Struttura da consigliare per visitare Calcutta con un ottimo rapporto qualità/costo

Atmosfera accogliente. Servizi buoni per lo standard indiano.Il responsabile della struttura si è sempre pronto a dare consigli e aiutare a risolvere problemi. E’ inoltre un bravissimo cuoco e vale la pena provare i suoi piatti a pranzo o a cena.

Truly Calcutta's freshest! A quaint quiet place with access to everything!

The location was central Kolkata and we were able to easily access a lot of the touristy places! The staff was super friendly and warm, always available to help. They were able to also recommend interesting things to do in and around where we stayed. The food was very homely and very clean

The BnB has excelled my expectations regarding cleanliness, quietness and friendliness😃

It was allover a pleasant and satisfying stay. The room was very clean and quiet and the lounge is a welcoming cozy place to have breakfast but also to meet the lovely people that either work or stay there. The included breakfast is fantastic and made with love one can taste. Great advice on places to visite and even some secret tips on where to go and explore Kolkata are gladly given to all visitors. All my thanks for this great experience to the dedicated staff😊 I am looking forward to my next stay🤩

Lovely and clean accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood in a great location.

The property is a very pretty building in a really nice quiet area. It feels very safe and relaxed while being in an excellent location for seeing the city. We only had a little time in Kolkata but the host helps us find some lovely things to do just walking distance from the accommodation. The host was also incredibly helpful and friendly and made us a lovely breakfast! Definitely the best place to stay for a visit to Kolkata.

in the chaotic city its location makes it peaceful. the room was clean. overall its great place to stay in Kolkata.it us near by Birla temple.

Brilliant BnB

A wonderful BnB in a very nice part of Kolkata. The accommodation is tucked away on a quiet side road, so there is no noise disturbance. Good sized rooms, and very clean. Kettle in room, use of large kitchen and washing machine. The host Munna is an absolute star, very, very helpful, and a great unofficial tour advisor. Although breakfast was included, we also had dinner on two nights. Munna's cooking is superb, the best food we have had in India, all cooked to order and so tasty.

Tasteful interior, spacious rooms, cozy, homely atmosphere, delicious breakfast, super friendly staff. Highly recommende

The tasteful interior and the quality of the rooms rivals most 5-star hotels while maintaining a cozy, homely atmosphere. Munna who manages the place goes out of his way to make you feel welcome: waited for us even though we arrived very late, gives instructions to drivers, personally prepares a delicious breakfast (even went out shopping to get some vegan options). Highly recommended!

Exceptional, perfect nook to settle into after a long day.

I had a lovely time at this tucked away place in a prime locality. Felt warm, cozy and hospitable. The food made by Munna ji was lovely and he was there at every step of the way to help me around a new city. I’m definitely coming back!

Home away from home. Munnada made us feel like family

Quaint little property tucked away inside a warm residential neighborhood away from the noisy busy roads. We couldn’t wait to come back to our room at the end of a long day. AC was 100% functional which made our stay super comfortable. It was a home away from home and I’ll come back here every time I visit Kolkata

Ola and Uber can never find the property so I had to walk to the main road every time. But the road is just a 4 min walk so I didn’t mind.

The property is exactly as shown in the photos so, no surprises there. But the hidden bonus of staying here is the scrumptious food cooked by the in house chef Munna. The food is delicious, healthy, reasonably priced and you are spoilt for choices :)

Great value for money in Ballygunge

Great location, lovely communal area, nice breakfast, interesting residential area, comfortable room with aircon. Nice rooftop terrace with laundry fascilities, able to refill filter water.

Exceptional

The hospitality and the most important it was a dog friendly home stay. Our Maya (pet dog) was welcomed and she was made comfortable there by Munna bhaiya. Munna bhaiya even cooked a amazing breakfast for us and also a dinner for us on our request. I would surely recommend this home stay for all those who are visiting Kolkata with their pets or without them. Without any doubt just go for it.

A great place to live in Kolkata

The location, the vibes, and the behavior of the staff are fantastic in one word.

1. My room was on the ground floor which was a little bit damp, especially in the washroom area. 2. As the windows were sealed, there was a bit of a lack of air circulation. 3. Cash is the only mode of payment, the other option is the Indian online payment system which is a bit difficult for international tourists.

Charming hideaway in old Ballygunge.

Good location. Tricky to find, but tucked away in a network of quiet alleys, you get a nice feel for old Ballygunge. Munna the house manager was very helpful with transport tips, sightseeing suggestions and putting together a meal in the kitchen. I brought my own Turkish coffee and was allowed to make it myself in the kitchen. Very home-like. The room wasn't as charming as the public areas. However the ensuite bathroom was very well designed and functional.

Impossible for taxis to find the place, whether picking you up (that's when it's most frustrating) or dropping you off. I had to find a nearby landmark for this purpose, then walk from there. Mostly I just said Ballygunge Park, a small public park nearby.

The property is beautifully & simply decorated. it’s clean, warm and comfortable. The staff are most accommodating. Munna and his team are wonderful hosts & Roopesh was wonderful. Helped me with my train bookings. Have stayed many times in Kolkata & this is one of my favorite stays. I will be back.

There was a problem with water not being very hot in 1 room although fine in all the others. the management are looking into this and will sort out.

Amazing hosting by Munna Da. He is extremely helpful and very good to have a chat with. All staff are extremely pet loving which is really a great thing for pet parents like us as it increases our comfort level to another level.

Good accomodation and value for price

Yellowbricks 5/4 was an exceptional stay. I highly would recommend it to multiple friends especially those on a budget trip. Staff is very helpful and available at almost all times. Breakfast is good as well.

Superb

The place is cosy and cute. It is ideal for both solo travellers and group. The place is beautiful and pretty instagramic! It is near to all major tourist attractions and accessible by public transport. The host is friendly and cooks amazing aalo Paratha and egg sandwiches. If you are visiting the place, don't forget to try the sandwiches. It is indeed Culcutta's freshest BnB!

Nice homely BnB

The BnB is located in a nice peaceful locality in Ballygunge. It has a very homely feeling to it. All basic amenities are provided. The caretaker (Munna) makes lovely breakfast (we had aloo parantha and cheese omellete). Would love to stay again here on our next visit.

Well, this place is a must go to place at least once in your lifetime. Gives amazing feels in Kolkata. So many conversat

So we went there as a couple and this place passed the vibe check after we stayed here. There was a slight confusion in the start of our stay and the owner was a little rude on phone and it wasn’t welcoming but then we met Mr. Munna, who made our stay feel like a breeze. If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have enjoyed the place this much. He can hold a good conversation while doing the chores and also special mention has be given to his cooking in which he absolutely excels! Oh, didn’t we love the food he made for us? Breakfast on the house was so good it prompted us to go for the lunch of in-house as well and we loved it again. The hall, the kitchen, the reading room (all shared space) and the bedroom is really well done. Kudos to the interior designer of the house. And having Mr. Munna all the time, was such a comfortable thing.

The owner should be more welcoming towards the people who’re coming here or if he thinks he’s busy in other stuff and can’t take calls/talk nicely and warmly with guests then he should refer them to Mr. Munna who’s actually available there all the time to assist. I started on a bad note with him because he was very aggressive about a confusion that I had and I think it could’ve been dealt with in a better way. Just that part was a bit forgettable but rest of it was amazing!

Super nice atmosphere and decor ! A unique place in Kolkata. View from rooftop to get breakfast is the best start of the day. The bathroom was so nice and beautiful !!
