Could be lovely if clean

The location was great. The breakfast tickets worked for us. The view when you were on the balcony was lovely.

Messaged the owner through Booking.com 1 hour before arrival again at 10 mins. They said they didnt receive them as communication is difficult. Had to wait 20 minutes at night after calling them. The apartment was not clean, crockery was filthy, shower head needs descaling, shower curtain was mouldy, human hair was hanging out of the basin pipe and the window glass was smeared. There was a 7 hour power cut whilst there, not the owners fault, but there were no candles, matches, or torches in the apartment.

Mooie locatie, maar afwerking en inrichting op doe het zelf niveau.

De Ben B ligt middenin het historische centrum, vlak bij de beroemde trap. Hulp bij het parkeren bij aankomst.

Inrichting is sober en kaal, op wat verdwaalde tegelwanden na. Afwerking op hobby-niveau, met zelf getimmerde planken. Er staat niet meer dan het hoogst noodzakelijke en wat andere gasten achterlaten aan foldertjes , plattegronden en instapkaarten aan toe. En helaas ook weer het vieze douchegordijn met een natte vloer. Omgeving nogal vuil met gedumpte opengescheurde vuilniszakken en massa's duivenpoep.

Zentrale Wohnung mit schönem Ausblick

- Sehr nette Begrüßung durch die Besitzerin - Balkon mit schönem Ausblick - Sehr gute, zentrale Lage - Willkommens-Getränk der Besitzerin

- Parken vor der nahegelegenen Kirche möglich, allerdings sehr enge und teils steile Straßen, für uns ging dies problemlos, man sollte sich dessen aber bewusst sein

It was an interesting town.

The room was good .

It was difficult to find as the navigation system in the car directed me through streets my car wouldn’t not fit through. Parking was hard to find and we just got lucky.

Very good

Spacious bright apartment with a view near the historic center. We had no problem parking within a short distance from the accommodation. Breakfast in the form of a €3 voucher was fine for us - you can choose from several places and all of them are pleasant

We were a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the bathroom - especially the curtain and the plastic mat in the shower could be replaced. Some equipment already shows the signs of time (e.g. the shelf in the bathroom does not hold, etc.)

Perfect gem to discover this lovely town. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We loved this little gem in this funky town. Francesco met us at our car so that we could have a parking spot. Helped with the luggage and was super friendly. The appartment is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, perfect placing to discover the town, comfy bed, spacious shower, lovely balcony. Everything was great, we'd stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Caltagirone. Light, fresh and perfect base.

Very good

It was very clean. Also, the host gave us a voucher to a nearside bar where we had coffee and very good brioches

The espresso couldn't be used to make coffee in the room as there wasn't any piece of iron ring for the stove. The water from it evaporated every time:-) and resulted in minced fried coffee:-) , instead

Lovely town! nice apt.

great view from balcony helped us find parking and it was free she was good at sharing information and about what to see clean

difficult to find and she was a little sarcastic “it’s 1. 1 ie 11.” yes but the numbers aren’t in order and we walked in the hot sun for an hour. would have been better to give some instructions that are helpful check in is 4 pm and check out is 10:30 but you have to arrange a time to meet so didn’t check in til 5. Breakfast included but you get a $3 coupon so really coffee included not breakfast

good location, but let down by lack of heating

fantastic view from balcony over to Mediterranean. very well equipped flat

the heating had not been put on in advance and as temperatures outside were low and the building was of stone, with tiled floors, we were very cold the entire time. the heating had little effect (a fan) although it was on for hours. had there been rugs on the floors that would have helped a little - the floors felt icy cold. we went to bed early just to get warm

Would 100% recommend

Everything was very clean, wifi was good, it is in the heart of old town, so everything is at the walking distance. Also the kitchen is well equiped. The host was very attentative and kind, also gave us few advice and a little bit of history of the town and helped us find a parking spot! Morning coffee at the balcony with a great view was a big bonus! We enjoyed our short stay!

Lovely b&b in the middle of Caltagironne

Great location and a comfortable apartment with walls filled with ceramic tiles from Caltagironne. Breakfast was at a local bar 2 minutes walking distance. Definitely recommended.

Superb

The location is superb, just few minutes walking from the main attractions. The flat was very clean and the hosts simply fantastic!

The flat has a steep staircase at the entrance that might not be easy to do with luggages or for elderly people. The bedroom is missing is own air con.
