Property was exactly as described. The house was very well stocked with everything you could think of and then some. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Beach was about a 7 minute very easy walk.

We loved our stay in Fort Lauderdale. We had a few minor cleanliness issues but the hosts were very accommodating and responsive. There is a telephone that sometimes rings in the master bedroom but a very minor issue. The home owners are very helpful and respond very quickly if anything js neeed.

Perfect Family Beach house
Fantastic home walking distance to the beach! Very clean. They had everything we needed including a high chair for our toddler. Pool is perfect and we loved lounging in the screened in porch area. They have great wagons and chairs to take the quick walk to the beach. Would absolutely stay here again! (If you have a child crawling to maybe 18 months, note that the living room is sunken and requires a step up and down. It can’t really be baby proofed)

Great spring break escape
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. The backyard was like a tropical oasis and super private. The layout of the house was awesome and everything was very well stocked. The hosts were very communicative and responsive as well. We had a great time and would stay again in the future!

The house is commodious with a large living space, kitchen and screened in porch area that leads to a well maintained and tropical feeling backyard with a large pool. The neighborhood is very nice and the house is a very short walk to the beach.

Great time!
We were coming to town for The Who concert and were lucky enough to stay in our favorite house in Ft.Lauderdale. It was immaculate as usual and we had wonderful weather to enjoy the pool and the beach! We always look forward to coming back!

Great bday getaway at a beautiful home
First off the property is gorgeous. No detail was overlooked. The location cannot be beat. It truly was a wonderful beach getaway and made my bday special and fun.
But the best part was the friendliness, professionalism and responsiveness of Alan. One minor snafu and he made sure it was immediately addressed and fixed. This greatly impressed my group. We can't wait to go back next year!!

Fabulous house close to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea!
Keep in mind that this review is coming from a very discerning renter! Don’t pass this one by! It’s absolutely perfect and the owners are so accommodating! First, the location couldn’t have been better: a block from the beach, great restaurants and fun little downtown. The interior is beautifully decorated and has both an updated well stocked kitchen and baths. The bonus is the screened in porch where we spent most of our days and the built in pool which was set at just the right temperature. I can’t say enough!!! We will be back!

Perfect vacation
We stayed for 10 days at this beautiful house April 8-17. We are a North Carolina couple and were joined by a couple we’re good friends with from Texas. Everyone had plenty of space and enjoyed the large den with equally large tv, fully equipped kitchen, and the fabulous screened porch across the entire rear of the house! Every day we began with breakfast on the porch, followed by time in the wonderful saltwater pool (no chlorine smell, bleached swimsuits or dry skin!) plenty of places around to eat, our favorites were the iconic Chatham House, Aruba by the pier, and for Italian we went to Cafe Europa in Ft. Lauderdale, 15 minutes away to the shops and restaurants on fabulous Las Olas. An added fun activity was an Everglades tour by airboat! Highly recommend! This house would be perfect for 2 couples or families. Maybe a bit large for one couple. But the setting in a nice residential neighborhood and gorgeous landscaping make it a very special place for a vacation.

Every review of this house was spot on. Great neighborhood, walking distance to the beach plus minutes to the adorable downtown” Lauderdale-by-the-Sea! “The house was beautifully updated and meticulously kept. They had everything you could want if you were preparing meals at home. We mostly are out. One of our top suggestions is La Cucina. A husband and wife team. Enrique was cooking up fabulous Italian food and homemade bread in the kitchen and his wife was waiting tables. I come from an Italian family and can honestly say this was top notch. Another suggestion is the Blue Moon Fish Co. Back to the house: the pool was newer and kept at a lovely temp the entire stay. We had some cool weather and it was great to still be able to swim.
The master bedroom had a wonderful newer bath with a door leading to pool for easy access. The beds were all really comfortable too! Would definitely come back for another stay!

Fantastic house in great location
The house is in a gated location within Lauderdale By The Sea, the road itself felt very safe and all the neighbours we met were very freindly. With young children we found the walk to the beach to be about 10 minutes but there is also plenty of parking if you choose to drive.
There are also many grocery stores within a short distance which was handy.
The house itself was a great size, very well decorated and very clean. In addition the pool was great and was a really good temperature whenever we needed it which is unusual for vacation rental properties.
Another great feature which is again unusual was that the house was really well stocked with the essentials for cooking which really makes a difference when you are only staying for a short time.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend the house to friends.

