A massive storm came through - and we could walk to so many places it was great! Everyone was comfortable and the living space is a great place to hang out. I liked that bedrooms were upstairs and the whole downstairs is for visiting. My only knock on the rental is someone (either host or someone from his family) stopped by or called each day which made it feel less private. However, the host is very nice and they were coming to help clear snow and check on the hot tub - so was totally understandable. It doesn’t change my rating!

Beautiful house with tons of room and fantastic outdoor area. We were all so comfortable and happy with everything the house offered, which was all very much in line with the listing. The house is perfectly located within walking distance or short drive to main attractions in South Lake. Eddie is also a great host and keeps the property in too shape!

This is the ninth time we have stayed in Eddie's house. As usual it was great. From the landscaping to the continued improvements the house gets better every year. We look forward to our visit next year. The location is walking distance to the shops, casinos, restaurants, etc.

If you're looking to stay somewhere within walking distance if everything in South Lake Tahoe, this house is it! We had 11 adults stay at the house comfortably. We were able to walk to casinos, heavenly village, and ski run marina.

Our family visited Lake Tahoe for our vacation, the Celebrity Golf Tournament, the casinos, the beach, and the restaurants. This location was PERFECT! We were in walking distance of everything. The home was spacious, clean, and everything we could have hoped for!

Great accommodations for a family event near the lake and wedding venues as well as the Gondola and casinos for those that wish to partake. Shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance. The place was clean and well stocked with essentials and toiletries. Outside patios, basketball courts and hot tub made it a great place for the family to gather and enjoy the beautiful summer weather and the kids to run around.

We had two families (10 people) stay at this home so we could ski at Heavenly during the day and enjoy the gambling and restaurants of South Lake Tahoe at night. This house was a perfect solution for us. Everything about this house was just as listed. I have never stayed at a house with a kitchen so well stocked - they have EVERYTHING! The house was very clean and large enough for everyone to have plenty of space. The location is perfect for walking to town for restaurants, shopping, etc. There is even a grocery store within walking distance. And we walked to the gondola each morning to ski - only 3 blocks! I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend time in South Lake Tahoe. We would love to come back and will definitely stay here again.

The house was so clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the things you could need. The house is a 3 minute walk from Heavenly gondola, it was perfect!

We wanted to stay close to Heavenly Village, and this place was perfect for our party of 10. We only had to walk a few blocks to get onto the gondola. This property is close to everything you will need for a great trip. The hot tub was great, and the house was very relaxing. We will definitely want to stay again!

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip because of the smoke and fires surrounding Lake Tahoe. Eddie was great and very easy to work with. We will definitely rent the cabin again! It looks so nice and such a great location.

Perfect location 5 minutes from the beach/marinas and Heavenly Villiage. Eddie is a wonderful host that takes pride in his property. Front yard has beautiful flowers and an amazing stand of ponderosa pines that keep the home cool all day. Well equipped, cozy and convenient to the best of South Lake Tahoe. No finer rental property in the area.

This house is exactly where you'll want to be if you want to be in the heart of all the action. It's steps away from the hotels and Lakeside Beach. It's true, if you stay in South Lake, you park and never need to get back in it again.The house itself is large and houses many people so it's good for larger groups. The grounds are very pretty with some activities in the backyard. The owner pays special attention to detail on his landscaping and it shows. There is a hot tub, but we didn't use it as the water desperately needs to be changed. Just putting in chemicals each day is not enough, it needs to be drained and refilled. The house itself has great appliances, as they are pretty new. The bathrooms, except for the master bedroom have been updated. The rest of the house needs bit more updating as well. When we were there, the furniture was pretty old (saggy couch, old dinning room table), but owner mentioned after we left, they were getting new items. For what we paid, I would have liked the property a bit more updated, especially the mater bedroom suite area. This property gets HOT in the summer. It's smack in the middle between a motel and another two condos so there is little to no breeze. We had to buy two fans right when we arrived because it was so miserable. We had an infant son and this was really hard on us, especially during his sleep time. Overall, we had such a great time in Tahoe, it's one of our favorite places. The owner of this home was super communicative and made sure our needs were met. My final note is that we paid over 1100/night for this home and for that price, I expected a bit more in terms of up keep of the home (inside where it hasn't been updated). In off-peak this house is reasonable, but I'm not sure I felt I got my value here for what I paid per night. Then again, you pay for LOCATION!

Amazing property! We stay in the Lakeside neighborhood annually and this has been our favorite. Very spacious and beautiful well kept grounds. A few blocks from the beach and casinos. Multiple areas outside to sit/relax and enjoy a cocktail. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of serving platters, plates, etc… Attentive and very gracious owner/host. Looking forward to returning.
