Neighborhood boat ramp next door provides easy access to bring your own watercraft. Incredible backyard for games & cookouts with the family! Swim & play in the water with provided kayaks or Lily Pad. At the end of the day, you can enjoy dinner on the incredible decks & enjoy the views! The Space: Features: • 55” Smart TV in Living Room • 42” TV with Amazon Fire Stick in Bedroom 2 • Free WIFI available to all guests • 550 thread count sheets on all beds to make sure everyone sleeps comfortable • Dining Room seats 5 with an additional 2 seats available at the island • Propane Weber Grill on site for that afternoon cookout • Lots of Outdoor Games/Activities including Giant Connect 4, Ring Toss game, Lily Pad, and Kayaks • Inside the kids will be entertained with provided board games, card games, puzzles, and other toys • Floor fans available in all the bedrooms including the bunk nook for those that enjoy white noise • Bedroom 1 & 2 along with the Couch pull out Queen are equipped with mattress toppers for added comfort • Drip Coffee Maker Sleeping Arrangements: • Bedroom 1: Queen bed - Sleeps 2 • Bedroom 2: Queen bed - Sleeps 2 • Bunk Nook: 2 XL Twin Pillow Top Mattresses - Sleeps 2 • Couch makes out into a Queen bed - Sleeps 2 Guest Access: Guests can access the entire home, yard and boat dock! The Neighborhood: There is a neighborhood boat ramp available for guests to use! Other Things to Note: We are available by phone, email, text, Airbnb Message, or can be available in person if need be. No Pets allowed at this property. If evidence of pets are found it will be $500 fee automatically charged to the card on file. Due to recent housing boom we are experiencing more construction throughout our neighborhoods. Please be advised it as may be near this property. In lieu of a security deposit we require a $65 damage waiver fee through Safely that covers guests up to $5000 in damages to the property. Quiet Hours are from 10PM-8AM! All refunds will exclude a 5% credit card service fee.

House had everything needed and was fabulous! The views are great, the neighborhood quiet and it’s a great place for a weekend getaway. We left one item behind and the management company has been kind enough to ship it back to us. Highly recommend!

My husband, myself our college daughter, high school daughter and their friend took the jet skis for a lake getaway. We stayed at a place down the street last year and wrote the address down of Shade Tree Cottage because of the better location AND more importantly the jet ski lift! Comfortable house. We needed remote batteries and the sweet lady at Hill Country Stays brought us some quickly and was very helpful. My only complaint is no filtered water but we filled up jugs at HEB regularly. Would stay here again for sure.

We appreciated the convenient location. We had a good time on the wonderful decks with family fun fishing & kayaking off the dock. This is an updated, very clean cottage. One of our most enjoyable family getaways. We will come again!

Older cabin/home that is well kept. Great dock with lift(unexpected and pleasant addition). Well appointed with everything you would need. (Bathroom basics, salt/pepper assorted other kitchen basics. Plenty of pots pans knives) Place has a great view and close to everything but still across the bridge which I prefer.

We took our family and loved every second. The house was perfect and had everything, including fans to sleep to ❤️ The boys loved the bunk beds. We had so much fun kayaking and fishing off the dock. Proudly caught perch, catfish, and a bass! We will definitely be back! We even loved meeting some of the neighbors. It’s located so close to boat rentals and an HEB! Perfect get away ❤️

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place. We were fortunate to have beautiful and warm weather in February so we rented a boat for the day . My husband also enjoyed fishing off the dock at the house. The house was perfect for us and very clean. We enjoyed the different outside seating areas and the view of the water from the large widow inside the house.

This is a heavily find! Everything was so neat and clean. The coziness from the inside to the outside was fantastic. Well stocked with many fluffy bath towels and super comfy bedding! Kitchen had any thing needed. Already planning next stay. Thank you so very much. KB

This place served amazingly for a much needed getaway for our group of 6. Everyone had a blast. Between lounging in the sunroom or out on the dock or under the trees, everyone got in some relaxation. We enjoyed the lily pad and kayaks as well. We swam with the local ducks by the dock, my husband had some luck with fishing. Beautiful spot that we will look forward to visiting again soon! The house was clean and updated and comfortable. The beds were very comfy. Thank you for the stay!

We have rented multiple lake houses throughout the years and this one was thoughtfully stocked! I am choosy about the outdoor space because that’s why we come to the lake and this cottage did not disappoint. It was great to have the shaded doctor just hang out throughout the day. Our teenagers enjoyed the fire pit area too! Would definitely rent this cottage again. Appreciate the quick communication from Hill Country Stays. Wonderful memories made here!

We brought our own ski boat and loved having access to this beautiful cross-section of the hill country. Incredible location! Just a few small suggestions, nothing worth lowering the star rating: 1. Better cookware. The cookware had a "my first apartment" vibe, all very cheap and small. Hard to cook for even a family of four. 2. A hose down by the water would be great to wash off the goose poop on the deck. 3. I wish there had been a keyless entry from the lake side of the house. We had to lock up on the street and walk around ... Minor things. Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay, the location and amenities were great. The scenery was very calm and relaxing. Our kids loved the bunk beds and all the board and card games. Weenjoyed the outdoor deck and dock, we spent all day outside by the water. We will definitely be back.

A lovely small home on the lake. We loved the new boat dock and enjoyed fishing there most of the days. It would be helpful to have instructions for the microwave and other small appliances. The foam mattress covers on the beds made it extremely hard to get in and out of the bed but we managed. The property manager was very responsive to the few problems we encountered. We will rent this space again in the spring.

Had a great, relaxing time. Cottage was very clean and had a great location and proximity to town was outstanding. Really enjoyed the shady location and the dock setup was perfect place to gather, swim and enjoy the beautiful evening sunsets. We will be back really had a fantastic time. Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay, and loved the dock, boat lift and jet ski lifts! Deck and seating outside was super inviting. House was everything we expected, and the neighbors were super nice to boot. Management company was hyper responsive dealing with a maintenance issue. Would definitely stay here again. Wish it was a little bit bigger!

We very much enjoyed our Memorial Day Weekend stay at Shade Tree Cottage! The beds were comfy, the kitchen and restrooms met our needs, and we had a blast with the kayaks and lily pad. It was fun sitting on the patio making s'mores at the firepit while watching fireworks across the river. We will definitely be back!

Property represented as 3 bedroom, but 3rd "bedroom" was a niche with built-in bunks. Great lake location and beautiful yard. Boat dock was perfect for boats and jet skis. Unfortunately, yard was too steep for this old lady and I fell into an oak tree that skinned my face -- no lasting damage though.
