About this house rental
Nestled in East Quogue, this attractive house for $1,212 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Perfect house for two families or a reunion with friends. Walk to town and convenient to everything. Close enough to the water to feel an off shore breeze and hear seagulls. 10min drive to beaches, 20min to wineries. The house has beautiful light, a recently renovated kitchen, Central AC/Heat, Fiber Wifi, 42" Smart TV. Nine beds upstairs which can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The house also has a decadent outdoor shower and wood-burning fireplace. East Quogue is a destination for fresh food and the beaches are renown for their beauty and surfing. In terms of food, EQ has one of the only two fish markets on Long Island (Lighthouse Seafood - formerly Cor-J) that sells fish caught same day, the Densieski farm stand sells produce picked same day on their farm and Sonny's Prime Meats is known throughout the Hamptons for their unparalleled steaks and other meats. There's also the New Moon Cafe, Goldberg's bagel shop, Sakura House sushi, well provisioned wine store, massage parlor and a couple of low-key bars. During the summer season, daily beach access requires $30 parking passes which can be easily purchased at two nearby town beaches along Dune Rd. Healthy, low-toxic environment. The linens are cleaned with Seventh Generation brand laundry detergent without perfume and the household cleaning products are non-toxic products as much as possible. Organic fertilizers and weed control are used on the lawn. We only accept guests with reviews. Sorry but no dogs. Thanks for looking!

We had a great stay at this house. Everything went well and we really liked the old antique house that was very functional, spacious inside and outside, and in a great location.

We loved this house. It was comfortable and clean and a great location for walking to East Quogue and a great breakfast at Goldbergs Deli. It is also a few miles by car to Quogue and the Nature Preserve. The original character of the house has been preserved, yet everything you need is there.

Quogue had so much more charm than we could have imagined. The house was located in a great area and very accessible. Very spacious for a family.

Beautiful property!
We highly enjoyed our stay at David’s property for our friends bachelorette party. There were plenty of rooms/beds for everyone to sleep comfortably and we love the quaint style to this older home. This was also in a great location to be in close to things in the area. Definitely recommend!

Great Hamptons house
I stayed this past weekend with a few friends for a wedding in Westhampton. This location was so close to downtown Westhampton and was the perfect size for all of us to hang out during the day. I can't recommend this home enough!

Great getaway, great location
We really enjoyed our stay . We were extremely comfortable and felt right at home instantly in this charming house . Well organized and stocked with everything a family could need. Beds comfortable , bright light and a lovely garden . Would absolutely rent this home again. David is an incredibly responsive host too. Thank you for having us

Lovely Relaxing Getaway
A group of 7 of us women (all 40ish) stayed two nights to celebrate a friend's upcoming wedding. The house is beautiful! Even more charming than the photos! Beautiful decor, a fantastic porch gathering and chatting, and plenty of room for all of us! The host provided very easy to follow instructions for check-in and check-out and the house was supplied with linens, extra towels, and everything we needed! Would definitely come back!

Lovely home with beautiful grounds and a 'perfect for relaxing' front porch. Great lawn for croquet! Comfy beds and lots of them. Nice to have so many hang out areas. Our group enjoyed the house very much.

Charming Home in Hamptons
My group of 10 stayed at David's charming home. There were plenty of beds for all of us, comfortable shared spaces to hang out in, and all of the kitchen basics we needed. It rained for the entire weekend of our stay so we weren't able to utilize the beautiful property but we did get to enjoy the fireplace, living room, and enjoyed "family" meals together in the dining room. David was a responsive, friendly, and very helpful host!

Clean charming house
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The house had charm and a great lawn for outdoor activities. The neighborhood was quite. Excellent location. Within minutes from the water, grocery stores, beverage distributor, and deli. I will certainly want to make another stay here in the future!

We had booked another house for a bachelorette party and one month out our original reservation was cancelled due to Covid, but David so graciously let us rent his house and we are so happy that he did. He was super responsive leading up to our weekend away and also throughout the weekend as we had any questions that came up. Would definitely recommend his place!

