Convenient, but needs attention.

The convenience of the great restaurant downstairs. The food was well presented and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful, There was good secure off road parking. It was close to our next destination. The room and bathroom were newly renovated and well fitted.

The Wi-fi and TV did not work, despite all efforts from the staff. If you need to do work on your phone or computer this is unavailable. If you want to just relax and watch TV, also not possible. There was a noisy young crowd, shouting and knocking on doors in the corridor at 10pm.

I loved this place I would stay here again.

The rooms were certainly surprising they were very clean, neat and very spacious.

There was no microwave and the secure door leading to accommodations wasn’t secure it was ajar if you didn’t close it behind you.

location, amenities and on site restaurant

when I checked in they were going to put me in an upstairs room. My original booking was made in January 2022 while I was staying there. the booking was for July 2022 but had to be rescheduled to January due to flooding causing the event I was attending to be postponed. I had requested a downstairs room at the time of the original booking and requested it again when I had to reschedule

Superb

The hotel is in a very convenient location and the accommodation is comfortable, clean and great value for money. The pub food is excellent. The service is likewise excellent. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. The facilities around the hotel are also very good - great cafes, chemist, supermarket etc all within walking distance. Perfect for travellers.
