Will stay again here the next time if it is available

Good location and near a really good breakfast place about 2.5 blocks away.

It's so quiet that you can literally hear a pin drop! But it's not a criticism.

Good

The position was great, loved the verandah in the sun and the heating worked a treat

Needed a blind on the bathroom window and a plug for the bathroom sink. The kitchen taps made such loud thudding noises when using them we were worried we would wake the neighbours. Frypan needs replacing as it is all buckled

Handy location for a short getaway

It's location was good, it had all the facilities ie washing machine, cooker etc. Parking provided at rear of property. it was quiet. Beds and bedding were comfortable and clean

The kitchen taps couldn't be used as the air in the pipes made the loudest noise, so we had to use the laundry sink. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Better explanation of going around the block to reach the parking area would be good. That's it really

Pleasant stay in a roomy and comfortable townhouse close to town.

The apartment was within easy walking distance from an Aldi store which made it simple to pick up food. As an old townhouse, the ceilings were very high which kept it cool on what were quite warm days. Very clean throughout with cooking and laundry equipment. Made for an easy stay to catch up on washing and relax. Also close to the Ballarat Art Gallery and the centre of town. A longer walk to the lake but 2 minute drive in the car. Good parking out the back.

The townhouse is quite close to the railway line and we were disturbed on both nights by trains coming in and out quite late. There were no flyscreens on the windows and we could not seem to open the downstairs ones. Wouldn't be suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs as there are steps to the entry and stairs to the upper floor. A steep flight of steps leads to the carpark out the back.

Would love to stay again; such a lovely place to stay

The property is a beautiful townhouse that had everything available. We felt very much at home and were extremely comfortable.

Great location.

The property is tired and could do with a face lift in all areas. There were limited supplies in the kitchen (1 tea towel, 2 bread knives with some pots and pans) and for 3 guests we were supplied 2 bathroom towels for a weeks stay.

Superb

Property was in an attractive building, good location, convenient to town and lake. Loved the gas heater, worked very well.

No dish rack or gloves for washing up. Outside bins were far away from back door and not labelled. Would have preferred carpet in the bedroom.

Great location and apartment let down by cleanliness and attention to detail.

Great location, easy walk to CBD and supermarket great base for exploring the area.

Property was very dusty, fridge and stove, especially the oven were dirty, cutlery drawer had food crumbs etc in amongst the cutlery, had to wash crockery and cutlery before use, cushions on lounges stained, under lounge cushions and lounges not cleaned in a long time with the amount of rubbish and dust under them, no pillowcases if you needed extra pillow, cigarette burn on one bedspread, stain on another, no window covering on bathroom window a bit disconcerting when showering, All in all needs a good clean and a bit more attention to detail.

comfortable main bed. great shower pressure. lovely area.

lack of general cleaning, dusty and all crockery we used had to be washed beforehand as previous guests hadn’t cleaned properly. We understand the property is old but owner didn’t seem too concerned when one of the upstairs floorboards broke under the bed in second room. Our daughter was too worried to walk on the floor in that room so we ended up having her mattress on the floor in our room. could do with some new cushions to replace stained ones and a good vacuum of downstairs rug.

The crumbs on the cupboards, the dirty freezer and outside of fridge, the uncomfortable sofa, the expectation that the guest was to sweep and wash floors, the poor quality and size bed linen and towels

Very good

Spacious townhouse with a full kitchen, laundry and great balcony. Host provided clear instructions and we really enjoyed our stay.

The pedestal fan in the main bedroom wasn’t working and the kitchen had a leaking tap. Really minor issues.

Location good, everything worked, has stairs and does not suit small kids or disabled. Value very good.

GREAT location. Beautiful area and old buildings including this apartment. Would stay again.

The requirements to clean up on checkout are poor considering the apartment was not found in a clean state. I would suggest hiring a professional cleaner. Areas that I found specifically dirty were fridge, bathroom, floors and surfaces. Some bedding had marks and stains on them. The queen bed was the most uncomfortable sleep I have had on a bed, I required a neck massage the day after our first night. Consecutive nights, I then had to strategically place 4 pillows to ensure I was supported properly. Heating was below average, maybe just not what I am used to. No instructions for WiFi, I assume to connect the owners needed to be contacted, something we didn't bother with.

walking distance to the river.

we didn't have aircon to the two bedrooms but heaters were there. if its a hot day we would have definitely found difficult.
