Walk past nine houses to arrive at the private neighborhood path over the sand dunes to Hardings Beach. You can also walk to Barn Hill Landing where you can watch lobster boats, or fish from the dock. Rent kayaks and paddleboards on the scenic ocean harbor of Oyster Pond, which leads to Chatham Village. Bright, sunny rooms make this the perfect, peaceful beach retreat! Sleeps 8~~One King, One Queen, Twin Bunks, Trundle Day Bed that converts to king size, and Double Pull out sofa. While renting this property, you can walk 1/5th of a mile to Hardings Beach within the private neighborhood, and follow the path over the sand dunes down to the beach. Hardings beach has a lifeguard during the summer months, and is safe for young children. There are few waves at this beach and the water is relatively warm because it is protected by the Nantucket Sound. Kids will have fun catching sand crabs, following the sand dune paths and building sand castles. You don't have the extreme low tides and high tides you can experience on the Bay side of Cape Cod. You can swim, fly a kite, or walk on the beach for a mile to Oyster River or to Stage Harbor Lighthouse. This beach is surrounded by Cape Cod sand dunes and the beach and ocean-side neighborhood are beautiful and peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location with easy access to Harding’s Beach. It’s also a short ride into Chatham. The house is cozy and comfortable, very clean and well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed a “bicycle built for two” that the hosts made available!

This house is in the perfect location for beach going, dining,, and just enjoying the week away! The property is clean and inviting. We had one issue with the door lock mechanism, but it was quickly addressed by the owners. Everything we could have wanted or needed was on site which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay in this lovely home again should we return to Cape Cod! Thank you Keith and Linda for all the attention paid to making our visit easy and relaxing!

Great property! Access was convenient. Close to town. Short walk to beautiful beach. Well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Great deck and backyard for play. All you need is here!

We had a great 4 night stay. All aspects of this trip exceeded expectations starting with the amazing communication/Chatham suggestions with Linda prior to the trip to the beautiful neighborhood and beach walks. The house is open and inviting and it was difficult to leave. Thanks to Linda and Keith for sharing their home.

The property is located in a small community with shared access to the beach via a short path. The house matched the listing and was in immaculate shape. We place a high value on cleanliness, and everything was spotless. The outside deck provided a great spot to sit and relax and the proximity to restaurants and shopping in nearby Chatham was ideal. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home and only a walk to the beach which was great. The home is very comfortable and Hosts welcoming. The only problem was the internet went down for our first few days so didn’t have TV but Linda (homeowner) worked diligently with the internet company until it was fixes. Really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place for a beach vacation. We enjoyed ourselves at this clean, comfy and cozy place. The house had everything we needed and more. The beach access was easy and convenient. The owners were very reachable and fantastic hosts. Will definitely return in the future!

The hosts do everything possible to make this a perfect stay...It starts with great communication and their home is well maintained, walking distance to the beach, and in a very quiet neighborhood. We will continue to make this our preferred and favorite desitnation on the Cape.

Clean fresh space with many toys and beach items for children. Best part though is the short walk to a long uncrowded beach on the bay. Some days the water is quite still and others the wind whips up waves. So much to experience on this stretch of beach, all the way to Stage Harbor Light. Go home for a bit then walk back at sunset and linger to see the stars. The true Cape Cod.

The house was beautiful. Bright and airy and very welcoming. we enjoyed our stay and had a great time celebrating our 60th birthdays together. The owners were easy to reach when we had a question and the house had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. I will definitely return especially in the summer and I love that it is so close to Hardings Beach - my favorite place to hang out. Thank you for a great weekend.

Our family had a great stay at this property. The house was super clean and in a great location to beach, walking distance. We did have a couple coyote sightings, but we were notified way in advance this could be a possibility. We visited the house with our dog, but just made sure to time walks appropriately and keep him on a leash. I never felt threatened in any way...and it was quite possibly my kids' favorite memory seeing them! My point, if you happen to bring your dog, do be conscious of this. We truly enjoyed the neighborhood and adorable walk to the beach. There are so many amazing restaurants in the area, but I think our favorite was Mac's Chatham Fish and Lobster. The cod and clam chowder were OUT of this world and it was super family friendly. It was order and then sit, so plan to get there on the early side if you have young kids. We also loved the Mom & Pop's Burgers...great for families with young kiddos. All around, loved this house. Thank you so much.