A Little Slice of Paradise!
We had such a wonderful time at this house in April! We were two couples, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out in different areas if we wanted to, or gather in the den, the very large screened porch, or around the gorgeous pool. It is a three bedroom, so it would easily accomodate 6 people. Truly, this house is even more beautiful and spacious than it appears in photos! The decorating, furnishings, landscaping and attention to detail all are fabulous. Everything was clean and neat, including the sparkling pool, and it is obviously well cared for. The kitchen has everything you could want and more. The open plan works very well, and with all the sliding doors open in the den there is a lovely open feel out to the screened porch and pool. The ceiling fans on the porch kept us cool, and we cooked out on the grill and sat on the porch many evenings, as well as enjoying breakfast out there in the mornings. Such a tranquil and private setting, on a quiet residential street. Lauderdale by the Sea is a nice small community, and there are grocery stores (a small Publix and a large Winn-Dixie) and restaurants nearby. Our favorite place for a nice meal was at a local long standing place called Chatham House, but there are lots of other options close by. The walk to the beach is just as described, an easy 7 or 8 minutes at most, on a walkway and across the street with a crosswalk and light. And if you want more to do, Ft. Lauderdale is about 10 minutes away with fantastic shopping on Las Olas, and many restaurants. What more could you ask for? We had excellent communications with Alan, and we look forward to returning here next spring! Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us Alan!

Great House and Location!
Alan and Tim have done a great job creating a holiday property. We have previously rented houses in Fort Lauderdale for the past 4 years and this one is the best by far. The house is nicely decorated but practical with leather sofas and tile floors throughout and the lanscaping in the yard is beautifully done. A big plus is the screened in porch along the back of the house. A great place for dinners or just lounging around. Everything you need is here and if there are any issues Alan is very responsive. We rented the property for a month and halfway through a cleaning service came in to change beds etc. As part of our rental fee. This is first time we have experienced this. At times we felt that we were at a hotel! We liked it so much that we booked it for next year.

Excellent, exceeded our expectations!
We knew we paid full price for high season, and expected the best for it, but from the moment we opened front door, our expectations were exceeded in so many ways. The home looks like it was completely remodeled inside in the last year or two.
Very solid, heavy duty, high quality doors and windows, with glass that feels like bulletproof.
Tile floor throughout, very nice looking and practical. Open floor plan, large kitchen, granite counters, huge leather sectional in the middle of great room, very nice modern artwork throughout, all furniture in the house is high quality, NOT "IKEA type", drapes, rods and all linen are very high quality. Master bedroom shower and bathroom #2 very nicely updated, modern and tastefully designed. Spacious walk-in closets with convenient shelving.
Pool area is laid out with a "Spanish (?)" brick as shown on main photo, creates very warm and cozy feeling. Pool was WARM 90% of the time, sometimes VERY warm which was perfect for our family with 4 children, especially on days when it wasn't sunny. This alone probably accounts for 50% of our overall satisfaction because homes we stayed at in the past pool heating wasn't as good.
Water faucet in front of home and shower in the back of the house were useful/convenient, when sandy feet. Screened patio area - very relaxing and cozy, we had most of our dinners there. One person in our party slept all nights on the couch in there, very comfy, didn’t even want to use the bedroom. Laundry washer and dryer are in the garage, with all supplies provided. No lack of beach towels, as well as shower towels. We had to do at least one wash daily, so laundry facilities were a must for us, and everything worked fine. 3 front door key copies provided - very convenient. Infant pack-&-play provided, a must for us, various pool floaties / toys provided, various beach items provided, not a lot but just enough, and exactly what we needed, all in the garage. Owner even purchased brand new tea kettle for our use.
Location perfect. Quiet, safe, residential street, 300m from A1A, 500m from ocean.
Owner was responsive to my text messages within minutes most of the time, so communication was excellent. Security deposit was refunded to me the NEXT business day after we departed, which is LIGHTNING FAST compared to my prior experiences, where it sometimes took up to 10 business days to INITIATE deposit.

Great Vacation
We recently spent a week in Ft. Lauderdale in this home. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed having the screened porch and spent most of our time relaxing there and in the pool while at the house. The home is very close to everything you might need as well as the beach. We dined at Aruba Café and enjoyed the Friday night music festival in the street at Lauderdale By The Sea. The owners were great to work with and provided all the necessary details ahead of our arrival. Would highly recommend this rental.
