The house was great for the 5 of us (3 kids 14f, 13f, 11m, 2 adults). Literally right across the street from the beach—maybe a 1 min walk to get there. Beach was not crowded AT ALL (bonus: there were sea turtle nests roped off on the beach). Booked the wrong dates initially but the PM was fantastic about switching us to the correct dates. Great communication before check in and check out (couple of quick little texts). We locked ourselves out on our first full day (a Sunday) and left a message on their emergency VM. It took a little bit of time (understandably!) but we got a phone call from them first then a text with a code to the keypad to get us back in in an instant. House had a few beach chairs, boogie boards, canopy tent, floaters etc for the beach. Kitchen had all the basics and just a short drive to grocery stores. Very clean, bright, well-kept house. 5-10 min walk to John’s pass for touristy shops, restaurants and activities (and ice cream at sugar daddy’s). Gas grill in the garage that worked great, 2 bathrooms, nice bedrooms, comfy beds and pillows. Really nothing to complain about with this property. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and would rec to friends and family.

Our stay was great, the only thing we thought could have been better was the bed in master bedroom. We could feel box springs through the mattress. But overall it was a great place to stay We would love to come back.

“A Wave Away” rental was the perfect location, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to John’s Pass for our spring break experience. The house was comfortable and very affordable. It was equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again!!

The Home was just as pictured. We loved how everything was updated and felt new. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front deck. Online pictures of the house and property looked just like what we saw in person. Plenty of space in the house for our party of 2 adults and 4 “kids” 19-22. Kitchen was appointed with enough of everything needed for meals cooked at the house. Nice having the cart and beach chairs in the garage to use. Nice to have a grill for outside cooking. For the most part the house was very clean. There were a few areas that could have been cleaned a little better, like the floors and the couches. The floors felt like they had sand or dirt on them and that was right when we got there. Used the vacuum to clean it up a bit. The couches had long hairs all over the furniture covers, could have easily been lint rolled. Convenient location with the gulf being right across the street. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Publix for groceries wasn’t that far of a drive. Lisa’s Cafe for breakfast is a must! I think utilizing the keypad locks would be much easier than having to go to the rental property to pick up keys. Maybe leave the garage opener on the table to cut out having to go to the rental property office too. We had a fire alarm start beeping that it needed a new battery and we called and they came within a few hours to fix it. All in all we had a great vacation and would stay here again!

Spent a month at this clean, well-equipped cottage with a view of the Gulf. Everything was great. It is located on a busy street but it’s very easy to cross because of pedestrian crossing lights you can push. It is noisy from the front porch but very quiet inside as long as the windows are closed. The Beach across the street was beautiful and uncrowded during February and the first week of March.
One suggestion to the owner to install a key box or new keyless entry system so guests do not need to drive to property manager for keys.
Would be great for families. Enormous high-ceiling garage on ground floor.

Cross walk was right in front of the house, so made crossing to the beach easy! House was perfect for our family, beautifully decorated, exactly what we needed! Property manager and owner were quick to fix any issues! There are beach towels there, so leave yours at home! We go to a different location every year, would definitely consider coming back to this house again!

The house is beautiful and just as pictured! Location is fantastic as the house is across the street from beach access. Very short walk. You can see the ocean from the front porch chairs and we enjoyed them every night before bed, and every morning sipping coffee overlooking Gulf blvd. We walked daily to Johns Pass for dinner, drinks, music, shopping.....maybe a half mile walk. So many restaurant choices in the area that are walking distance.....here were our favorites: Caddy's (north of the house) fantastic food and we walked on the sand during the days for frozen drinks Johns Pass Grille good food and most reasonably pricedMad Beach Brewery fantastic meals for all of us thereOne tip...... take inventory at the house before hitting the grocery store. The cleaning staff kindly leaves things from the group before which was very nice! (paper plates, dish soap, salt & pepper, tin foil etc) Guests and/or staff have left beach chairs (we left a brand new one also) and beach cart, toys which made it SO nice that we didn't have to purchase all new. There is a 7-11 a few houses down which helps if you need something.This is a great vacation location with lots to do. I think our only negative comment is that the check in and check out process is very difficult if you didn't have a car. It would be so much easier to have a computer code lock on the door. Instead you have to carry keys all week to the beach and drive 20 minutes to the office to pick them up and drop off at end of week. Since we were using Uber this trip, it added an extra inconvenience and expense.Other than that one comment, I honestly have nothing bad to say! We would stay again!
