Located in Jamaica Beach, this lovely house for $503 per night is a great choice for your next break. Sandpiper’s Song One of the few A-frame homes in Jamaica Beach with light sea blue color and stylish yellow doors with seating areas throughout the property. 3 BDRM- 3 1/2 bath. All queen mattresses replaced in Jan 2024 with Casper select. Sleeps 9 with charming loft in shared space upstairs. Master bathroom completely renovated with white subway tile to ceiling in shower with gray hexagon accent tile and flooring. Shiplap walls and ceiling in master and recent hardwood floors installed. Kitchen is equipped with quartz countertops, stainless appliances, glass-top stove and farmhouse sink. New hardwood floors throughout main house and wood accents on ceiling and beam in gathering room. Large deck that has subtle night lighting and provides a beautiful canal view. Put your feet up and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from this quiet place. Two large bedrooms on ground floor that walk out to deck and sitting areas. Each room has a queen bed and one room has a twin built in above. These bedrooms are separated by a sliding door and are equipped with full bathrooms and each has own access to outdoors. Once you walk outside there are swinging chairs and benches set up for relaxing in the shade on a hot day. In addition to all of the deck and porch seating, there is a pergola with outside party lights and built in seating. Perfect place to enjoy the outdoors during family meals. Or you can go to the bench by the water to watch your family swim in the canal. Some of the additional amenities include: -Fishing poles, and you can fish right off the private dock. Alternatively, you can walk to the end of the road and fish at the popular spot at the intersection of Flamingo Way and Sandpiper RD. We thought this property had a lot to offer. We were able to visit the beach, hang out on the canal in our rafts, and also visited the neighborhood pool, so really enjoyed the variety. The house itself is so cute and full of character, and tastefully decorated. The owner was very nice and communicative, and they had everything we needed to make the stay simple and fun!

Clean. Lots of room. Outside stairs between 2 stories. Nice shady boat slip with swings in a square. We spent a lot of time there. Stairs may be an issue for young children or anyone having trouble going up & down stairs. But very nice & clean. Owner very responsive and gave us check in and check out information before we even asked.

We decided on a quick trip to Galveston just before school started back up. It took us 2 days searching VRBO to find a place to stay. We happened upon this gem and it was perfect. We only got to stay 3 nights, bc it was a quick trip, this was entirely too short. Next time we'll go straight to this listing and book it. It was perfect for the 9 of us!

If you're looking for a place to stay don't pass this one up!! We arrived didn't even leave the house AT ALL on one of the days except to run down to the local grocery. Didn't need to. We swam, kayaked, fished right from the deck. Maryann is amazing to work with. She stayed in constant communication with us. Neighbors were great, too. Even told us to let him know if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this magnificent home for your next vacation.

The house was cleaned for our arrival, owner responded very quickly and quiet area for the families to enjoy. We had a great time however sad that we couldn’t catch as many fishes by the property. Our kids loved this place.

We had a wonderful time catching up with our TAMUG Son. It was a relaxing weekend, fishing right out the back door, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make him home cooked meals!! Would definitely consider staying again!! Thank You for such a wonderful stay, and Gig ‘Em!!

We stayed with our family of 6 and my friend’s family of 4 joined us. We enjoyed the beach and paddle boarding/kayaking/fishing in the canal. It was nice to have the shady dock to hang out on. We rented a golf cart where they dropped off and picked up. It was perfect to take the quick drive to the beach in and avoid the sand in the vehicle.

My family and I had a great 2 day stay. Maryanne met us at the house which made for an easy check in process. We had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed fishing and the kayaks and paddle boards were a blast! We will definitely be back!

Very good communication with the owner, house is wonderful for a family fun vacation. Kids loved the kayaking, fishing and bikes (all available and in good condition). Also talked with several of the neighbors and all very nice and helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything more for my family vacation.

This was our 2nd summer to rent the cabin, and it was just amazing as the 1st time. The 1st thing I noticed was that the flowers and grape vines were in full bloom and very beautiful! Maryann welcomed us with a warm smile and showed the updates from last year.
This time we took advantage of using the huge float, and the kids had a blast.
Maryann was very informative by letting us know the day before arrival that the main A/C unit had gone out. She let us that it would be taken care of before we arrived, and it was. She had gotten a portable A/C to help the smaller window units keep up, she also had a A/C contractor bring out a bigger portable unit the day we arrived. The cabin was nice and cool, and all units worked perfectly together. No issues! No complaint! We even had to turn the window unit in the master up some because it got very cold at night. Manyann was wonderful and checked in on us a few times, making sure the cabin was cool.
The sweet little old man next door was so nice and spoke to us every night, about fishing and living at Jamacia Beach. Very friendly!
We had a blast as we knew we would from the summer before. We will be back!

Perfect for family vacation!
This was the perfect place to rent in Jamaica Beach! Plenty of room for 6 adults, two teens and a 2 yr old. The canals were relaxing and We had access to several kayaks. The house was furnished with everything you could possibly want. You had easy access to the beach and fishing off the back deck. Maryann made sure everything was perfect!

We had the best time visiting Texas for the first time! The house was perfect. We had a party of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone! So much to do with the canal being right out the backdoor! The beach was a short drive away! Maryanne was very responsive and excellent to work with! We will definitely be back!

One of our best family vacations ever!!!
This property is wonderful! We chose it for our annual family vacation. Normally, we rent a beach house, but decided to try a canal house this time, and it did not disappoint. First of all, it was SUPER clean and well-appointed with everything we needed. There is a lot to do at the house…kayaks, paddleboards, fishing and crabbing gear, and more. We loved all of the porch swings in the shaded area, and there’s plenty of seating on the upstairs deck, too. The furniture looks new, and the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The beach is only a mile away, so we were able to enjoy the best of the bay and the beach. We will be back!!

It is about a 15-20 minute drive from Jamaica Beach to the main touristy part of Galveston and grocery stores, so others should be aware of that. We would definitely stay here again though!

Absolutely loved this house!
This house has everything you need for the entire family to enjoy themselves! We only went to the beach once because all the kids loved being at the house way more than the beach itself. It’s so equipped with many different things for the kids to do, from kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, life jackets, And so much more! Picking a house that’s on the water is the way to go! Maryann the property manager, was also very nice and always had great communication prior to arrival and throughout the stay. Definitely will stay here again!

Her husband had rigged 5 poles to fish with , all we had to do was buy the bait down the road ! The house was clean and very cute ! We especially liked the covered dock and swing area ! We had nine people and were accommodated well! If I had any negative it would be no place to eat! The table was on the top Patio ! In July it was just to hot to eat out there ! Some kind of covering would be nice and doable. Overall it was a nice 4 days just close enough to Galveston to drive in for dinner ! Thanks Maryann for sharing your little peace of paradise !

The owner of this house is literally the nicest lady EVER! We all got to experience firsts there. I never used a kayak before I never thought I would like it but I loved it! Now I'm purchasing one lol... all the guys went fishing successfully each catching something we rode bikes to the beach that was a great memory. The home was cozy and beautiful just my style I could stay there forever. But every good thing must come to a end... so until next time!
