Hideous, hot, horrendous

There was tea, coffee and sugar, but no milk.

- Definitely not as advertised. - The reception at arrival was not great. There were no sign of the owners. - The room was extremely hot. Although there was a fan, it was noisy. - The toilet, basin & shower are all in a small rectangular space. - The mirror and shower door were dirty. - No soap in the bathroom. - There was not a drop of water in the shower taps. - Walls are not plastered and the floors are not tiled. - Neighbours in the room next door were talking loudly after 00:00. - Six pictures are worth a thousand words.

Nothing.. Absolutely nothing...was in place as was advertise on BOOKINGS. COM

There was NOTHING TO LIKE.. NO SAFE CAR PARKING.. THE ROOMS WAS NOT CLEAN... NO CHAIRS TO SIT ON... NO FULL KITCHEN AS PROMISED AND ADVERTISED AT ALL.. SUCH AS CUTLERY... STOVE.. MICRO WAVE...STOVE.. KETTLE.. CUPS.. TEASPOONE ETC.. THE SHOWER WAS ROUCHLY MADE OF ROOF PLATES!!! AND NOT CLEANED AT ALL.. EVERYTHING WAS FULL OF DUST.. EVERYTHING WAS NOT SATUS FACTORY... IT WAS A SHOCK AS WAS WAS ADVERTISED AND THE REALLITY... WE WILL NOT RECOMMENT THIS GEUST HOUSE TO ANYONE!! WE HAD TO DRIVE 60KM TO STAY!!

It was serene

I like how private and intimate it was. There was peace and quiet 😊

The utilities in the kitchen, we didn’t have a dishcloth so it was difficult to clean up the kitchen We had only 1 tissue to use throughout our stay.

Four walls a roof and a heater

Not working: bathroom, tv, wifi, parking, clothes rail and bed Absent: space to put suitcase and clothes, extra pillows and just maybe an extra sachet of coffee as the cups are minute

We managed but would not stay again as the wheelchair access was not sufficient for our needs

Once in the room it was easy to move around for the wheelchair. The room was clean and the bin cleared every day.

Very difficult to get from the parking to the room with the wheelchair and could not be done by the wheelchair user alone. No back up lighting provided for the extended loadshedding experienced every night - not even a candle. The lack of warm water in the basin in the bathroom made shaving difficult - plus there was no mirror at the correct height for a wheelchair user to use at the basin

I I come from a positive course, and i would like to rate everything positive. During loadshedding

Door glass allows people from outside to see, frosting or curtains can help. During loadshedding, owners to share their electricity from their generator that was on, and not leave client in the dark.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating , the place was clean and in a great location very safe and very private

The cleaner didn't clean for 2 days and we cleaned the room ourselves. The bathrooms appearing is not so good needs to be improved

The staff was friendly and tried by all means to assist . Which is why it makes me sad because they could not do anything about the place.

What's on th pictures is nt the Same The place is small if felt like .Dorm room or Shack I felt lost and misplaced

The room was big and it was home away 4rm home and the son of the owner 4 bringing us the extention during loadshading he is a great host that 1

The guy hu welcomed us was in a hurry we did not even get his name,the pool was not clean we did no have a the chance to swim,we did not get any mop 2 clean we had 2 improvise when something fell

It look like a nice place and Lebo tried

We did not stay. Up to now no refund. No explanation frpm the owner as I was promised. This guest house give themselves out as people who tolerate a no noise policy. We were told the owner will be there in 15 min. We waited and the we left. There was people in the room allocated to us. We were told to find the remote in the lockbox when we opened the lockbox there was no remote to open the gate. Eventually the guest in the room next to us came out as high as a kite saying you are probably looking for this. So only then we could enter. It was loadshedding everything was dark no emergency light nothing. Until 22h30 no power. The noise and music of the next door guests was just to much. From my point of view the owner can at least call and discuss the refund. How do you charge guests if they were not even staying the night....if you can see the room was left untouched surely it must say something!