Just What We Needed!
We just spent 12 fabulous days on one of the best streets in lovely East Quogue. The house was perfect. Lots of room to spread out with a great yard, wonderful front porch, and the best outdoor shower. The owners David and his wife were easily accessible by phone for questions and beyond helpful. My family and I truly appreciated their hospitality and would love to return!

A Disappointing Experience
My family and I just returned from our week long stay at this home - and we are saddened to say we would never go back. We had never taken a family vacation out to the Hamptons before and when we found this house with raving reviews about the charming interior, the great porch, and the welcoming neighborhood we thought we were in for a treat. But these reviews were NOT accurate and we had a very different experience. The house was completely worn down, with threadbare sheets and an AC system that shut off after 11 pm (making sleeping unbearable), and sitting areas that felt like they hadn't been properly cleaned. The front porch was in disarray and the hanging chairs were covered in mildew. We also did not feel particularly safe in our neighborhood which made spending time at the house uncomfortable. We had no cable, which the property manager failed to fix before we got there, and there was construction going on all week at the home behind ours, which the owner failed to mention and then would not address when we texted to ask about it. We all agreed you can make the best out of any situation and we made the most of the trip, leaving often to explore the surrounding towns - but if you are looking for a home to spend time at with your family - this is not the one for you.

Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Wonderful old home with touches of modern comforts such as the espresso machine. Enjoyed coffee every morning on the wrap-around porch while listening to the seagulls. Walked around the corner to Goldbergs and the local markets and wine shops. The owner was very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations. The home was more than enough space for 4 adults and plenty of privacy. This listing is exactly as described. Thank you so much for the wonderful visit.

Definitely an older home, however, very comfortable. Plenty of space for a big group. Enjoying sitting on the porch and watching the sunrise .

Lovely home
We really enjoyed our time in this home for a girls weekend. It was very relaxing and large enough for 10 women to not feel cramped. The bedrooms were great, and the common areas were very large you never felt like there was not enough space. Also, the kitchen was set up to feel like your own which was so nice because we cooked at home for almost all meals. It it was really wonderful time in this home - be first to shower, the hot water does run low after so many people use it! Not a problem at all, just something to keep in mind.

Wonderful family home!!
This is an OLD, comfortable home , perfect for our family vacation at the beach. It is somewhat dated but perfectly functional. There was even a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Some may be put off by the warnings of the old plumbing, the claw foot tub/shower, the creaky floors, but we loved it! There are many sitting/gathering areas, the front porch was a favorite spot for coffee in the morning, the dining room was large and comfortable. There is an outdoor shower , which was delightful (though I got the biggest splinter of my life in it!) We were all sad to leave; it truly felt like "home".

David's house is fantastic and we had a great time. He also went above and beyond, letting us stay for an extra day (free) because of a family emergency. The house is a nice combo of old details and new conveniences. We would love to return.

Shabby chic cool in the hamptons with all mod cons
We stayed 12 days at the house . It's in a great position for exploring the hamptons. We loved feeling part of a neighbourhood than in a holiday home and our kids safely cycled up and down the quiet roads. The house is shabby chic cool but with all the mod cons we wanted to have . Plenty of space for 9 adults and kids in our group . Everyone felt really at home . Dave is very responsive and helpful . A must to book if you plan to stay in the hamptons.

Great, relaxing home in convenient location!
My family and I loved staying at Dave's home in east quogue! The home had great indoor and outdoor space for our children to enjoy. The home was so quaint and comfortable and the location was peaceful but within a short drive of restaurants, shops and beaches.
Dave was terrific to work with and super accommodating.
We would definitely come back!

Such a fun home to stay in for the weekend
This was a great home to stay in for the weekend. It had a great vintage feel to it. We went during the off season so it wasn't beach weather, but it was fun to have a wood burning fire and to lounge around. It has plenty of beds and supplies for the 11 of us that stayed there. David (the owner) was always very responsive and available if we needed to ask a question. I recommend it!
