About this house rental
Situated in Gainesville, this attractive house for $354 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. ***WE ARE PROPERLY LICENSED BY HALL COUNTY FOR SHORT TERM RENTALS. Business License #0033073 *** No pets allowed. We are very sorry, but our family has multiple members that are allergic and also suffer from asthma. No large gatherings or events. Maximum 7 overnight guests. This beautiful 1600 square foot, fully furnished house with two living areas to relax in is just a 2 minute walk to the covered dock in a quiet, wonderful cove. It sits back from the street nestled in the tall trees. It has a wrap around deck to enjoy the cool quiet evenings. Our house at the lake features hardwood floors throughout the downstairs living areas, beautiful, functional kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and even has a keurig and a crock pot! There is a king bed in the upstairs master suite with a private bath and private deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The kids' room has a single over full bunk bed. There are two living areas, one with a large flat screen tv, the other is just off the kitchen with two cozy chairs for reading or chatting. There are two TV's in the house and WiFi, but also a tv for DVD's only in the kids' room. We've also provided some of our favorite board games, puzzles and a few decks of cards for quality "disconnected" family time without the distraction of electronic devices. The house sits on a secluded cove that is wide and deep and is bordered on one side by an un-populated peninsula. This cove is big enough to play in all day and we rarely feel the need to even leave it, but we're just 5-10 minute boat ride to Gainesville Marina which has a gas dock as well as Skogies on Lanier. The single slip dock will easily accommodate up to a 24' boat. Our home is conveniently located just minutes from shopping at Wal-mart, Target, Kohls, Old Navy, Marshall's, Ross, Publix, Academy, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Great dining is close by at Texas Road House, Cheddar's, Olive Garden, Wild Wings & Panera Bread. This home has recently added a stacked washer/dryer. There is also a fabulous laundro-mat literally right across the street from the neighborhood. It is very clean and nice. You can wash multiple loads at once and be out the door in about an hour!

Every year for the last 10yrs 4 of us college buds meet at Lake Lanier and spend 4 days at different locations around the lake.This year only 2 could make it but it was great just the same,
Deana's lake house was spotless, well equiped and was close to great eateries. The home also had a covered dock to keep my boat during our stay.

The booking and payment process was super simple, with no surprises. Communiication with the property owner (Deana) was easy. We shared mobile numbers once we got to the property. When we arrived, the property was EXACTLY the way it's shown in the photos and described in the listing. Since we were there with young kids (ages 1 and 3), the large open living space was perfect for crawling and exploring, all while being within easy view of parents and grandparents. Great, fully equipped kitchen, which we used for breakfast each morning. Nice, propane grill which we used to cook brats one night. We especially enjoyed the bedroom arrangement. My wife and I took the VERY large upstairs bedroom and full bath and our kids and grandkids took the 2 main floor bedrooms and full bath. This gave us the quiet we needed, while giving them the space that they needed. Everything in the place worked great - TV's, appliances, WiFi, ceiling fans, etc. And, the place was super clean. It also worked out well for us because of the dock that is on the property. The inlaws own a pontoon boat that is kept at a marina on Lake Lanier so they would just come over to the dock, pick us up, take us out on the lake to play and then take us to one of the dockable restaurants on the lake. The trail to the dock from the back deck is a short walk, but isn't very steep. We were able to pull a cooler with wheels between the house and the dock. We would definitely book this property again!

Beautiful home! Perfect location! Plenty of space. Came down from Michigan for family vacation and to get a car for our daughter who lives here. This house is stunning! Plenty of room for us, my sister and her two kids. Close to shopping, parks and dining out. Deana is a great hostess!

House was great. Host was great. stayed here while racing at Road Atlanta - not a bad drive to have such a nice place to rest at the end of the day. Would stay again and highly recommend. Very clean.

Deana, the property manager and her husband did a great job in organizing and equiping the house for a comfortable and relaxing stay. In addition, they were both very responsive to address any question or issue that came up. Deana provided a detailed sheet before we checked in with details about the house as well as information about the surrounding area. This helped us to orient quickly. The kitchen is very well equipped with whatever you need to cook. There is a gas grill that worked great on steaks, burgers, pork chops and brats! The rest of the house was very good. My group of 4 men used the house for our annual fishing trip on Lake Lanier. The house has a large U shaped driveway that accomodated our 4 fishing boats and trailers well. It also has a boat dock that we used midday for lunch. The lot is relatively flat so walking from the dock to the house was very easy. The house is located on the edge of Gainesville which puts it at the middle of Lake Lanier. This makes it possible to access all parts of the lake easily with minimal driving. My group will definitely book this house again for our next fishing trip. Thanks to Deana for a great stay at her lovely house!!

The house was lovely. The whole property was beautiful and we used the dock and paddle boards provided near every day. The air conditioner stopped working while we were there and the homeowners had it repaired immediately, which was impressive. Overall we had a fantastic experience there.

Well-kept home in a small neighborhood with direct access to Lake Lanier. Accommodations were comfortable and there was good housekeeping. The location is near most restaurants in the Gainesville area, and lake restaurants are nearby. We had a very pleasant stay.

This was the one of the best stays I and my family have had. The house was equipped with EVERYTHING! The host was super gracious and she even checked on us the day after check-in to ensure all was ok. I would definitely recommend!

Deanna was very pleasant and easy to work with. She communicated quickly and had everything ready for us to check in. The property was super clean and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the dock and the lake and the house was really easy to get to. She even arranged for some perfect weather for us. We would love to come back and visit again!

We went to the IMSA race nearby and this was a great location with everything you needed nearby- nice circle driveway made towing in and out easy- liked the coffee that you had for us at the house- we used most of it!

We had an amazing time at the cabin! Everything was nicely decorated, clean and thoughtfully laid out. The location is ideal so it was so easy to get around. We also had a mishap and lost a phone in the lake. Deana was so helpful by recommending a contact that helps to retrieve items. Thank you!

It was extremely easy to rent this house, the homeowner communicated in a timely manner. It is a beautifully well cared for home, we were very comfortable here. The house closed to anything you need!

Great home on Lake Lanier. The communication with Deana from start to finish was excellent. House was exactly as advertised and the whole family had fun paddle boarding for the first time. Hopefully we'll get back to Gainesville again someday and when we do this is where we will be hoping to stay. Thanks!

Wonderful lake house
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lake house. It exceeded our expectations. We spent most of the daytime hours playing in the water off the dock. We’d stay here again!

Sanctuary
We came into town for a family funeral. Bunking with other family or crowding into a hotel wasn’t going to work for this occasion. This home gave us exactly what we needed: quiet, a huge master, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms for our teens, easy access to shopping, plenty of parking, and the lake which we floated in the day after very happily. Our host was a great communicator. I hope to return to this home.
