No A/C. Way too hot. Noisy at night.

Everything, kitchen well fitted out, staples included in pantry were great. Easy walk into main street on well lit path to a variety of restaurants & a great pub.

There was a bit of an odour each time we returned to unit?? Opening sliding doors quickly cleared odour though.

Location was great. The apartment was filthy and all the furniture covered in mould and mildew. It was hard to sleep and breath while staying there. My sun was wheezing the whole time and even though I called the property manager she said she couldn’t do anything. I sent photos to the property manager and they didn’t follow up or call. There is no aircon and only a dehumidifier which we had to empty 3-4 times each day. It was anything but a perfect stay. The apartment was filthy when we arrived even though a cleaning team had been there. The bedrooms were neat and tidy and the linen was clean but that’s the only thing that was done to prepare the apartment fir guests. The BBQ was also covered in rust and mould and there is no way I would cook on it. The only good thing I can say about the apartment is it’s location. The management of this apartment is lacking and no one would do anything about its state. We paid nearly $8000 for 4 days and this is totally unacceptable for the quality of accommodation we found. I never write a negative review but I want this to be a warning to any Rhee family planning to stay here to get your money back and find alternative accommodation. If we could have gone elsewhere we would have but Byron Bay was at capacity and there was no other accommodation available. I have taken many photos to support my complaint.

The apartment was filthy with mould. Furniture was covered in mould. The BBQ was full of rust and mould and the smell of mildew was overwhelming. There is no aircon and the fans were inadequate. This is absolutely a rip off for the money we were charged and I will be making a formal complaint. I sent photos to The property manager and got no response. They totally ignored us and didn’t even try to assist us. They said due to COVID, there was nothing they could do. That doesn’t even make any sense. I would love to post photos to warn others who have sent money in good faith to warn them not to stay here. If there is a way to send them through with my review please let me know and I will send them to add to my review.

Great location, easy walk to the centre of Byron and to the beaches.
