From the warm welcome to the sincere goodbye, our stay was exceptional. The staff are highly trained, ambassadors of the hospitality industry. The facilities are ultra clean and tastefully curated. The food, from the fresh fruit and warm homemade muffins to the fluffy flapjacks and crispy bacon… is superlative. 👌🏽Well worth a visit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property is beautifully presented and much loved. Every detail is thought out and I always love staying here. Rooms are fresh and decorated magnificently, each one has its own unique style. Breakfast is perfect and those coffees are next level!!
Absolutely nothing, it’s perfect .

A lovely idyll in this quiet corner of South Africa. Well kept and and thoroughly comfortable in all respects.
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make one’s stay relaxed and memorable.
Would love to go back for an extended stay.
The room was a little dark without the door being open.

Situated on a corner of the main road, the hotel is ideal for exploring Greyton. Walking distance to restaurants, the Saturday market and a short drive or bike ride away from the Greyton nature reserve which is great for hiking. The rooms are neat and cosy. The gardens are stunning. The manager. Tia is amazing and made us feel right at home.

Such a nice hotel, in a quiet village. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The garden is very nice to have a sunset drink and the pool to refresh during the day. We’ll come back!
We just had a problem with the booking with required paying for additional guests - all good otherwise

Friendly staff, location, a historical building come to life and drinks brought to the pool. .
The AC in room 2 didn't work too well. Luckily this is an easy fix. The AC in room 1 worked perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting with lovely gardens, pool, perfect location close to everything.
The small fridge didn’t get very cold and no ice.
Also air conditioning unit couldn’t be run very long.

Hotel was ok. Service during the stay from the lady and gent in the bar and at the front desk was friendly.
Left a personal belonging behind in the room. Called and arranged with a Janet, we assume the manager, to have it couriered to us in Cape Town. Paid Janet to do so. Item never delivered. Called and messaged repeatedly. Courier company blamed, no solution forthcoming. Two weeks later, went back to the hotel. Asked for the item. Manager not present. Nobody knew where the item was. Extremely poor response. Zero follow up. An unnecessary service own goal. More then a month later, still don't have my shirt back or the money paid for the courier.

Very friendly owners and staff. They made good recommendations concerning the town, area and places to visit and where to eat.
It is a town where you can relax and enjoy the hospitality of the residents.

I loved the location (close to all the restaurants and amenities). Beautiful gardens and well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Leon checked in on me when I was sick and made sure I was taken care off, it meant a lot to me. Tanks Leon! The attention to detail is remarkable throughout the establishment, no doubt due to Janet's keen eye and desire to please. The breakfast was exceptional!
I found the room a little small and the side tables tiny with huge lamps on them, not practical. The bathroom was rather small with little ventilation. The pool didn't look very clean although the water seemed to be ok. There was a lot of rain and load shedding/power issue in the entire Greyton for 27 hours, which possibly explains why it was hard to maintain the pool.

A really quaint little spot in the charming town of Greyton. Impeccably maintained grounds with lovely gardens and a beautiful pool area. Rooms looked out over a central courtyard area, which was really pretty. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, very quiet and well-appointed. There was a set breakfast option, which was very pleasant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Well maintained property. Beautiful garden and pool area to relax in. Awesome breakfast made with thought and care. Onsite coffee shop and bar. Well appointed room with comfortable bed and separate sitting area. Friendly and welcoming owners and staff. Nice location on Main Street, but very peaceful and quiet. All restaurants within walking distance.
Shower water pressure in this room a little low compared to what I am used to.

Great location. Beautiful and imaginative decor. Excellent presentation. friendly and helpful staff and management. Lovely garden and pool area.
Perfectly prepared breakfast.
I have learnt from many years travelling to always bring an extension cable to enable using my own hair dressing tools and chargers for our electronic devices so I was not in fact inconvenienced by the lack of power points in the bedroom.

Have stayed here before. Loved the location, the pool area, the big lawn area, the cute pub. really like the new updated look - rooms are lovely.
We are cyclists and asked specifically to have breakfast at 8:15am so we could avoid the heat of the day. We arrived just after 8am but only got served our breakfast after 9am!! This is totally unacceptable and happened on both mornings. The wait staff are not trained properly and no management appeared in the dining room.

Location and friendly staff
Quaint pub
1. The restaurant staff were not well trained and their English was very poor. They did not know or understand the menu (dinner and breakfasts) and often the orders were incomplete. Restaurant service was generally poor and disappointing.
2. The breakfasts, while tasty, were minimal and not well coordinated. Again poor training and organisation on behalf of the waiters. The spread could be better.
3. Room 6 - our beds were at different heights and the join between the two beds to make up the King was not seamless.
4. While we had small water bottles and morning biscuits for the first evening these were not replenished with room service for the second night.
