Great location & parking for where we needed to be, bed needs replacing and the noise was an issue.

Room was lovely and clean, which is always a bonus and the staff that we saw were lovely. The hotel was only just around the corner from the event we were attending at the Town Hall, so the location was ideal. Massive bonus was the fact that we could park right outside in the disabled bays all day and night, without the need to move our car. We didn't realise the bays were there until the day before and we'd originally thought that my hubby would have to drop me off and then go and find the car park near to the Town Hall. He'd then have to bring my wheelchair and all of the luggage up to the room. But that parking bay was a lifeline, thank you to Birmingham council for that!

The bed was not comfy at all, I've got spinal problems so you'd expect it not to be good for me, but my hubby really struggled with it too. It wasn't ideal that the shower was over the bath as I really struggled to get in and out, but I lived to tell the tale! Also the noise from the nearby bars and clubs was horrendous until the early hours, which wasn't helped by someone screeching around in a sports car for hours!! It was a Saturday night of a bank holiday weekend though, so it's to be expected in the city centre.

think the menus and tables could do with a clean once they have been used. menus where sticky and tables still had bits on

Lovely Hotel perfect location

The hotel is ideally situated both being above Witherspoons and being the centre of Birmingham. Also despite the location the room was very quite.

Really being picky the only things I could criticise is lack of milk in the room for the tea/coffee and the TV in our room being in an odd place. But these really are very minor points

Exceeded My Expectations!

Great location just a couple of minutes walk from New Street Station. The hotel room was really comfortable and fantastic value for the price paid. Staff were all super-friendly and helpful. I hadn't expected it to be very good as it was so cheap but was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend this place.

Perfektes Preis-Leistungsniveau in sehr zentraler Lage

Perfekte, sehr zentrale Lage. Sehr liebevolle Einrichtung mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter:innen. Alles genau wie auf den Bildern. Bequemes Bett, alles sauber. Der angeschlossene Pub ist morgens für Hotelgäste schon ab 7.00 geöffnet und man kann sich leckeren Kaffee und auch Tee selber am Automaten holen. Im Zimmer auch Tee- und Kaffeezubereitung möglich. Frühstück wird im Pub bis 12.00 serviert - gute Auswahl in guter Qualität (gutes Angebot auch für vegetarische und vegane Ernährung) zu gutem Preis! Bis abends durchgehend warme Pub-Küche.

Einziges Minus war das eher schlechte WLAN - alles andere Top!!

Convenient location close to New Street Station within easy reach of the museums and Cathedral.

Great little hotel and very good price.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location. Rooms was very spacious.

Some noise from the street in middle of night made it difficult to get to sleep.

Great value, clean, comfortable, excellent location, polite and pleasant staff

Staff were very helpful and professional. Location of hotel is excellent in city centre. Room in hotel was comfortable, very clean, tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities provided as well as a bottle of water each and some biscuits. Towels provided, hairdryer and shower gel/hand soap. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend as brilliant location to enjoy a night out. Considering location we didn’t hear any noise in the room and had a great nights sleep. Was handy to have the restaurant attached so even easier to get good food and drink at very reasonable prices.

Unfortunately the lift was out of order, which couldn’t be helped and we were informed about this beforehand. We had the option to change or cancel the booking without any extra charges. We decided to go ahead regardless and didn’t really make too much difference to our stay , we just got a few extra steps in lol

Parfait pour une nuit quand on veut découvrir la ville

Emplacement central et pourtant silencieux.

Ascenseur en panne, heureusement nous étions au 2ème étage. Meubles vieillots. Vue sur la cage d’escaliers de l’immeuble d’en face allumée toute la nuit, heureusement qu’il y a des rideaux.

Very comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend!

The room was really clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Amazing value for the price and the location in central Birmingham is perfect, would definitely recommend!

It took us a while to figure out how to turn the heating down so it was quite hot in the room for a while. Unfortunately the lift was out of order and we were on the 5th floor but obviously something like that is not a quick fix!

A nice end to a great night at the Utilitia

Central location. Easy access. You can have your meals there including breakfast. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

A great nights stay

The location was perfect. Convenient for the station and utilita stadium. Warm and friendly reception, clean and tidy room. They advised before arriving that the lift was out of order, but being on the 2nd floor, that wasn't an issue.

The room was a little warm on arrival but soon rectified that by turning the heating down and pulling back the double glazed window.

ニューストリートステーションからのアクセスが良いところ、1階がウィザースプーンと言うレストランがあるので、昼夜問わず飲み物食事が可能

事前に連絡があったものの、エレベーターが故障。1日目は5階だったので荷物を持って上がらなければいけなかった。またWi-Fiが良くなく結果2日目部屋を変えてもらってそれは解消した。

Nice staff, comfort not so much

Close location in town and to venue. Nice helpful staff. Convenient & comparatively cheap

Booked double room was given queen sized smaller Bed, Bed matress uncomfortable needs replacing, non-feather pillow was hard a rock (being vegetarian I didn't want to sleep on the feather one but had forgotten to tell them.....forgot they had feather bedding!), bedside lamp had faulty wiring and would go on and off like a disco light. Lift was out of action again much like last visit a couple of years ago

Grdat central location. Staff were great and really helpful.

Getting over a foot injury and room was on the 3rd floor but lift out of order for the duration of our stay.

As a disabled guest it was a nice touch to have meals delivered to our room from the wetherspoons restaurant attached. The room was lovely and cosy and with it being in a busy location you didn't hear what was going on outside. Staff were friendly and informative.

I'm sorry but I cannot really think of any negative points.

Nice friendly staff - room clean and fairly quiet until the lorry arrived in the morning to drop barrels! Advised which room to book for a quiet stay..

With every necessary facility (and more) provided well, I would happily stay again.

Staff came and helped me when I was stuck in the bath (due to health issues - not the bath), and offered me disabled facilities at no extra charge. The food was excellent, and staff went above and beyond to help me in all ways. The hotel was central to town, and perfect for transport links. I could top up with as much coffee from the bar as I wanted, or make it in my room. The room was key card secure, with flat screen TV, hairdryer, ironing facilities, linen, and bedding. Towles were refreshed and the room cleaned daily - if required. My room was easily accessible by lift. The room was comfortable, clean, and in good condition. Despite the one drawback, I would not hesitate to stay again.

Deliveries of barrels meant that I was disturbed in the early morning, but (in fairness) I had chosen not to use the ear plugs offered so that I could hear my alarm. This was my choice, and the hotel did offer this offer in advance.
