable. The stairs are very steep and uneven and could be a challenge for some.

Very friendly and beautiful traditional place from morocco. I recommend it.

Location and helpfulness of staff, particularly Aziz.
A little dark. No bottled water in room or facility for making tea.

The guy working there helped us a lot: printing, taxi, searching acomodation for other friend,... so helpfull and kind. The second time we went there we got a huge and beautiful room. In general, team working there is so profesional :)

Excellent location, the Riad itself was very nice and quiet, with a very good terrace overlooking the medina.
The room was excellent, very big.
Breakfast was very good, almost as a brunch. We took it in the terrace, it is worthwhile.
Aziz was very friendly and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff.
The stay was wonderful, would go back again for sure.
Nothing.

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the old historic 9th century Medina of Fes was amazing! The rooms were designed in classic style, very spacious, with high wooden doors. The location in the heart of the old Medina within walking distance to shops, Hammam Mernissi where we treated ourselves to a relaxing massage and Bab Sahra Restaurant where we attended a cooking class on how to make Lemon Chicken Tagine. Aziz, the manager, was very kind and attentive and made sure we got what we wanted.
The steps were of different heights and sometimes quite high. That was a bit hard to climb with ease sometimes. The rooms tended to be dark, but I think that is deliberate because the sun can be very hot. Darkness keep the rooms cool.

It was a great experience staying in Riad Dar Tahri. Having this opportunity to feel the real Morrocan riad was the hightlight of our Morrocan trip. The interior of the riad is superb, showcasing the traditional Moroccan riad. The breakfast on the terrace was superb too.
The staffs, Abdul Aziz and the ladies, were helpful. Abdul Aziz took his time to show us around the medina and helped us to buy a morrocan carpet at a discounted price.

There were two of us. We had a lovely large room with excellent air conditioning.
Very important when you're in a 45-degree heatwave!
The Riad had a sense of such a long history, permeating it, with its decorations and antiques which we loved.
I'd never stayed in a Riad, which I guess translates as a "mansion house," but it was lovely.
The staff was exceptional.
Full marks to the chef in the kitchen, the lady who prepared our lovely breakfasts.
But a very big thank you to Aziz, who runs the place.
He was so charming, relaxed and helpful and arranged for us to be picked up at the train station by cab (we asked). Then he met us at the Blue Gate and walked us into the Medina so we wouldn't get lost.
Thank you Aziz for everything.
Oh,also the location is excellent, you are in the medina, but also close to the exit, so no problems as you are close to transport, cabs etc or whatever else you need.

We liked it all. And it's good value for money!

The location was great and the room was a good size. The terrace was nice. The staff is accommodating. It's good value for the price. Nice and quiet street.
It's dated and could use some TLC. The staff, while accommodating, had to be promoted for almost everything, and you could tell they didn't want to be in the hotel business. We traveled for almost three weeks in Morocco, and this was the most unfriendly staff personnel. The environment at this hotel was very different from all the other lodging in the country. This hotel is the only place I would not go back to stay.

The staff and the breakfast really make this place amazing. We forgot some items and they made sure to get them to us and were super timely and communicative. aziz is incredible! is one of the best that we had in the entire stay across the country
they do need to update the sheets which were pilling and a little old but everything was spotlessly clean and they redid the room each day without us requesting this.

A wonderful stay. The location just inside the Medina by the Blue Gate is perfect. Aziz was charming and ever so helpful. The fairy tale breakfast on the roof was pure magic. Next time we will book here again!

A very traditional Riad not far the iconic Blue Gate which is useful if you get lost in fes, (very easy to do)! and need to ask for directions. the staff were very helpful in arranging things like taxi to the airport and finding a good guide to see the sights. the room we had was spacious with plenty of hot water and air con/ heating if you are coming in the cool season. Breakfast was ample and plentiful. despite being in the Medina close the busy streets it was quiet and peaceful.
nothing
