Everything was beautiful 😍, especially the esthetic.
I couldn't get to the snow 😞 , loading shedding was a real damper although there was mobile lights , a generator would have been a bonus.

View and had space with 4 bedrooms plus great dam and walks
No electric blankets , one heater didn’t work so we were very cold. Place couches to see the magnificent views.

Everything is beyond expectations it was an amazing place and a wonderful environment. It's safe and absolutely neat. The management team was exceptional. Everything is at the facility which you won't find at other self catering Chalets. Definitely will be going back and the helpers are wonderful and very polite.

The scenery is spectacular. The accommodation had a homely feel - I honestly didn't want to leave!

Excellent location. Superbly equipped. Awesome views. Peaceful surroundings.
As load-shedding is most definitely not a new thing in SA we would have expected the place to be better equipped in terms of back-up lighting. The existing light worked for 15 mins only. The resort and campsite across the road had back-up power which made no sense why this place did not. Extreme weather also caused sporadic blackouts so a more efficient back-up system (at least lighting) would be great especially at a accommodation rate of just under $200/night

Beautiful clean home. The owner prepared us for loadshedding. Not having electricity on this property is not a problem, just go outside and watch the stars. There are lovely walks. The shop is within walking distance, and it has everything you need as far as souvenirs and groceries are concerned. This was our second visit, and definitely not the last. Highly recommended. Bring binoculars if you enjoy bird watching.

Position, a nice garden
Electric power off a twice per day.
The house smells of a crisol (wood roof structure was painted by it) and all the house smells of it

Its very difficult to review a place we didn't actually stay at, however on arrival we found the place musty and dank and very hot and decided to book a place elsewhere. You don't see the view and that's what you go there for.
The outside area is in the blazing sun with no shelter with a metal table and chairs that would burn if you sat at them. This area is also where you park a car and the beautiful view is completely obstructed by hedging. An umbrella stand does not seem to have an umbrella to go with it. The inside needs an update, there is one fan for the whole house and the windows have to stay closed because of the monkeys. Its very stuffy, musty and unpleasant.

Beautiful accommodation with amazing views.

The property was advertised as luxury but unfortunately the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. The shower door in no 6 was broken and off the rails and the shower in no 11 caused a flood in the bathroom. The fans could not stand up on their own and some did not work at all. Rather disappointing accommodation.

The peace and tranquility was just the best. Loved having a fire at night. View of the mountains was exceptionally beautiful.

Location was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery and I was very surprised to see baking pans etc. in the drawers. Beds were very comfortable.

U should invest in generators. The power was out for 6 hrs a day. Also u need to upgrade ur pillows and linen.

Well equipped and very comfortable.
The main bedroom was unavailable, which was a problem as we had two girls, three women and one boy.

The property was beautiful with so much for our children to do. They could ride their bikes safely around, play at the jungle gym or swim in the pool. Each evening, the horses and zebras would come and graze right outside our kitchen window! The unit itself was so well equipped - it had a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There was so much attention to detail , like adapters and candles with matches and little items to make the stay more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this for families with children. We will most certainly book again!

The location was beautiful. The unit had mountain views and the whole resort was very well maintained.
The cupboards were too small to hang clothes in.

I did not have breakfast
Since electricity outages are common , maybe the resort could consider investing in a generator or gas stove . There was a power outage whilst we were there - with the cold and the rain it was not easy to have our dinner prepared . .
